I am so mad with my hair cut, it was NOTHING I asked for. Granted I was late and it was my first time being there so I couldn’t find it. Once I did it took a while to find parking. I made an appointment with Adrian and he said he would be rushed so he had the owner do it. He kept saying how long my hair was and to cut it short, I kept saying no. He didn’t know English so I showed him photos of what I wanted. He cut about an inch and a half to two inches off and showed me if that was okay. I said yes that is perfect. He butchered my hair, Now after all is done it looks about 5 inches shorter, I don’t have bangs like I asked, I have a straight cut when I asked for a V. I AM INFURIATED. Waste of money, I have never had my hair this short in my life and i am so mad I’m fuming. I would love my money back because they can’t make my hair grow back. I should have never even paid to begin with. I’m not paying for someone to do what they want, I’m paying them to do what I want, and it is nothing what I asked for. Not one thing. I wanted to wait before I wrote something that maybe it was the way it was blow dried but it wasn’t, It is far from what I asked and wanted so under those pretenses it is the WORST haircut I have ever gotten.

This is my second time coming here, but this time with Adrian. I loved how he made my hair look. I went there with my mind set of what I wanted, but Adrian explained how everything works and set expectations since the beginning. I accepted his suggestions and was not disappointed. I will come back to see him to continue this work-​in-​progress.

LOVE, LOVE this salon! Monica did a phenomenal job dying my hair to a darker blonde. Make sure you get your hair curled, she does it so well. My hair felt and looked amazing after! So happy with my experience I will definitely be recommending people and returning myself! :)

Obsessed! This was my first time at studio chroma and thank gosh I found Anthony through Instagram. he is amazing! I explained to him what I wanted and he nailed it! I got balayage and a cut done and will never go to anyone else!

Antony is a hair genius. He transformed my hair and without a doubt I know I’ve found my hair stylist! I can be difficult and I know what I like and he made it happen for me. I honestly have had hair problems because I can’t find the right stylist but he has changed my outlook and really went above and beyond. Thanks Antony! I love my hair and my new found confidence.

Monica did an amazing job! I came in with a complete disaster and was totally freaking out but she stayed calm said «we got you» and proceeded to make my mess into a masterpiece! Great job Monica I will be back!

I could not be more pleased with both the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the way my hair turned out after Natalia’s touch.
I went into the salon with fried to bits bleach blonde hair courtesy of another salon. Natalia took her time with me after I mentioned what I had originally wanted and advised me on what would be best for my hair given its current state. We agreed on an overall color and method and she informed me that given my hairs condition and state it might be a two time process and that I would have to try my best to be patient (which is great since most hairdressers will try to push you into liking what they created the first time around even though they know it truly doesn’t look like what you asked for). After color correcting my hair and waiting another two weeks, I am more than satisfied with the overall color.
The salon was extremely welcoming and the staff was super friendly and professional.
If you’re looking for someone to give you honest advice and leave you looking like your best most natural self then Natalia is your go to person!

Fantastic experience at Studio Chroma.
It was my first time going to this salon and no complains. I went for a cut and blow dry and my beauty specialist was Monica. She was absolutely amazing, very friendly and skillful. She understood exactly what I wanted and must say she did an amazing job! I am very satisfied and definitely recommend the place!

Adrian is amazing, I was too scared to go light and I absolutely love my hair. Plus all the compliments I receive! Plus you get to sip on wine while waiting to look fabulous :)

I went in for a bayalage with Natalia. I am completely disappointed with the results. They suggest I curl my hair and so I went for it. The hair looked awesome with the curls but a couple days later I had to wash it. So I straightened my hair. It looks terrible. Completely disappointed.

What great energy and ambiance this salon has! I went in for a blow dry on the day before Halloween. Everyone was dressed up with amazing make up etc. I loved the spirit!
They were on point with service and treatment.
I had a nice wash and my blow dry cam out gorgeous. Not to mention they had a great special going on. I’m definitely going back. It’s a nice affordable gem in Coral Gables.

I HAVE RECENTLY RELOCATED TO A SALON SUITE IN CORAL GABLES FL. But as a previous stylist at Studio Chroma the work that comes out of this small salon is Five Stars!!! They know how to do hair, especially color and balayage!!! They are also experts in color corrections. I learned a great deal of hair knowledge from the staff. I learned specific color techniques to personalize each client. I also had the chance to take further education courses with the other stylist. Although I’m not a snobby hair dresser I like to have fun and crack jokes at work and stay humble and casual!!! I had the oppurtunity to do so here as well. This place is awesome!

My experience at Studio Chroma was the best salon experience that I’ve ever had.
The salon is clean, modern and nicely decorated. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I was treated very well and everybody was nicely dressed and very friendly.
My stylist was Vanessa and she did an amazing job. She took the time to listen to my desires and to go over the colors with me. She asked questions and listened until she was sure that she understood what I wanted. She did a beautiful blonde balayage which was exactly what I wanted. She explained what my expectations were based on my hair type and was very knowledgeable. I’m very happy with her service and recommend her to all.
Overall, I had a great experience at Studio Chroma and will certainly be coming back for my next hair service!

First of all, Tristan gave me the best scalp massage of my life during the shampoo. At that point I didn’t really care what happened next but he proceeded to give me a fantastic haircut, despite me repeatedly moving my head to steal a glance in the mirror (and I wasn’t peeking at my hair). He was very responsive to my requests and remembered details about my first haircut with him from months prior. His attention to detail was impressive — It’s obvious he’s passionate about his craft. As someone who hates small talk and usually loathes that aspect of having one’s hair did, I can actually say that I enjoyed chatting with Tristan as he worked his magic. Also, he didn’t talk so incessantly that he mindlessly chopped off too much, which is sadly a legitimate fear based on past experience. I walked away feeling relaxed and confident.
TLDR: If you want a handsome, charming fellow to give you an amazing scalp massage and haircut for $ 40, then you should probably make moves to Studio Chroma and ask for Tristan.

I decided to change my platinum blonde hair into a dark blonde or cooper color. I made a lot of researches on Unilocal to find a 1. Good Hair salon, 2. Very good hairdresser for colors 3. Location Miami.
I clicked through Studio Chroma’s Unilocal pictures and decided that Natalia is the one I want to go to.
I made an appointment and I was super excited for my new look.
On the day we met she recommended me to slowly go darker in my hair color, so I can adjust better to my new look.
She convinced me with that and we made lowlights and highlights. We also used the Olaplaex treatment that my hairs don’t get so many damages.
The color came out stunning. I am very happy with my hair color. It looks so natural! And it has really no breakages.
I LOVE MY NEW HAIR COLOR! I am very happy I found Natalia.
I will go to her definitely again.

This review is specifically for their stylist Tristan. He has been my stylist for over the last year and I have always left very happy. He listens to my VERY vague direction and I always leave happy. I basically let him do whatever he thinks will be best and I have never been disappointed. I have naturally very dark hair and insist on being a blonde. He keeps my hair feeling very healthy and does not over process it. I highly recommend requesting Tristan. I also recommend trusting him and giving him free range.
An added bonus, he makes the time fly by with his witty banter and funny stories. You won’t be bored with him AND he gives great scalp massages!

I was looking for a good salon where i could get one of those nice balayages that you see in all the magazines. apparently chroma studio seems to be nb 1 top salon in Miami.
I called to make an appointment around 1 o’clock. Nobody answered, went to voicemail. Left a detailed message, a week went by, NOBODY CALLED ME BACK. I went online and spent 15 min to make the appointment and put my credit card info. When i call the day before to confirm, a gentleman answers and tells me that Natalia refuses to do my hair because it was previously permed. It is ridiculous how such a professional hair salon would turn away clients without even a brief consuktation or a strand test. I did not even get to say that it was a year ago, weak perm. And intent to use Olapex while doing. A subtle balayage.
If this is their best professional stylist at work, then thank you but NO!

Overall phenomenal experience at Studio Chroma! My expectations were far exceeded and the customer service was spectacular! I am spreading the word about this place! Tristan is very professional, friendly, and takes his time to make sure each customer feels valued. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!
