Coos Bay Transfer is an Regional LTL freight delivery company serving the Southern Oregon Coast between Florence and Brookings. As a proud partner of TP Freight Lines we are able to offer next day service throughout Western Oregon and Southwestern Washington. We are also able to utilize a broad network of National Carriers ensuring that our customers are able to find the most competitive rates possible for loads going anywhere in the world. Our professional delivery drivers work on building direct, specifically tailored, relationships with their customers in order to best meet that customers needs. Our flexible fleet of vehicles allows us to offer services that our competitors cannot. Specializing in First Mile/​Last Mile, White Glove, Residential, time specific, you name it we do it! We also perform fulfillment, storage, and palletization!

History

Established in 1997.

After being contacted by his wife’s High School friend at a Class Reunion, Jim Cahill, opened Coos Bay Transfer acting as the Southern Oregon Coast terminal of TP Freightlines. The relationship has been successful for nearly 20 years now.

Meet the Manager

Manager

I grew up moving household furniture in the summers, eventually becoming a local freight delivery driver. After returning from college at Oregon State University in 2005 I re-​joined Coos Bay Transfer as an Assistant Manager and was promoted to Manager in 2007. At this time I am still the acting Terminal Manager, but also have become the Corporate Vice President. My experience in all levels of this company allows me a valuable perspective that I hope shows up in the service that we provide. I am dedicated to building the relationships needed to allow businesses to flourish, and allowing our drivers the ability to react in real time to customers needs. I can also say that our delivery drivers are the heart and soul of this company for whom I have extremely high expectations, expectations they constantly meet and exceed.
