Dr Chan was very professional, knowledgeable and suggests only what you NEED. Not too pushy to «up sell» unneeded exams. Highly recommend him and target optical!

Everyone is saying Dr. Chan great but based on my personal experience, I wont be coming back for his services.
To give you some idea of what I went through, the prescription for my left eye was wrong. Chan and the employees were willing to help fix the problem which is awesome and I commend them for that, but after 4 visits and $ 140 wasted on incorrect contacts, anyone in my position would become frustrated.
What I’m still wrestling with, and perhaps someone can help answer my question, is why was my trial pair contacts lenses perfect, but my glasses and the contact lenses I ordered so incredible off? What happened? Did Chan not record my prescription correctly during the exam?

Dr. Chan was patient with both my kiddos and made my 4 year old daughter’s 1^st visit a pleasant one. Took her back for a 3-​month follow up & she let him dilate her eyes without a problem.
We would go back even if we didn’t have the convenience of shopping in Target.

Really great staff, very helpful, attentive, & informative. I’ve had glasses for a good 19 years and contacts for 16 and Dr. Chan was a very pleasant trip to the doctors for me. I can tell you now that this office offers quality work that you can trust to be fast, friendly and great quality.

I’m coming in to get my eyes checked. Let’s be specific, my left eye. I shy away from going to any type of doctor because I work with them and bedside manner means a lot to me. However, Dr. Chan has a very welcoming demeanor. He smiles when talking with you, and focuses his attention on the questions you have. I’m currently waiting my turn in line as I am a walk in with no appointment. He was very accommodating, and you can tell he clearly enjoys his job. The office space is very clean and aseptic. The chairs are a comfortable wait. The paperwork is very straight forward.
It was my turn to be seen and Dr. Chan listened to all my concerns and did a super thorough assessment of my eye health. He explained everything in detail. The overall process was very quick and painless. The price was $ 80 out of Pocket (I’m cash paying, the do except insurance) for eye assessment and dilation. WORTH EVERY PENNY FOR PIECE OF MIND! I look forward to many more check ups. Thank You Dr. Chan!

This man is the epitome of Target in the best way! Courteous, professional, and fun; no gimmicks, no up sells, and modern equipment. And the ladies that helped with glasses are awesome and so much fun. It’s a pleasure to go and get glasses. Furthermore Target has made literally 90% of the frames insurance friendly! Leave it to Target to win me over again!

Dr. Chan is the bomb dot com. First of all he has a great sense of humor but still remains professional. I walked into Target to get a sandwich and a red bull next thing you know I’m getting my eyes dilated and new glasses because my night driving is getting a little questionable. He explained everything in English not in medicalese checked me for the diabeetus as well as high-​blood pressure and other stuff. Overall I’m pleased with my exam and how comfortable I felt asking him any question regarding my eyeballs. If you need a nice doctor to check you eyes he’s the man for sure!

Dr chan and staff were wonderful, he was sweet with my two little ones and very thorough with us. We enjoyed him and will be back next year for our checkup. Trasi was also helpful with choosing our new eyes.

Dr Chan and staff are by far amazing. They went above and beyond their duties. They were all friendly, prompt and were willing to help without hesitation. Dr. Chan made my daughters feel so comfortable and did a great job on their eye exam. Definitely recommend him to everyone.

I have been dreading getting my eyes checked. I knew I would need glasses and also feared an internal eye exam based on some family eye issues.
Dr Chan has a great personality making it a very pleasant experience. He has a very vibrant personality and the whole process was enjoyable. Even though he confirmed I needed glasses his manner made it a positive experience.
