I have been going to Dr Banks for over 10 years and consider him and his staff to be the best in southern ca. I currently commute 5 hours round trip for my office visits and his professionalism and expertise makes the time commute a minor issue. I feel that my feet are too important to trust just to any doctor and I want the very best which he is.

I thought everyone was very thoughtful and considerate. Dr. Bank was very gentle and competent.

Dr. Daniel Banks is personable, professional, honest, and takes his time to understand the patient’s health concerns relating to the feet. I sprang my foot and after examination, Dr. Banks determined it was a sprang ankle and that it needed rest. As well, he advised of my flat feet and customized orthotics for me to wear with athletic shoes. After having worn my shoes with the orthotics, my feet don’t get as tired easily and walking/​exercising is less strenuous. Thank you for being so diligent and helpful!

I was referred to Dr. Bank by two different people, and can’t wait for someone to ask me for a podiatrist referral so I can do the same. Dr. Bank is just the right amount of serious and very approachable. You never feel rushed, he shows genuine concern, but also keeps it light and friendly. I’ve been to see him for two conditions. He cleared one up, and helped me find a way to manage the other with almost no discomfort. He has such a positive outlook on things, that it’s contagious. His staff are very sweet, too. Highly recommend!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Bank this week and he is not only friendly — but he treated me in such a way that made me feel he was trying to find a solution to my specific problem. He carefully evaluated my X-​rays and determined that my orthotics could benefit from some tweaking.
From there he went through the process of improving my orthotics and in turn my feet feel better. He also recommended a steroid shot to help with the swelling I was experiencing. Shots in joints are never a treat but Dr. Bank administered it in a way that the discomfort was minimized.
He clearly cares about what he does and how each patient feels when they walk away. I strongly recommend you schedule a visit with him if you are experiencing issues with your feet.

The best foot Doc in town. Makes sure you feel better walking out as opposed to when you limped in! Great staff too. Love them all.

I have been to Dr. Bank several times and he is always professional and caring. I have never had to wait and he always makes me laugh. If you have any kind of foot pain I highly recommend him.

Competent, sure, respectful and professional. I find his level of care to be of the utmost quality with one eye on existing comfort and the other on preventative measures. Obviously his office staff has learned from the best. They are polite, efficient and always willing to go the extra mile to see you satisfied and well taken care of. It is my sincere pleasure to recomend Dr. Banks and his staff to you and your family.
Honestly, reading to the other complaint reviews sounds like BS. I have been to other foot docs and to Dr. Banks enough to realize I don’t want another foot doctor.
When you go to the drive through, sometimes you get cold fries. Try a smile and a pleasant voice.

Dr. Bank is fantastic! He thoroughly explained the issue I was having with my foot and suggested various options for dealing with it. Ultimately he performed surgery and I am well on my way to a successful recovery.

Dr Bank and his staff are the best! I’ve had several surgeries done by him and I’ve always been pleased with the outcome. He is one of the nicest kindest and funniest doctors in the OC. He always makes me laugh! He truly cares about his patients and always wants whats best for them. It’s very rare that you have to wait too!

This morning I called Dr. Bank’s office to get an appointment and was told his first opening is Monday. I conveyed to his staff I am experiencing a gout attack and needed to see if he could squeeze me in and without hesitation she said no. Obviously his staff doesn’t understand gout and that my issue couldn’t wait until Monday. What good is a doctor when you need him most and he’s unavailable?

I saw Dr. Bank on 9-​8-​2015, I chose him due to excellent Unilocal reviews. I had a bad experience. Customer service was not outstanding. He never used my first name once when addressing me, didn’t answer my questions thoroughly. Lots of shrugging of shoulders and maybe’s. Not guaranteeing one thing will work over the other. I felt he gave me a pricier option just out of greed. The $ 50 insole and the $ 475 custom made one, was given the same probability of working. I cancelled the work order for the custom made one, I was charged $ 100 for cancellation and only refunded $ 375. I asked for a one-​time courtesy refund to retain me as a client, his back office assistant said, the doctor said no! My business was not wanted anymore, is my take. He has great reviews, hopefully, they are all real and nobody else has a bad experience. It’s not about the money, but that his assistant called me a liar in not so many words and raised her voice, talked over me, when I was trying to inform her of the conversation I had with the doctor. She behaved as if she had heard the entire conversation, when in fact she was in and out of the exam room. She has a really horrible attitude. Probably working there too long.

Dr. Bank is an amazing doctor! Took the time to answer all my questions and is extremely compassionate. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Bank is literally a life saver. My father had been to various podiatrists because his feet felt heavy and tingled. None seemed to be able to diagnose the problem, just prescribing creams and pills. One quack even suggested he rub his feet with sand? We came to Dr. Bank just based on Unilocal reviews and we haven’t been disappointed. Long story short, it was a heart issue. We would have never discovered my father needed a quadruple bypass if Dr. Bank hadn’t been thorough and sent my father for a circulation exam. I would highly recommend Dr. Bank!

I went to Dr. Bank for orthotics. He made them and after a long walk they still hurt. So he «fixed» them– and charged me more for correcting them. He had not told me up front that adjustments would have additional charges. I mentioned this to him-​I understand that things can need adjustments but not that I’m charged for getting them right –what it if took 5 tries? (that would have cost $ 500 above the original price!) and he compared it to his having had to pay every time his TMJ was adjusted– don’t know whom he sees for dentistry but when I get new crowns they fix it for free until it is right. Anyway, the orthotic was much worse after the fixing than before. (hurt after almost no walking) Btw, be careful– just picking up the orthotic can cost you your co-​pay even though he just gives them to you. I picked them up from the front desk — otherwise it would have been $ 50 to bring them to him for correction and then $ 50 to pick up the corrected pair! (the 2^nd $ 50 would be just because you’d seen his face when he handed them to you) He also told me that to correct my separating toes I’d need surgery that would shorten a toe and need a screw in it. The same honest & smart podiatrist who just fixed Dr. Bank’s bad orthotic for me, is also having an MRI done since he thinks my toes may just need stitching. The girls in Dr. Bank’s office are nice, but Dr. Bank is fast talking, and way too money loving– charging you each time he gets things wrong. By the way, he’d have never gotten it right– I needed a longer orthotic that had padding support toward the front of the foot– his orthotics were too short.

Dr. Bank and his staff are so great! Not only is he one of the best podiatrists around he is a compassionate and caring doctor. I highly recommend him for any and all foot and ankle ailments you may have.

I went to Dr. Bank to fix my foot & he was amazing! Surgery was smooth & once healed my foot will look & feel greats. Removed my protruding bone & wearing wedges & pumps only months away! I would recommend him to anyone!

I was referred to Dr. Banks by my physical therapist of 9 yrs. They have never steered me wrong and with Dr. Banks that track record continues.
I had a very large bone spur and chipped bone fragments my heel as well as hammer toe on both pinky toes. Dr. Banks and his staff are very awesome to deal with. I was nervous to get surgery but Dr. Banks and staff answered all my questions and put me at ease. The doctor having a 28 year proven track record also helped.
I am now 6 weeks post op and my feet are finally not in pain so I am able to enjoy activities that previously missed out on because it was painful.
I highly recommend Dr. Banks and staff!

We have been going to Dr. Dan Banks for the past 8 years and he is AMAZING!
My son Skyler had to have a major operation and Dr. Banks performed the plasty lengthening 8 years ago.
Dr Banks has taken care of ALL of the post follow up visits, therapy reviews, cast removal, custom orthopedics and overall leg and foot health care for Skyler.
We had a checkup yesterday and when we were driving home… Skyler said and I quote «Dr. Banks is the best dad! He helps me with my foot, so I can run faster and jump higher. kinda of like Super Man. Dr. Banks must be a SUPER HERO!»
I totally agree and he’s a doctor that is focused on making your feet healthy and happy! Great Doctor and Staff. They are top notch and the best in OC for all things FEET.
