This place is amazing. Service is always great and welcoming. I’ve had the molcajete 2 times and tried some other items everything is delicious so far. Best bacon wrapped shrimp I’ve ever had. Plus 2 $ beers during Lakers and Clippers games.

How more people aren’t mentioning the live singing is a mystery to me.
On the weekends, they have Spanish singers, which you think for a Mexican Restaurant would be really nice, right?
WRONG!
They keep their little amp turned up to the highest possible volume. You literally have to scream at each other across a small table to have a decent conversation. The waitresses who took our order was a perfectly friendly screamer, and we could almost hear her explain the menu.
Ear phones suited for a gun range are needed to eat here on weekends– take out is even difficult because you have to walk inside & have your eardrums blasted from from your body the second you enter.
Oh you want to know about the food? Sorry, I couldn’t hear you. The food is really good if you want a quick Mexican food fix, but obviously it’s overshadowed by the fact that I’ve now gone momentarily deaf.
I’m not sure if the music is played additional days during the week but don’t worry, you’ll probably be able to hear whether or not it’s playing from a mile away.

First time here and I absolutely LOVE this place! I can’t believe I haven’t been here before! Service was great and food was even better! I had a large shrimp cocktail and the bf had the spicy garlic shrimp, which he absolutely loved! Prices are good too! I gotta say, this place has some of the best micheladas, man! I’d stay away from the coronaritas, however. Pretty great menu selection for whatever Mexican food your heart desires. Overall, 2 thumbs up.

We are local and decided to try this place out because of the good reviews. We were immediately confused by the good reviews because this was one of the worst mexican meals that we’ve ever had. As a rule we stay away from large chain restaurants but sadly we would have rather gone to the El Torito on the other side of the freeway.
I had the shrimp enchilada and chile relleno. The shrimp enchilada had absolutely no flavor and the shrimp were very small, dry and were not fresh. The chile relleno was soggy and it also lacked flavor. I only ate a couple bites of each before calling it quits. The only edible portion of my meal was that rice and beans.
My girlfriend got the spicy garlic shrimp. Her shrimp was also small, dry and not fresh. The day after she was not feeling well and we believe that the shrimp was the cause.
We will not be going back. There are so many good Mexican places to go in the Riverside/​Corona area, I don’t understand why anyone would choose this one. I would have given them a 0 if that were an option.

I’m not one to take the time to write a review, so I’ll make this quick and simple. Two words! Food Sucks! Save your money and your time. Don’t bother!

The campechana cocktail has no flavor it’s just water with a lot of cucumber and a couple of shrimp on the very top to look like it has a lot. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
The service wasn’t that great either. I asked the server a question and she rolled her eyes at me.

Best camarones al mojó de ajo! Ice cold Modelos and a jukebox filled with jams to set the mood. Servers are very attentive too:-)

My Buenos comida me encanta el ceviche. Los trabajadores son muy respetosos y Los precios baratos.

This place is da bomb… Nah just kidding this place blows… salsa sucked balls. Shrimp wasn’t devained and lacked flavor. Only gave me 2 tortillas for a whole plate of beans and rice. The dishes were all dirty and you could see the stains. The waitress also forgot to give us straws, I had to get up and ask for some after 5 minutes of waiting for the waitress. Not coming back. Suck it mariscolandia!
Also, what the hell is up with the dirty ass carpet? I had a mint under my shoe! I got a feeling Plankton would serve better food at The Chum Bucket. PEACE!

Great food at a great price. Very family friendly environment. Recommended to everyone that enjoys great Mexican seafood.

Me and my wife along with our best come here often and every time we come here the food is always great just like the service, we highly recommend it.

Wanted to give this place a try since it was so close to home but was quite disappointed with my experience. To start off, the place looks pretty «vintage» inside to be nice. We were promptly greeted as we entered and served chips and salsa, but the salsa just tasted like blended tomatoes no real taste.
The service was nice and I wish I could have said that about the food. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, a shrimp burrito, and shrimp empanadas to give everything a try.
The shrimp in the cocktail tasted weird and the cocktail juice it was in was bitter and tasteless.
The shrimp burrito was a wet burrito and had shrimp, beans, and rice but taking a bite there was no distinguishing taste between any of them.
Lastly, the shrimp empanadas tasted as if they were previously fried and then refried for my order which made them gush with oil as you take a bite.
Overall, I am not a harsh critic when it comes to trying new places but this place was truly a disappointment. They honestly should try to remake their recipes to taste more fresh and maybe try some seasoning.
It’s sad to have to say this knowing that it appears to be a mom and pop shop but gosh, really? Sorry won’t be going here ever again. I would much rather drive to Ontario to El Pescador, real flavorful food.

Worst seafood place ever!, chip salsa tasted bad, food had no flavor. Ordered a la diabla shrimp plate and that sauce wasnt spicy at all, it tasted like soup broth. Place looks dirty and outdated. Don’t waist your money there!

The service was fast. but the food did not have taste. I ordered a Campechana, and it tasted like water. My wife and son got Mojaras fritas and they did have any flavor. We tasted the salsa of the champs and it did not have flavor plus we tasted the salsa of the la diabla sauce for the shrimp it tasted like soup broth I would not recommend this restaurant!

Very good seafood, and the portions were huge! My sister got the shrimp quesadilla, I got the shrimps enchiladas and my husband the shrimp cocktail.
One thing I loved about this place besides the taste was the fact that they don’t skimp out on how much shrimp was in each of our dishes! Aaaaand they didn’t charge me extra for sour cream!
Why not five stars? Unfortunately the restaurant is somewhat dingy and dirty. We sat under a couple of the neon signs, which had, oh I’d say a couple years worth of dust sitting on the wires and bulbs. To think it looked bad out there sometimes makes me question how clean the kitchen is. But I will definitely be coming back :)

Place is very dirty they really need to clean this place! I got the Ceviche and jaiva tostada and I did not like it… they put chopped up black olives in the tostadas? Flavor wasn’t there for me… I gave 2 stars because the Karaōke/​Dj is very good…

Not a great experience. I did not like my fish taco (very little flavoring) or my shrimp ceviche (bland and gross). My bf’s bacon wrapped shrimp was OK (slightly overcooked) but nothing memorable.
Staff is very nice and welcoming. Chips and salsa are good.

I always drive by this place and always wanted to try it since its a seafood joint. My girlfriend and I was craving for a fish burrittto and thats where my sadness begins.
Our fish burrito was wack. The burrito easily fell apart. Worst part was that the fish were soggy, as if it was boiled or grilled. Maybe thats how they make it? I like my fish crispy in my tacos and burritos.
I think they were having karaokenight, who knows… but the mexican music was straight blastin. So loud I couldnt even talk to my lady. Maybe it was to distract how bad our food was.
I’m giving two stars because the service was good and I didnt have much money to tip that night.

Born and raised Corona, California and I had never eaten here until after I moved to Las Vegas. This is now our «must eat at» restaurant when we come into town to see family.
Our first experience with the restaurant was a late, after hours night. I had called them to see their hours (we were craving Mexican) and the owner was kind enough to take our orders and have it ready for us when we got there (9:20. They close at 9) We had a wonderful conversation with the owner which made me enjoy this restaurant even more.
We share the campechana, mixta tostada, and an extra shrimp tostada. The mixta tostada is a lot of seafood! There’s no skimping and I usually end up eating the rest with chips. The campechana is delicious and having a boyfriend who will send food back it’s nice that he actually enjoys the food. (That’s a damn good sign)
The service is fine. Nothing extraordinary but she was very sweet.
For authentic, FRESH, delicious Mexican seafood I would definitely recommend this place. Making me hungry just thinking about it

This was my first time trying out the restaurant. The interior wasn’t too appealing. The waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive to everyone’s needs. We ordered a platter which consisted of three different types of fish and shrimp plates. Included in these were tortillas, beans, rice, and your choice of more side dishes. The food was delicious and cheap.
