We provide an organic, fair trade espresso bar. All milks are organic with several non-​dairy options. We use Monin® syrups, THE premium with no corn syrup or artificial flavors.

We also have an organic smoothie and juice menu! Our organic berries, veggies are locally sourced when available, and always juiced/​blended to order with real, whole food. No fillers, mixes.

In addition, we have organic milk shakes, house baked scones, Ruthies® Cookies, New York Bagels®, and more!

History

Established in 2008.

Purple Moon, located just South of down town Corvallis, is Corvallis’ only organic espresso/​smoothie/​juice drive-​through. Purple Moon was purchased, by a brother-​sister duo, from a like-​minded mother-​daughter duo in early 2008. The sister half of the duo, has since moved onto different things, but the brother remains. Purple Moon’s mission is to provide a superior, healthful product while seeking out and utilizing organic, sustainable resources.

Being sustainable and locally sourced minded, Purple Moon was accepted into the Corvallis Farmers Market in 2009. Building a solar and propane powered mobile unit, Purple Moon has become a fixture at the Market as well as the Corvallis Fall Festival.

John B.

Business Owner

John is an Oregonian through and through! He lives in the neighborhood that Purple Moon resides, South Corvallis. When John is not whipping up organic goodness in coffee/​smoothie/​juice form, he likes to spend time with his two kids and lovely lady. John’s family has enjoyed turning the lawns/​landscaping at their house into beautiful gardens that produce lots of organically grown food and beauty. John is also an avid disc golfer and enjoys fly fishing in our state’s rivers.
