27 Seventy Five Mesa Verde

Horrible place to live!!! No parking, the front desk could care less about you or your issues. Parking is the worst and even when there is no parking for the people that live there you can’t park in guest parking! If you do they will two you and then don’t even care that you don’t have your car. Then you have to pay for your car to get out of the tow yard (which is in the ghetto) and they won’t do anything even though they can’t manage the parking situation.
Over priced, not that nice, your money is better spent somewhere else! Don’t wast your time looking or moving in!

This review is based solely on viewing the gated portion of the property, and on the service of Amy, who took me on a tour of the property.
The apartments and facilities (pools, gym, common areas) are more like a resort than an apartment complex. Apparently they have organised events (& even cooking classes). Amy was able to answer all my questions & this place is definitely high on my list of prospective properties.
I didn’t deal with anyone else but would certainly recommend asking for Amy if you want to check the place out.

I’m moving in next month and am hopeful that this will be a place I can happily call home. I am coming from another large community that did not take resident safety seriously so that is my priority and I am not hearing or seeing issues with that at 27 Seventy Five. I like that there are the dog parks and nice pools and amenities. I am paying much less than my old place who raised the rent over 6% a year. I am concerned that I don’t see management replies to the Unilocal reviews — I think that shows good customer service. Time will tell and I will update reviews accordingly.

This has been my second year living at 2775, first in phase 1 and now in phase 2. My boyfriend and I have definitely had a few hiccups in our current apartment, however the staff has always been there to assist with any complaints or issues pretty much within 24 hours. It hasn’t been perfect, but I really commend everyone from resident services and maintenece for all of their hard work and attention. People like Vendetta, Tiana, Brooke, Bobbie, Sam, and Eddie have been so great. Apartment living can be tough, especially in a big complex, however these people are always attentive, professional, and gracious. All said and done, we enjoy living here

I love this place. I just signed another lease. When I first came here I was so nervous by seeing a lot of the reviews that my husband and I went back-​and-​forth for a month about moving in here. but we searched High and Low and didn’t find anything that compared. (we had a lot of demands-​we were looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 level, fully updated with hardwood floors and granite countertops in a nice neighborhood close to the beach for under $ 2500). Nothing in the area met our demands except 2775. We decided to take a chance and signed a SHORT LEASE just to take a chance. I have to admit I’m loving this place! It’s beautiful, peaceful, great people great for kids, great for couples, great for singles. The only thing I regret is not signing a longer lease! Because the price went up $ 300 for my renewal, (which I think is stupid, they should have more of an incentive for renewing your lease but it’s summer and the market is going up so I guess.) Anyway love it here gym is so perfect, monthly give aways, free cooking classes, yoga, fitness classes…

Working in property management, it’s easy for me to find anything wrong with an apartment. This is by far the best living experience I’ve ever had living in Southern California. The facilities are kept super clean and the amenities are top notch. Most importantly, I actually feel valued by the staff.

I moved in a week ago and so far I love the place. The community is beautiful and so are the apartments. They have tons of tenant events which is nice to meet people and have fun without having to drive anywhere. I was very worried about parking before moving in but have had no problems at all, even late at night there are still open spots right out of my door. I am not sure what the other reviews complaining about parking were about, maybe other locations have more trouble than mine, I am in Phase II. Guest parking is a little more tricky since guests need a parking pass, which means you have to go to the office and get one or print one at home. If you don’t have a printer, it would be a challenge to have an unplanned visitor after 7pm. The pass is only valid until 10am the next day, which could be a pain too.
The amenities of this community are amazing however you have to pay hourly for most of them and nobody told me that when I toured the place or before signing the lease so that was disappointing.
Overall a great place to live, I am happy with my decision to move here.

She made the application process so easy and fast for me and my two other roommates! She is so sweet and got us the apartment of our dreams. The complex is so beautiful and the apartment is absolutely perfect!

I love it here! The gym is definitely the best feature I was able to cancel my LA fitness membership :) Definitely plan on being here a while!

I fell in love with this community as soon as I saw the well-​kept grounds, beautiful trees, green grass and ponds. It has an awesome gym and a resort style pool.
Thank you to Brooke for your help in finding my perfect home. You’ve been so patient with me this whole time, going above and beyond, explaining everything and showing me around the complex. I am tremendously grateful!

To start this all off, this is strictly for the MAINTENANCE:
As I am brand new to the community as of today (just moved in) I do not want to rate the entire complex since I have only experienced my apartment so far. But I have to say that the maintenance team here at 27SFMV is excellent! When we arrived, we discovered the apartment was not cleaned and detailed. As you can imagine, this is very frustrating especially when moving into a new place. We notified the office of everything that needed to be cleaned, fixed, and replaced through the checklist they gave us a couple days earlier. Unfortunately, something happened and the work didn’t get scheduled. When we brought it to the building services dept. they assured us they would make it a high priority, and they did.
They then immediately sent their maintenance team over (John Michael, Martin, Memo, and Berna) and let me tell you, these guys did such an amazing professional job making the place look brand new and did it with class and professionalism. They even helped us mount our tv. John Michael stayed even later to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The entire time I thought he was the maintenance manager so I asked him and he said no he’s not but is working on becoming one. I said you deserve that position! He is management material and this company needs to see that. John is awesome.
So far, there is one thing great about this community, the Maintenance team! Keep up the great work guys!

I have lived here for almost three years now and I would recommend this apartment community to anyone who is looking to rent in this area. The staff is professional, engaged, and always helpful. This isn’t always the case with apartment communities especially the ones owned
by very large companies such as UDR. They definitely take an active role in making this a great place to live for everyone.
I’m writing this review because some of the negative reviews I’ve read on here are just laughable. I’ve done the move-​in and move-​out process in two different buildings here and have never had a single issue with management. Never once thought I was being treated unfairly. You know why? Because I didn’t damage or ruin any part of the apartment. Normal wear and tear is expected and even written into rental laws so you’re not going to be charged for that kind of stuff as stated in these ridiculous reviews I’ve seen.
Other complaints I’ve seen were people complaining about other residents, bugs in their place, or parking. There have been a few problem units near me and both were evicted faster than I expected. That was impressive. If you have a problem neighbor communicate with them like an adult and if that doesn’t work then you can notify management. If they are committing crime you still report it to management and also call the police. Guess what when you own a home you have to do the same thing. Shocking right?
And really bugs? Have any of you people ever lived in a house that your mommy and daddy didn’t take care of for you? You see when you own a home or any other type of property pest control is an issue you have to deal with. Sometimes you have to go to the home store and buy something to do it yourself and if you can’t do that you have to hire a pest control company and pay for it. Well you don’t have to do that here because it’s taken care of for you like everything else. All you have to do is communicate to the staff and they will handle it.
Parking? This is another childish gripe. Where in densely populated orange county can you find a place with abundant parking close to the beach, especially at an apartment complex? This issue so ridiculous I can’t even say another word on it.
I don’t see any of you guys complaining about the great amenities and numerous activities here. You surely are not complaining when you leave your gate and get a free bag of food in the morning sometimes are you? No matter where you live you will have positive and negative experiences, just be reasonable with your expectations. Don’t overlook the fact that most apartment communities are not like this and they are an absolute mess! 2775 is a good choice if you have to rent! I’ve been here long enough to know!

Not only is the staff alert, but, this is a magnificent place to live.
So, it’s an apartment! And, occasionally, you may hear a slight noise. But, love the sound of ducks in the pond! Running stream and a great breeze. My electric bill is the lowest I’ve ever had!
I’m soooo happy I moved here. One of my pet peeves is to have to wait for the shower to get hot! Not here! As soon as I turn it on, no waiting! Hot as can be! Which speeds up my get ready time!

Everything looks so nice and brand new. Nope! A week after moving in my shower started getting water stains, my bathroom mirror is broken they tried fixing it by gluing it back together. Didn’t work had to come back and fix it. The a.c. only worked in certain rooms the list goes on. After 14 months we moved out and got a huge bill… 170 for carpet cleaning, 175 to resurface the bathtub, charged us for paint, charged for paint supplies and other charges that wasn’t mentioned at the inspection before we moved out. Our statement came out to be almost 800 dollars. In the process of fighting it but looks like we have to get a lawyer. It’s nice place and all but I recommend finding somewhere else to live cause when u move they will rip you off and charge you for everything including normal wear and tear stuff.
Might I add if u live downstairs u hear everything!!! Conversations, every time they walk, when they are having sex etc…

This place has everything you can ask for, the staff is more than accomadating. Everyone makes ur experience exceptional with a cherry. Michael the host greets everyone with a smile and a kindly hello, while maintaining the standards of 2775. Tiana on the other hand is the mother figure of the apartments with a heavy hand and a sisterly motivation who keeps things running smoothly, and safely.

Ive recently attended a few resident events with my friend who is a resident. They have several resident events a month.
My first impression of the property is: WOW.
Everything looks impeccable & well maintained. The facility looks like a luxury resort.
On game night there was a delicious taco bar hosted by Michael who works there. He was very friendly, hands on, and hospitable. He made sure everyone was enjoying themselves, having fun & well fed.
I also attended movie night, also hosted by Michael with cook to order burgers like at a fancy movie theater.
The apartments are large & well maintained. Granite countertops, kitchen back splash… very, very nice. Parking is never an issue.
This is where I want to live next.

Going on my 2^nd year lease:
This place is amazing, has 5 pools, two clubhouses, community events, and little creeks that run through the balconys. We have great neighbors that look after each other … If you have a chance to meet Michael at the front he is great at bringing everyone together and makes living here even better.

Okay I was gonna get on here and go on a Kanye West rant but my wife asked me not to. Instead I’ll state facts about what I actually like about living at 27SeventyFive.
It’s been almost 2 years of residing here and the best part has been meeting Michael. (Mike) is one of the best activities coordinator I’ve met, here or in prior resort style living apartment homes. Mike has become more like family. I believe others in the community can attest to that. He’s goes out of his way to see to it that the residents are happy. If he sees you out and about in the community he always stops and greets you. He’s genuinely interested and the residents happiness. On game nights he makes sure everyone feels welcomed, no matter how young or how old, race or gender. When Mike host a community event it’s like a big family reunion. A chance to see other residents you rarely get to see. We love having Mike over for dinner, like I previously stated, he’s like family at this point.
Parking, having your car towed, not enough resident or guest parking spaces. Rent increases greater than 3%. Leaking air conditions that remained unfixed in 1 ½ years. Rude leasing staff. All of these things are gonna happen pretty much wherever you (rent), I don’t expect for it to be a we’ll run machine. I mean we are talking about humans being in control. There aught to be a few hiccups along the way right?!?
Anyhow you be the judge.
Michael, your the man! Keep it up dude.

One Maintenance guy really stands out from the rest, he’s the one that if he sees you coming will hold door open, if
He sees you with trash bag will grab it and throw it away for you, always happy and smiling, always a happy camper and just all around a wonderful and friendly.
his name is Michael Williams… He truly stands out from the rest and I’m always delighted to see him here, I just know my neighbors feel the same because I’ve mentioned it and they all agreed.
They picked a winner when he was hired, know I’ll miss him when we move… Great job !!!
