Allspace Self Storage

I helped a friend rent here, and the staff was friendly, although they do have a lot of rules. They have a move in special as of this writing date.
They say they are open from 7am — 7pm. They don’t allow vehicles in after 7pm to leave or entry before 7am. The storage spaces are in not very well lit hallways and don’t have lighting or electricity.
But overall everything is clean and well managed, from what I can tell.

. Basically just going to say it as it is all my Christmas stocking stuffers and gifts were in my storage on Dec 24 Christmas Eve I didn’t see the sign if there was one that they closed at 5 pm. I had be in there at 6:30 at the gate opensI go to the door and it doesn’t. Gate opens at 6:30 doesn’t close till seven I need to get my gifts and all my stuff I’ve been there earlier left everything went to the hospital because I’m sick because of complications because of having 30 lymph nodes removed from having stage IV breast cancer so I’m still sick. …like I said I’m there at 6:30 I just want to get my gifts and go in my personal stuff I have no personal stuff note closed nothing to go down to visit my family in Dana point. A charge if you’re minute after 7 o’clock they will charge you $ 25 I’m there at 6:30 I’m sitting there at 7 o’clock they come out and say were closed and juicier signed while they’re here can’t they open it for me just so I can get my gifts and my stuff and go but no they call the police on me they called the police on me even the policeasked if they can if he could go out with me and help me get my stuff so I could go for Christmas tell my gift and mice personal stuff for Christmas and they said no do not rent from them I don’t know what kind of people they are I think they’re evil it’s not like I was putting them out there just laying around on their lazy asses they were right there they could open it for me whats Christmas all about. They had the nerve to tell the policeman and no I’m not I was late once and they charge me for it because it was on the time thing I was I left at 7:19 and they charge me $ 25 and then they tell the place and I’m always late will get they get their money believe me but I I wasn’t and they lied Malone everything else going on in my life thank you Merry Christmas to you too do not rent from these people they’re evil

I was helping a friend move some items. upon arrival the unit was found entered and items taken. When the management was asked to save a copy of the security info/​tape or at least back it up and provide a copy, management seemed to not care in the least about their customer.
They have onsite management but seems to care less. I viewed individuals exiting on foot who appeared to be homeless. There are a few cameras outside but none in the hallways and with a security recording system so outdated that it only records for two weeks… really… they need to have video recorded for at least six months since many people may not be able to be there monthly. They should also institute that when and if they do see a unit with a cut lock or open lock. They should immediately back up and copy video files for the owner and send/​mail them a copy just in case they need it if they find out that items have been taken.
This location seems to have a policy of «we are not responsible for the unit contents» which is crazy. No customer care or service, transnational sales not relational building…
This company does not look out for its clients in the least nor will go out of their way to assist in recovering and or helping people with information if they need to file their insurance claim…
I would go else where…
