Since 1983, David Macpherson has been solving legal issues for small business owners and individuals. With the exception of criminal law and family law, we have exceptional experience in virtually all legal matters. This includes all aspects of starting a business, its daily operations and winding up. We have extensive experience in real estate, insurance disputes, landlord and tenant, leases, land use, intellectual property, personal injury, ADA access compliance, wrongful termination, construction law and mechanics’ liens and contracts. We work with all industries; however, we have been particularly successful with restaurants, bars and nightclubs including Alcohol Beverage Control matters. If your matter involves a dispute that cannot be resolved through a generous application of common sense or mediation, we have litigated hundreds of lawsuits in all of the San Francisco Bay Area courts.

History

Established in 1983.

During the three years of law school, David Macpherson served as a law clerk to San Francisco Superior Court Judge Frank Shaw and the firm of McGuinn, Hillsman and Palefsky. Thereafter, in the first decade of practice, Mr. Macpherson gained experience litigating airline casualty and insurance covergae matters, construction defect cases and consumer class actions. Currently, David Macpherson solves the broad legal issues that face small business.

Business Owner

David Macpherson was raised on the San Francisco peninsula. Prior to attending the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Mr. Macpherson worked as a wilderness guide with the Outward Bound Schools in California, Oregon and Colorado. He was also a sporting goods sales representative traveling the 13 western states. Since 1983, he has been a trial and business attorney with offices in San Francisco and Marin County.

David Macpherson lives in Marin County with his wife and young daughter.
