Established in 1971.

Owen Dell & Associates was founded in Santa Barbara, Californa by Owen Dell in 1971, originally as County Landscape & Design. Owen came up through the ranks, starting with small residential landscaping and maintenance projects and gradually working up to larger and more complex jobs over time. Owen’s decades of hands-​on experience as well as his encyclopedic knowledge of the field of landscaping and his strong commitment to sustainable practices add up to top value for clients. Owen Dell & Associates delivers economical, efficient, beautiful projects that are more than just less bad than conventional landscapes; they deliver services beyond their cost and are a net benefit to the environment and to the property owner. Owen’s work has been featured in dozens of books and magazines, and he is widely respected as one of the pioneers and leaders of the sustainable landscaping movement.
