Established in 2010.

Bay Area Mailing was designed to be a «homey» place where customers would feel free to sit and chat while having their packages weighed, measured and shipped. Joanne & Steve found Coos Bay quite by accident, fell in love with the area, and opened their business in 2010.

This shop is totally what I expect from my «shop local» business. None of the impersonal mail service of the Big city. Joanne is a treasure. Make sure your not in a big fat hurry and take a little time to enjoy the moment. This is real down home charm, with all the reliability of the other guys. You’ll get full service and reliability in a friendly, quaint atmosphere.

Weird story time: I was married here. My husband is active duty military and overseas. We wanted to get married but couldn’t be in the same place at the same time. So, we found out we could have a double proxy marriage in Montana. It required me to have something notarized and overnighted. Bay Area Mailing does both.
