The Fancy Puppy

If I could rate this place no stars, I would. This place just wants to sell these poor puppies that they would not even bother to explain the breeds temperament to fit the customer’s needs/​wants. The puppy we bought had parasites and the Vet they told us to go to gave us a clean bill of health. Makes me wonder if that Vet is running some kind of scam too. The loan company they use is also scamming people of more money than what’s agreed upon. And when I called they have no answer or explanation as to why the loan amount shows much higher than what it’s supposed to be. No apologies just said I can’t help you right now… seriously?! This place needs to be shut down before more people get scammed out of their hard earned money.

Do not buy a puppy from this store. Plain and simple. Many people have reported their puppies having parasites even after a check up from their affiliate pet hospital. It was only after taking my puppy to our trusted pet hospital on Euclid in Chino that we found out she had parasites.
Lastly, their finance plan is a complete scam. I was given a fraudulent remaining balance. They couldn’t even give proof of where the remaining balance was coming from. It made no sense why I was being charged over 100% above what I actually owe. Their only response was, «I have no idea why that is, that’s just what it says» and «I can’t help you right now.» as he was too busy trying to sell someone a puppy. Please, this is no way to conduct business.
This store needs to be shut down.

Buyers beware!!! Do not be fooled by the 5 star ratings because this place actually gives a customer a discount if they give 5 star review. First of all, the people that are selling these puppies should inform consumers about the chosen puppy temperaments. 99% of the time, consumers walk in and are just so enamored by the puppy’s cuteness that they don’t know what they’re getting into. Just like if we walk into a store looking to buy a pair of running shoes, the sales people will tell you which ones are good for your particular need, right? I mean that’s just good sales etiquette. This place however, just wants to get rid of their puppy merchandise that they will tell you anything to get you to buy the puppy. They don’t consider the consumer or the puppy’s needs at all. You end up with an unhappy customer and an unhappy puppy. Some puppies need more attention and patience more so than other puppies and if they end up with a customer that is not patient with their type of temperament, what do you think is gonna happen? And don’t even think of getting a loan for these expensive puppies because that too is a sham. The promised loan amount isn’t what you pay for. They change the principal loan amount to a much higher amount for who knows how and what, and that doesn’t include the 25% interest rate! Beware buyers! Think very hard before you buy a puppy from this place. The whole place is a scam!

Now I’m getting BS from the insurance company about reimbursement. They tell me that there was a hold up with the shop authorizing the payment. they also said that the check were being printed out that same day and would be mailed out. Well it’s been a week and still no reimbursement check for medical bills. 6÷08÷16. So far everything connected to this business has been very shady. People open your eyes and read the reviews. It’s a red flag to buy a pet from this place…
I purchased a teddy bear puppy 4 weeks ago. The 2^nd day I took her to their vet for a medical exam as required by the warrany. When I bought her they supplied me a clean bill of health. Upon a fecal exam the puppy tested positive for giardia parasites. The vet put her on medication for 10 days and then a repeat of the fecal exam was done. Well she tested positive again for the same parasites. Again on medication for 10 days. Another fecal exam and positive for the same parasites. This time I went to the store pretty upset and concerned for the puppy health, that we have grown attached to now. I was given the number to the owner who took immediate action and told me that he would call the vet and have the medication put on their account. Keep in mind each fecal exam is $ 45.00 and the medications are around $ 45.00.
Now to see if the medication clears her of these parasites. I’ll update.
4−24−16 $ 300.00 vet bills later Nina finally tested negative for Giardia. I’m still waiting to be reimbursed per their warranty. I’ve submitted bills timely and still no reimbursement. Checks. Over 60 days already. This place is so shady !!! Don’t spend your money in this establishmen

Update: and why didn’t I read the other reviews prior to purchase… completely my fault even when asked to leave a positive review to knock some of the price down. My puppy also has the parasite but it’s pretty common with any puppy. My complaint is I was mislead with the financing. I was told three years to pay off through American finance. I had to sign on my iPhone through docu-​sign. Hard to read what I was signing and I trusted what I was told what the finance terms were. Payment was taken out of my account a week later without my knowledge. I figured a month like any other normal finance company. I called the company and I was told I do not have three years but 90 days. After 90 the interest goes to 118% interest. I would basically have to pay $ 12,000 for a dog.
Buyers beware do not make the mistake like me and read carefully what you are signing for.

just adore the fancy puppy! The staff is so friendly and patient while trying to decide which puppy to take home. The décor not to mention is just like the name «fancy!» I recommend the fancy puppy for your next new family member.

Everyone knows who have been looking for a puppy how hard the decision it is to make. There’s price for one thing, then there’s the breed, then there’s everything else! With that said, The folks at Fancy puppy are very accommodating with our situation. Not only they had given us the military discount, they were very patient with our decision process. It literally over 2 hours to decide of what we wanna do. Very good service and would recommend them to my friends

This place doesn’t even deserve a star. I recently got a pure bred corgi about two weeks ago and it got sick the second day it was home. This place is sketchy and try’s to milk you for all you got. As much as there is so many good looking dogs, it is depressing, they are locked up in kennels with Multiple dogs crammed in together. The kennels weren’t even clean! This place is disgusting.
Btw my corgi got kennel cough and has been on antibiotics for 10 days. (I went to my own vet, in which he informed me that he has had other dogs brought in from that place that have been sick with other disease as well) Oh, and on their warranty and customers legal rights they state to make a claim within 15 days if the dog gets sick so you can get reimbursed for the medical bills. Oh yeah, the corgi was $ 3529, so overpriced but I love my little pup. I called and the lady didn’t do shit neither did the owner about the problems with my puppy or the reimbursement of medical bills. They are scam artists. This place is a puppy mill that treats their dogs like crap and in horrible conditions. Don’t be fooled. OHHHH AND THEY DEDUCT $ 200 OFF THE PRICE OF YOUR PUP IF YOU WRITE A GOOD REVIEW.
This is not the last you will hear from me «Fancy Puppy» ! Class Action Lawsuit coming your way. I know other angry customers will join because of horrible establishment that should be put out of business.

Do not buy from this place at all. To begin with they do not take care of the dogs in sanitary ways which causes puppies to catch diseases. Poor puppies sleep in their own feces. They will ask you write a good review for 100 $ off your puppy, DONT DO IT. This place is a bunch of scam artists. I bought a puppy there and my puppy got sick 2 DAYS later. This place should be closed down immediately. You’re better off buying off Craigslist or penny saver for a cheaper price !!! They preach a bible verse by John on their front door, but are a bunch of lazy hypocrites with really crappy attitudes. Once again, DO NOT BUY !

Just got our Puppy from here. He is so sick !!! Also has a heart murmur ! He is on 3 types of medication and this store is a joke! Took out a loan to buy this puppy and he is so sick!!! They shouldn’t be in business !

I just got the most adorable, handsome, playful and healthy French Bulldog! He’s perfect!

On ⁵⁄₄ I purchased a puppy from this store. Upon making my purchased I was promised and guaranteed that my puppy would be in 100% health. Within the purchasing contract I was required to take my puppy to the in house vet within 3 days. I took her on day two ⁵⁄₆. During this appointment I was made aware that she was very sick with Kennel Cough, although very common in puppies it can be fatal if left untreated, which she was. She also tested positive for parasite. ($ 35 Fecal Exam, $ 36 in medicine) Within the next 48 hours her health started to deteriorate to the point where my poor little 9 week old pup could not open her eyes or even lift her head. On my contract it lists an «emergency help line» in case of anything wrong with my puppy to avoid rushing to the ER, I did so and it was an ANSWERING MACHINE! So obviously now my first thought is to rush her the vet on ⁵⁄₉. $ 65.00 walk in fee, and $ 50 in medicine later the on call vet stated she may have parvo. We are waiting for the tests to come back for that. meant while I’ve complained to the store and have been waiting for 72 hours now for either the store manager or owner to give me a call back. Lack of response and lack of guarantee. Animal abuse/​neglect. I am now stuck with $ 200+ in vet bills and medicine and a puppy I don’t know will make it through the night. Thanks fancy puppy for overcharging and under-​caring for these puppies. Buyer Beware.

They sold me a sick puppy, I’ve taken two weeks off of work so far that cost me, and I’m also being slammed with thousands of dollars in vet bills. Not only do I have a sick puppy but my two year old is also sick. They say they’ll reimburse for the puppy but not my two two year old. In 60 days I should see the reimbursement, but I’m broke now. Thanks Fancy Puppy!

We purchased our dog from The Fancy Puppy today. The store manager is awesome and was beyond helpful. We love our new fur baby! The store was very clean, well kept, and didn’t smell like a pet shop it smelled really good. All of the puppies appeared to be in clean cages and very playful. Great experience!

They sold us a sick puppy knowing she was sick and their answer is we will reimburse you. When you have a ridiculous vet bill come up less than 2 weeks in and they will reimburse you in 60 days it doesn’t cut it. Never again will I buy from a pet store. Sick puppies and they don’t care at all.

Okay, puppies and store are clean, friendly staff, but very disappointed in their wordings for the sale of expensive puppy types. After several text communications with their live chat services, we were told the store offers a 10 year health guarantee on any puppy-​which isn’t what you think… health issues must be determined to be congenital and found within the puppies 1^st year, there after any health issues after the 1year, the store offers, 50% payment towards paid vet services, and only on congenital findings.
2. We were told a female goldendoodle-​was papered, and again once we fell in love with her, in the store„ asked for her parents information, we were informed the store actually had No parent history on the puppy at all, and did I tell you she was $ 2,687.00 without papers, and no guarantee as previously mentioned. …so we had to leave her there… to much money for a none papered, none gaurnteered puppy, so glad we ask questions and take our time… will continue looking…

First time having a puppy and the service was absolutely great! Josh is a great salesman and does all he can to help. Very clean place and the puppies are all so energetic. I love my new corgi. Lisa j’s Unilocal was a total lie and she obviously has a hidden agenda. I was there this morning looking to replace my beloved Pomeranian who died last year. What I found was happy and healthy puppies of all stripes, the female Pom we liked was happy, friskier and by all standards appeared well taken care of. ALL the cages were clean and there was no bad odor anywhere. I was also impressed with the mandatory hand sanitizer requirement before we could handle any pup. While we couldn’t come to terms on the Pom puppy, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Went in there to check the place out and see the puppies. The place reeked of feces! Almost every cage had poop and pee in it, and all the workers were sitting around on their phones. I asked to take out a Great Dane they had in a cage. A guy brought it out. super cute. I asked to see pictures of the parents and it’s litter, they could not provide it. Why would anyone spend that amount on a dog if you can’t verify its health and looks. He insisted they all come from USDA breeders, which in layman’s terms means the breeder is legally allowed to pump out puppies from cages of dogs and sell them to pet stores. AKA PUPPY MILL!!! I feel terrible for these dogs and people that spend this money on them! When I was done playing with the puppy the guy went to grab it and the puppy was afraid of him. Which was strange bc it was very sweet and happy to see everyone else.
Buy a dog from a REPUTABLE breeder or adopt. When you can’t see the parents in person that’s a HUGE RED FLAG
