History

Established in 2004.

Kitty Meow Meow Pet Sitting began late 2004 and has been operating in Corvallis, Oregon since 2006. Over the years, Kitty Meow Meow has developed long-​lasting relationships with loyal clients and their pets, a very fufilling and rewarding aspect of the business. :)

We currently have 300 clients, over 100 regular clients, some of whom have been with us for nearly seven years!

We appreciate so much the unwavering dedication and support of our client base, and all the love and cherished memories provided by the beloved pet friends we have made throughout the years. :)

Hello! My name is Heidi, and I am the full-​time owner and operator of Kitty Meow Meow Pet Sitting. I grew up loving and cherishing animals, and after running a small video store for a couple of years, I decided I would take my learned business skills and combined them with my love for animals, and hence, Kitty Meow Meow was born in 2004.

Kitty Meow Meow has been serving the Willamette Valley for 10 years. We have experience with all kinds of animals, including special needs pets. Our small team (we feel more like family!) is made up of conscientious, thorough, and dedicated pet sitters who seek to ensure that the needs of both you and your pets are taken care of with the utmost professionalism and love.

For peace of mind, we are insured and bonded, and offer daily check-​ins and photos :)

I am so glad that I chose Heidi to care for our 4 cats and 1 cockatoo during a week-​long vacation. It was so nice to get daily updates and pictures of the critters! With her reasonable prices and expert care, I will be recommending Heidi to all my critter-​loving friends who need a reliable pet caretaker! I will certainly be using her again the next time I go out of town again!

This is an update of an earlier 5-​star review. Heidi already has our highest recommendation for pet sitting. On our last trip our male cat sustained an injury and Heidi was very conscientious in taking him to the vet twice and watching over his recovery. The vet was very impressed too, and told me so twice! Heidi and her staff are both conscientious and very loving, and Heidi approaches her business as a calling. She is also careful to communicate with us about all the details of daily cat life. We have gone on several trips since beginning to use her a couple of years ago and she has been fantastic each time. Highly recommended!

I recently had Heidi and her assistant Julie care for my 3 rats, which one of them needed many medications and care. They were very professional and would give me updates on how they were doing. Very accommodating and affordable pricing for pocket pet boarding. Will be using their services in the future!

I can’t say enough great things about Heidi. She is professional, thorough, and very, very loving. We have eight cats that tend to go a little stir crazy if we are not around for more than a day or two. A recent trip to San Francisco had us away from our home and our feline children for 5 days. We returned to find them very relaxed and seemingly happy. Each day she sent us a detailed email about how her visit went and how the cats behaved with her. I recommend Heidi without reservations and will use her from here on out when we do any traveling.

Not only is Heidi Sterling thoroughly professional and extremely conscientious, but she is a true cat person. I share another reviewer’s surprise about the sole negative review… that does not sound like the actions of an animal lover such as Heidi.
With the exception of members of my immediate family, I would not trust my cats with ANYONE but Heidi!

Updating my reviews:
We have used Heidi’s catsitting services for years. Each and every time, she has left detailed notes with each visit to our cats; she has called and texted us during visits to our house with even slight concerns over our cats’ health. She is deeply caring, conscientious, and always goes above and beyond what we ask of her. Her empathy for the kitties is amazing! I am surprised to see a negative review written here; I can only guess that it must be a mis-​remembering of an event. Heidi is not the kind of person who would treat care of animals casually; she would cause herself pain before she’d endanger a pet.
It’s always risky hiring a stranger to care for pets, but we feel safe leaving our cats with Heidi. On many occasions, we have had other friends and relatives stop by – not with the intent of checking up, but to help entertain the cats. We always received reports back of Heidi on the job, cheerfully keeping our babies healthy and happy. Heidi was not expecting these visits so certainly wasn’t trying to keep up appearances.
We have hired many pet sitters over the years. There have been many bad experiences. We’d be satisfied (if not thrilled) for the minimum, i.e. a sitter keeping the cats fed, clean and moderately sane. Heidi cares for our neurotic herd as if they were her own. We feel VERY LUCKY to have found her!

Heidi was amazing from start to finish. I was gone for one whole month this Christmas and when I got home my cat didn’t even seem to realize I was gone. Usually when I get home after a long trip my cat seems like she missed me so much and is freaking out. Not this time though. My cat was in good hands.
Throughout my trip, I never once had to worry about my cat. I got emails with pictures of my cat every other day while I was gone and with a description of exactly how she was doing. I couldn’t be happier with Kitty Meow Meow. She came over on the interview visit with a clipboard and wrote down every detail about how best to take care of my cat. She was organized, thoughtful, nice, and I felt good about her being in my house. She even watered my plants. I couldn’t ask for more from a cat sitter.
Most importantly, I feel that the price is worth it. Sure, I could pay a friend less, but I know my friend won’t be there for 30 minutes, playing and cuddling with my cat every other day. Also, Heidi bought my cat a laser pointer to play with her and she left it with us as a Christmas present from Santa Paws. I trust Kitty Meow Meow and am so grateful she is here to serve Corvallis.

We went out of town for three days and entrusted our cats to Kitty Meow Meow’s care. It turns out that she did not come to our house and give our cats food or medication for the entire time because, as she said, one of her cats was sick.
It’s unbelievable that she thinks it’s appropriate to allow cats to go without food and medication. Since then, years later, I have only trusted people I know personally to watch my animals.
I strongly suggest you find a reliable pet-​sitter, which is NOT Kitty Meow Meow.

I can’t recommend Heidi enough!
We were in a jam, planning to take a vacation without a neighbor or a friend available, but Heidi and Kitty Meow Meow totally saved the day! A thorough and professional consultation before we left was reassuring, going over details that in the routine of living with your feline companion that you don’t even think about! She also asked if we wanted her to check in with us during our 2-​day vacation, which was awesome.
We received a text each day letting us know that she had been at the house, and how our cat was doing, which both was really cute and put us at ease. Upon our return, we had an EXTENSIVE summary of how the visits went and one very happy cat!
If you ever need a pet sitter, you can sleep easily if you go with Kitty Meow Meow! Thanks again Heidi!

Excellent pet sitting service! Heidi, the owner, is very thorough. Rates are reasonable as well. I found Kitty Meow Meow by googling «Corvallis pet sitting» and was a bit hesitant to use a pet sitter without knowing anything about them. But after our initial meeting with Heidi to discuss pet care before we left for our vacation, i felt very comfortable leaving my pets with her for the weekend. We came home to very happy pets and a complete report of how they were while we were gone. At our request, we could even get an e-​mail halfway through our trip saying the pets were doing well, which was a great bonus. We’ll use Kitty Meow Meow again, definitely recommended!
