History

Established in 1982.

Cornelius Paint & Body was established as the first auto body shop at Lake Norman in 1982 and is a family owned and operated body shop offering auto body paint and repair on all makes and models. We started with the idea that our customers are at the heart of our business and should get professional quality work at affordable prices and we have never changed from this philosophy.

Our pledge is to establish lasting relationships by exceeding expectations and gaining trust through exceptional service by every member of our professionally trained staff and to maintain the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, honesty and fairness in our relationships with our suppliers, associates, and our customers.

Business Owner

Ron Young is the owner of Cornelius Paint & Body Shop, he has lived in the Lake Norman area his entire life where he and his wife work together to make their business successful, not just for their family, but for their community as well. He is a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School and is very involved in his community where he supports his local high schools and children in need. Ron has worked in the auto repair industry for over 30 years, he is honest, dependable, and will always go above and beyond for all of his customers. Ron abides by one simple business principle: «Provide Excellent Service

at a fair price» It is Ron’s desire to serve his customer’s needs with the finest workmanship available, at the fairest possible price. No job is too small or too large. He understands that people want Value, Service and Quality for their hard earned dollar.
