Costa Mesa Collision and Auto Painting

We took my 2012 Audi A4 to Costa Mesa Collison at a friend’s recommendation after someone had keyed the driver side door. Henry was able to get us in right away, repaired and painted the door the same day and got my car back to me the next day. It was an incredibly quick turnaround. The door looks perfect and you can’t tell there was ever any damage. Henry’s shop did a great job and will come highly recommended.

I took my 1987 Vanagon to Costa Mesa Collision for body work from an old rear end collision, rust repair and I had it painted. They walked me through what would be fixed, in detail. The work was done on time and on budget, and they called me to keep me up to date on the progress. The Vanagon came out great and I would definitely use them again.

My teenage son had an unfortunate fender bender; we ended up at Costa Mesa Collision and Henry took the time to explain what needed to be done and worked with my son to get his car fixed. A couple months ago, a friend of mine accidentally backed into the front of my car with her van, scraping off a big chunk of paint. I put off getting repair estimates because I had no idea where to take my car, I had no idea how long it would take, and I didn’t want the hassle of renting a car. I got what I considered to be a very reasonable quote, plus I was told if I brought my car in this morning they’d have it back by end of day! I had an old 1994 Camry that needed painting for my son going away for his first job with a newly wedded wife. A little going away present. But, I didn’t want to overspend on an old car with 385,000! Henry’s team does good insurance level quality work, so I was concerned that the price would be too much. I visited 3 other quality locations and they wouldn’t talk to me about a good clear coat paint job for a reasonable price. Henry listened and understood my budget and purpose. He came at ½ the amount, agreed to lessen the quality (not fix some minor door dings, more masking than usual, etc.). Car came out beautiful. If you want someone who will work with you, definitely go to CM Collision.

Henry and his team at Costa Mesa Collision & Auto Painting did a great job refurbishing my 2004 BMW 300Ci. I brought it in with a few door dings and a hood that was severely sun damaged and they made it look like it was brand new! This place sucks and takes advantage of their customers.
I use Unilocal just to read reviews, but my service here was so terrible I felt the need to say something…
Long story short: took 7 days longer than thought and never called to tell me, lied to about calling back (and admitted it), dodged my calls, ignored my messages, added $ 300 to total without telling me and «knocked it off for the miscommunication and inconvenience».
Shady, sketchy, a place that takes advantage of customers they think won’t say something.
Also, when I got my fixed and «detailed» car back, the car was a mess as they threw everything from the trunk in the backseat.
