Butt + Legs
This class will help you build and develop curves in the lower body. Each class is unique and contains circuit style workouts.
Upper Body
These classes focus on toning the muscles in the upper body. It’s important to have total body conditioning to prevent injury and offer you the support you need for heavier lower body lifting. These classes involve low weight /high repetition circuits.
Plyos + Abs
This class is our fat burning secret weapon! It involves full body circuits done with body weight or light resistance. If you attend this class you’ll be participating in jumping exercises, ab circuits and our personal favorite: sprints! Don’t worry; this class can be modified for every fitness level.
Plyos + Abs on the Sand
One of the components of the fit and thick program is to gain and increase muscular stability, which is a fancy way of saying, «gaining more control of your body and balance». Taking the workout on a different terrain requires you to use more stabilizing muscles than if you were to do the same workout in the gym.
These workouts typically involve partner exercises and are a fun way to challenge your body.
History
Established in 2013.
Being fit isn’t about being a specific size, shape, or body fat percentage; I believe that being healthy and fitness oriented comes in all different forms and that women should be able to express their passion for health without having to conform to a certain stereotype. My goal is to motivate women to set realistic goals for themselves and then to provide them with the tools that they need to achieve those goals.
We practice moderation and enforce proper technique and form. The Fit and Thick movement is such a motivating and inspiring campaign for women because it allows us to drop the expectations that society places on us to fit into a certain body type and allows us to be fit and healthy in our own shapes. All the women who partake in this program have different and individual goals, but we all share in one central and superseding goal, and that is to love the skin we’re in. –NM
