I’m actually writing a review for my procedure. I’m unsure if whether all of these reviews are genuine or not, but I’m actually a Unilocaler so I will be leaving my own.
I had my breast augmentation with silicone implants including a mastopexy (breast lift) on January 14^th. Having this procedure was pretty last minute as my boo paid for them.
My coordinator was Emily Ron. She did get back to me as soon as possible as I spoke to her in 2014 about having the procedure. She quoted me for $ 5,000 and told me that in order to lock in the price of the procedure, I had to leave a deposit of $ 500. I paid for that immediately as I had my guy pay for the rest of it in person.
When I arrived at the surgical center, we went into the financing office to pay off the balance as well as pick up my prescriptions that I would need for my procedure the next day. The women at the front desk were very nice, friendly and did answer all of my questions to the best of my ability. I was VERY nervous as this was my first surgical procedure I’ve ever had before. Mind you, no one except for him knew that I was getting it done.
My surgical procedure was for 2p.m. the next day. I was told to shower and clean myself with antibacterial soap as well as Hibiclens solution. I was told to refrain from eating or drinking for at least 10 hours before my surgery which I did. I stayed at a recovery home which he paid for as well. He would’ve had little clue to as how to take care of me.
When I arrived there on the 14^th, the woman who was taking care of me drove me to Spectrum. I arrived there at probably 1:30p.m. I was very nervous and excited about having this procedure. I was also very hungry as well. I did nor end up having my procedure until 6:30p.m. that day. This is almost 18 hours without eating. My blood pressure was very low as (it usually is) and my temperature was very high as well. The anesthesiologist and the nurse had to take my blood pressure and my temperature at least five times each.
As I’m waiting to have the procedure, I meet the surgeon who was very friendly and polite. He knew exactly what I wanted done without having to go into such big detail. He took his marker and marked where he would be lifting the areolas as well as the inframammary folds to my breasts. I told him that I used to have larger breasts before and although I didn’t have such bad back problems, I did have problems sleeping on my stomach so I did not want implants that were going to be unnecessarily large… I wanted to be around a D cup. He went with 350cc under the muscles. My areolas were also reduced. I thought they were small but because I wore a 32D in bras prior to the surgery, I said fine.
I did not get into the operating table until 6:30p.m. and I did not fall asleep until around 6:40p.m. The IV was painful and I did have a radial shock in my arm. It actually does hurt where the needle went into. My nerves were so bad that I asked if I was going to wake up and the anesthesiologist said «that’s the plan.» I went to sleep right after that and the next thing I know is that I’m in recovery with my eyes half open and the pain was 11 on a scale from 1 – 10. I was yelling at the nurses «I need drugs, I need drugs.» Lol it was horrible. They took me and put meninnthe wheelchair but before that, they dressed me as I was basically immobile in my arms. When I saw my guy, he laughed at me a little and told me «you wanted it done so that’s the price you have to pay.»
As I was picked up by Keyla (whose recovery house I stayed at) she and her husband helped me into and out of their car. I didn’t pick up my prescription, but the last thing I remember was my guy telling me to get some rest as he saw me before he left for the next day when he was going back to NYC. I could barely walk and I woke up hungry… I was actually moving around midnight.
The next day, I was moving around and I met with my doctor for my first post op appointment. He said I’ll be pleased with the size that he gave me. I thought they looked small although I did not touch or look at them until I was able to shower. Saturday was the worst day. I could not move or do anything. I wanted to stay in the bed. Keyla and her husband had to help me into Walgreen’s for my prescription. It was horrible.
I suffered burning on my breasts and I believe they were from my incisions. I needed help getting off of the bed every day until I got back home. I did gain weight from eating as I was so hungry. I was also bloated from the anesthesia. I did not feel nauseous until I got on the plane back home.
It is major surgery so you can not go back to your daily routine for about for weeks!

I had a bbl done September 28 by Dr. Omulepu, he did an AMAZING JOB! couldn’t be any happier, took out all the fat from my stomach and back its so flat!
Today I am 9 days post op and I feel great! Took out my drain yesterday and feel even better! He is such an a professional Doctor, so sweet, to the point and nice! Was so excited to meet him when he walked in couldn’t help but smile and he was so nice started filling my boyfriend and I in with instructions and after care. Was so detailed he took out 2L from the lipo and injected 2000cc in each cheek! He told me he has 200 left but it just wouldn’t fit in. That is one of the things that stood out to me and was very satisfying after the surgery, I had told him I was concerned about how big I wanted if and he did he best to shape and fit in as much fat as possible!
Overall had an AMAZING experience with him
And defiantly will be going back to see him for a boob job in the near future!

Yazna was the most helpful and post operative check up member at spectrum. She was so helpful with everything from the day I got there I met her and she was able to guide me and tell me what to expect given that I was out of town from California. She was able to assist me with questions that I had and concerns as well as the doctors. Two days after I went in for surgery I was told to go get a lymphatic massage by her and so I did I set up an appointment got my massage and it was the most relaxing experience after having had surgery. When I got there I hadn’t eaten anything that morning so she had my boyfriend run down the street to Burger King to get me something to eat because she didn’t steal that protein was a very important part of my diet. She was so kind and patient with me given that I was a younger client I didn’t know what to expect taking off my garment I was scared and she told me not to worry that everything was going to be OK and she just eased the whole experience. She started doing my massages and I started to feel like I was going to faint because I had taken off the garment which was put on the right after surgery and I hadn’t taken off yet to my body was getting used to it. Then she proceeded to do the massage she gave me some pineapple juice so that I would have some sugar in me while my boyfriend went and got me my egg and sausage sandwich. She answered all the questions that I had even if I had already asked for them she explained to me as many times as I needed them to be explained she gave me so much reassurance and she was so loving. The next day I went back for another massage and again the same thing she was very helpful I can ask for anybody better to give me a massage and for anybody else to guide me and give me reassurance and the support that I needed after having had surgery. Throughout the whole massage she made sure that I was comfortable and that I felt OK, she would consistently check up on me and asked me how I was doing and if I was comfortable in the position that I was in and she gave me tips on what to do after she gave me her phone number and her email which was super helpful because now four months after surgery I still keep in touch with her. She has been the most helpful person at Spectrum Asthetics and has answered all my questions up until this day. Even last week I asked her if she could look at a picture that I had sent her of something that was concerning to me and I wasn’t sure if it was normal or not, she proceeded to text me back within minutes and told me that she would ask the doctor as soon as she saw
was so nice to know that I had somebody that I could connect with instantly and make sure that I could get a quick response from the doctors. She has been an angel to me! If any of you go to Miami to do any kind of cosmetic surgery I highly recommend that you go to her to get your lymphatic massage is or even if you don’t do your surgery at spectrum I highly suggest getting in contact with her and seeing if she can possibly do your massages. She is the absolute best! I LOVE HER!

Consult was to start at 9 am i came early and now 40 mins later I am still sitting in a waiting room that looks like a frat house with people laying on couches. The ugly black poofy pleather couches and two of the rudest receptionists at the front desk make you realize the lack of care. This place was set up like a 3^rd world in and out chop shop plastic surgery office. After inquiring about the wait and what was going on the waiting room i was told the doctor that i was supposed to be meeting with had a SURGERIES SCHEDULED AT THE SAME TIME OF MY CONSULT AND HE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A SURGERY. So the doctor plans on doing consults mid surgery??? I got told they would see how far along he was coming so I should wait… Ummm please dont interrupt your surgery for my consult. If I were the patient I’m sure I’d be just so damn trilled know my surgeon had to stop mid way or had to rush because another consult was in the waiting area. This whole initial meeting left such a unsavory taste in my mouth i expect if you were to have a procedure with them they would probably treat you with the same lack of professionalism or courtesy. Just left and so their «company van» which is used to transport patients and no surprise the van is in need of a make over (just like the office) because that old broken down mini rape van is sketchy beyond every possible level. I’m going to avoid mention the parking situation because that was a mess all to it self

I’d like to personally thank dr. omulepu for the new body he gave me. the staff at spectrum was courteous and to the point. no b, s. no beating around the bush, and they didn’t try to squeeze extra money out of me. dr. omulepu did my bbl December 2, 2015. the liposuction was aggressive and I have great contours in my body. I feel more confident and my clothes fit better. I’m already preparing my body for round 2 just because I have a Lil bit of booty greed… lol thanks guys for everything. see you in August hopefully everything will run as smoothly. Mira b.

While I was searching online I saw a video on YouTube of DR. Omulepu performing a BBL and I decided to contact Spectrum Aesthetics for an online consultation. My coordinator was Jessica Garcia, super knowledgeable, sweet and very helpful. She answered all of my questions and made the process very smooth. Dr. Omulepu works wonders and the other doctors too. They have a great team here. Everyone is so nice, they make you feel welcome every time. It has only been 2 days since my BBL and I’m already bringing my sister & mom to spectrum. Recommend it 100%. Here you are in good hands.

I was on the line for almost 20 minutes on hold (probably more if i just hadn’t hung up) just to try to get a letter faxed to my doctor so that i could recieve leave to have my procedure and still have no letter! Some of your staff is very rude and if I hadn’t made a non-​refundable deposit I definitely would take my business elsewhere to Encore and still had my procedure by Dr. Omulepu. Its ridiculous.

The Spectrum Aesthetics staff and Dr. Mel Ortega are hands down THE BEST. After having a rough 3 years with medical illness I treated myself to a cosmetic procedure. I booked with Lizbeth, flew down and stayed a few days in A recovery house. All I can say is the staff at Spectrum is professional, friendly and competent. I had my consult with Dr. Ortega on the day of my surgery, he explained i would need to be worked on in 2 phases for the results desired. Dr. Ortega has 25 years of surgical experience. He is very caring, honest and funny. He made me laugh and broke the ice, relieving my anxiety. I am so happy with my results and will see him next week to have my stitches removed and book my phase 2 procedure. He had to reconstruct me in order to maximize my results. If you are considering him please do not hesitate. The staff, the facility, and the surgeons are top notch. I also met Dr. Omelepu and he is also phenomenal. I love the staff at Spectrum.

This clinic is phenomenal. I must say we have gone here several times with my girlfriend as she wants to get breast augmentation done. On our visits we have met numerous patients from Dr. Ortega and LLORENTE that are tremendously happy on how their operations went. This motivated her into having surgery with Mel Ortega. I must tell you that she was tremendously frightened the day of operation and she just wanted a full c cup no bigger than that. I will post a picture on how well she looked after so you can see how great full we are. Go Ortega!

I would like to thank Spectrum Aesthetics for being part of a very important journey for me. I’ll be as detailed as possible with my review knowing how delicate it is to decide such a decision as surgery .
I followed them on IG (the social media team is quite responsive) for sometime before deciding to email them, within half an hour I received a phone call & was consulted about my options, the surgery I wanted (TummyTuck), Prices, Surgeon of Choice, out of town patient concerns, she really covered it all & referred me to Dr. Rami Ghurani, we then decided upon a deposit amount & I received my Surgery Prep packet & lab request within 24 hours .
Within my 4 visits (from consultation to post –op check ups) each level of staff was pleasant from Anesthesiologist to the Surgeons assistant Christie (she’s a one man show, even massaged me out of an anxiety attack) lol. I am very happy with my choice of choosing spectrum, I am very happy with the work Dr. Ghurani has performed ! I look forward to seeing them for my future reconstructive & cosmetic needs.

Took my girlfriend in for a consultation, horrible service! They scheduled her for 10am with dr. ortega we where there for over an hour and she never got see the dr because he was in surgery. Mediocre office environment. The front desk staff is not helpful at all! Over horrible experience

I had my breast augmentation done 4 weeks ago and I love my results. Dr Ortega was amazing!!! He took his time explaining my size options and calming my fears. He is such a sweet heart. His office staff was friendly and my medical assistant Claudia was super helpful throughout my post op visits. Thank you guys!

I been a client with Spectrum for over a year; I been receiving treatment for a hormonal imbalance and my experience with the staff, doctors and nurses have been incredible. They are very knowledgeable, professional and have guided me and treated me with the upmost level of professionalism. I truly recommend it to all my family and friends. DONT RISK YOUR LIFE HAVING SURGERY WITH THIS FACILITY!!!
Today I spoke with Juan Hernandez from Dr Ortegas office who ask what he can do to make me happy. When I explained the situation (AGAIN), he was pretty dismissive and told me all I can do is have another surgery to make my butt round. Isn’t that what I went in to do to begin with??? When I explained to him that I had a serious problem with bacterial infections (which I currently have a third infection as we speak which I have a PICC line in my arm and am receiving vancomycin twice a day for 14 days from home with a visiting nurse) and was too afraid to put my life in danger with another surgery, he said «then there’s nothing we can do for you. We will not consider giving you any sort of refund. Your results were never promised. You have to wait 6 months to see results.» I asked why is it the women on your website before and after we’re not 6 months after their surgeries, yet they had a round butt. He could not explain why. I asked if his pictures were false advertisements. He pretty much dismissed my question and told me there’s nothing more he can do to help me. I will be reporting them the the BBB and having them investigate these Unilocal reviews for validity. I think these are all friends and family reviews.

So lets start off by saying they have good docs and great pricing! Now lets talk about how unprofessional there staff is! I been dealing with Spectrum Aesthetics since june of 2014 i made my apt to have a BBL in jan of 2015 after endless emails and calls dealing with Vivian Rodriguez so i was like great I’m booked for jan 2015 Wrong… Vivian calls me in December 2 weeks before i flew out and had my hotel booked and flight to tell me she gave my date to someone less at this point i had with her and asked to speak to a manager.
so i started dealing with Christopher Ron told me how sorry he was for the inconvenience i been
he started dealing with me asap and liked how he was handling my case how my dated booked for march of 2015 and made me feel at ease so after dealing with all the stress i dealt with Vivian i was like thank god I’m have my date of corse i lost money on my hotel that was book but the airline told men i can use my ticket within 1 year of the date purchased i was like cool i don’t to buy another flight. So on march 10 2015 i get an call from Christopher telling me i need to make a deposit for my surgery so in my head i was like WTF i made a $ 500 deposit with Vivian back in jan of 2015 and he looked into it and was like sorry for that i do se you made it on the 14 of jan sorry
2 hours later i get an email telling me if i don’t pay the surgery in full by today that i would lose my surgery date and deposit so i called asap and i told him i let Vivian know i was going to pay the rest in cash and that was fine thats the whole reason for the deposit is to booked you in for the date and time. again he’s tell me I’m sorry mind you this is one week before my surgery date on the 14 of march that fell on a Saturday and I’m flying out on Thursday the
i go to my doctors office and do my own blood work and had my doctors office faxed them over tag this point I’m all ready packed and booked for a 3 week stay in fl.
so the day before my surgery i was called and told i can’t have surgery and they had to cancel it because my blood work came back and didn’t meet the requirements i was pissed at this point because i leave tomorrow and wasn’t trying to lose out of all this
Christopher told me i can refund your deposit or keep it up to a year of the date it was made so i wont lose it so i was like fine hold it because i still want to go ahead and have it done once i get better.
So 3 months go by and i sent them a few emails and called to do it all over again and guess what guys more BS! so now i asked for my deposit back and now heres where the issues start i keep getting hanged up on getting the run around and told that i was refused 350 because there charging me 250 for the lab world when i went to my doctors office then being told i never had a date or never made a deposit to being told that they don’t do refunds. but I’m a you tuber and i do daily vblogs wear i record my daily live for all my you tubers and i was documenting this journey of my life and every thing from the email to the calls wear filmed.
so since i have all this on file I’m taking further matters!!! and uploading my nightmare with
Spectrum Aesthetics and the hell i have been put through by them and i hope my video reaches beyond all my you tubers and all my trans sisters to let the world know how unprofessional this place this because what i have on filmed is going to hurt them more then my $ 500. and once i have my video edited i will up load the link xo

I had a BA with Dr. Osak Omulepu in April of 2015. I love my results and the prices are unbelievable! With that being said, If you’re looking for a facility that will treat you like an important valued patient… this is not the place to go. I endured a lot of stress and hardship trying to coordinate my surgery date and paper work. I was from out of town and traveling by myself and almost didn’t get my surgery after flying to Miami from Minnesota. My calls were never returned or answered and after being tired of never getting answers from my coordinator I started calling the facility ALL THE TIME. I received a call from Ruth, the medical assistant, the day before I was supposed to leave for Miami telling me I needed to redo blood work even though my coordinator already had told me that I was good to go. luckily, I was able to go to a Lab the same day and re-​do my blood work and spectrum got my results the next morning. After arriving to Miami and going to spectrum to get my surgery time and prescriptions I was told that my PAYMENT WOULDN“T BE ACCEPTED. My boyfriend put the charge on his credit card and we sent the paperwork via email. According to my coordinator, this was an acceptable way to pay for the surgery. Spectrum told me I couldn’t use my boyfriends card unless he was present, but he was all the way in Minnesota and I didn’t have a credit card or a debit card with that amount of cash. So I ended up having to sit in an office with three strange men speaking spanish around me and I literally had no Idea who they were or what they were going to do with me. They didn’tt even introduce themselves and made me feel like I was a criminal. They basically told me there was nothing they could do but wouldn’t take no for an answer. «I FLEW THOUSANDS OF MILES TO SIT IN THIS CHAIR TO BE TOLD YOU WON’T ACCEPT MY CREDIT CARD. BULL SHIT» and I told them this was their fault. Finally, I came up with the idea to have them record a conversation of my boyfriend giving his bank authorization for me to charge the surgery. They initially weren’t even going to let me do that but I pretty much freaked out on them, and I never raise my voice or object to «policies» but I was so mad that they allowed me to charge it over email in MN but then they totally changed their policy on my way to miami??? Anyways… some of the office staff were nice, some of them are rude and condescending. Seeing Omulepu and talking to Peter, the anesthesiologist, really calmed my nerves. I tried to stay optimistic throughout the process but it was really hard to do with the customer service I was given. If you are on a budget and really need to save money, this is the place for you. but if you have another Two grand to spend, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Hopefully after Omulepu gets his certification, he can move on to a more reputable office. This place makes all of the surgeons look really bad.

Let me start by saying I’m very happy I found Spectrum. I was looking for a cosmetic clinic I can trust and feel at ease with and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I had a little trouble with my blood work and unfortunately has to postpone by surgery by 2 weeks but with the teamwork their staff had it all worked out for me. Dr Ortega has made me one happy woman for the first time in a very long time, I feel confident again and I’m loving my shape. I had a Brazilian Butt Lift done on March 5^th with Dr Ortega and I was expecting a bigger butt, however he is an over achiever because I never thought my waist would be so small. I took about a week off work and had some difficulty driving at first but I worked through it. Thanks to Spectrum Aesthetics, my surgery coordinator Jessica, and of course Dr Mel Ortega for making this happen for me.

I can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Ortega and the staff at Spectrum Aesthetics. As an out of state patient, I was nervous regarding the experience. However, from the time I stepped off the plane, to the day of surgery and post-​op everything was great. Dr. Ortega gave me the BBL results I was looking for. I look great and feel great about the entire surgery. Thanks again!

At 25 years of age my friends thought I was mad to get a butt lift surgery done. And now that they are all jealous of my sensuous booty! I have always been a fan of technological advancements and I love the idea of cosmetic surgery because it corrects what age incurs on the body. I decided to give cosmetic surgery a shot and settled upon getting a Brazilian Butt lift done. My buttocks did not feel as plump as they used to be and I knew that age was taking its toll on me. I had read reviews about Spectrum Aesthetics and it all seemed positive so I decided to try my luck. Thank god it worked. Dr. Ortega, my surgeon turned out to be the nicest doctor I have met so far. He is knowlegable and keep you very aware of every step in the process of the surgery. He and his team are there for you to help you recover from the surgery. Post operative I had some soreness in my butt and a bit of pain as well. But with some care and medication it was taken care of and I am extremely happy that I took this gamble. It is a very professional center to opt for in the cosmetic surgery industry. I’d come back if I want to do another procedure.

I am here in their movie room while waiting on a friend of mine to have a breast augmentation procedure. I had to come with her because she wanted mental support. Ok so they treat me right while waiting. The parking place is packed will be the only downside I can say. But I get to watch their free streaming movies on the iPad they provide while waiting. Aside form the movie room. And my friend gets her new breast. Win win for everyone.

I just had my breast augmentation with Dr Ortega! How amazing.. This is the best, most humble doctor I’ve met so far. I had consultations with 6 other doctors, and I honestly believe he is the most caring and sympathetic doctor. Really experienced and very professional. My boobs look insanely perfect. Considering the mess of breast I had before surgery (tubular breast deformity) Dr Ortega has surpassed my expectations.
I’m also very greatly for the staff, they all seem to get along and work together very well. The anesthesiologist (can’t remember his name) was so sweet, made me feel extremely comfortable. And the patient coordinator Vivian. I love her, super nice. I felt she was with me every step of the way (as if she was my friend) Always answered the phone and any questions I had.
Overall amazing experience. Would highly recommend Dr. Ortega to anyone looking for high quality service and care.
