History
Established in 2013.
Although Tom Yum Kung Thai Restaurant has existed in the same location for many years, it has had a few changes of ownership. My wife and I bought this restaurant and assumed operations in April of 2013. If you haven’t tried Wilawan’s cooking yet, you are really in for a treat!

I am medically retired from the Army, after 10 years. I’d always enjoyed working in restaurants before enlisting, so it’s nice to finally have my own place. It’s really more my wife’s place, though. I just do my best to support her and take care of our customers!
My wife Wilawan is the heart and talent of our little restaurant. She was born in Thailand and learned how to cook from her great-grandmother, who lived to be 124 years old! She’s worked previously at Club Hood, where she learned to prepare a very wide variety of dishes, from finger food to gourmet entrees. She has certificates from the finest cooking school in Texas. Don’t worry about the menu. If you want anything at all that we can find the ingredients for, she can make it better than you’ve ever had it! I’m so proud of her!
