My property manager had a HVAC service company come out to inspect my heating unit. This company stated that there was a crack in my heat exchange and needed to be replaced. The property manager then scheduled Omega Air because they dealt with the home warranty. Their technician came out and said that everything was ok. I strongly voiced my concern to the property manager because of the 2 different answers that I was given. He installed a Carbon Monoxide detector in the attic to be on the safe side. A couple of weeks later the property manager scheduled another appointment for a second opinion. Low and behold there is a big crack and I was told that it was a very dangerous situation. The technician at Omeg Air put my entire family at risk and this company should not be in business!

This is the worst unprofessional company that I have every used. This company gave me a contract to pay for installation that my home warranty company did not cover. We went over the contract several times with 2 different people from this comapny before making the appointment for the installation and agreeing to the contract. Several days later they called and stated they gave me the incorrect agreement and if I do not sign the new agreement under the new terms they will start the process of uninstalling my unit. Final outcome, the new agreement was not signed and the actual financial company called me and said he wouldn’t sign it either. I advised that I had contacted an attorney and the financial company agreed with my decision and stated that the original contract will be accepted. Finally, my warranty company called them and advised this comapny that they needed to come and install the thermostat and they never showed. I called and the owner (Joseph) claim they never received the order. I know they did because the warranty company gave me an appointment time that the company had made. Joseph was still asking about the new agreement and I explained that it’s settled with the financial company and if he had any further questions and/​or concerns to speak directly to the financial company that they had the agreement. Like I always say; if you dont have a problem with a company they will always be rated a 5 star, but one that is unprofessional for any reason doesn’t deserve to be rated.

It should be –5 stars. I have to agree with every other negative reviewer. Deceptive, incompetent, lack of communication, and then threatening if you try to dispute a deceptive charge. Thank goodness the warranty company covered most of the charges, however, my guess is they mislead the warranty company as to the actual problem because the technician was just guessing. I was charged $ 189 for electrical modifications to replace the external condenser. No «modifications» we’re made. They simply disconnect the electrical cables (3 wires) and reconnected them to the new unit. Start to finish, the issue took them about 5 weeks to resolve over the month of July. Every time I asked someone to call me back, they did not. The only time they called me was to collect their bill as soon as the tech left the property. If you have a choice, call someone else. If your home warranty company selects them, ask for a different company. Joseph wants your money and likes to waste your time. He’s not interested in provided quality service at a reasonable price. Just my two cents.

Save yourself some time and energy and just take $ 1500, catch it on fire, then call the second HVAC company out to fix your original problem. Omega will frustrate you beyond belief with not showing up for appointments or trying to arrive when your probably ready to go to bed. Their employee Cliff will give you a nice patronizing attitude followed but a crummy job to your system. You then get the pleasure of never being able to get anyone on the phone to come fix their mistakes. So please take my advice and call a company who isn’t in the business of rip offs.

This company is horrible and has deceptive practices. Omega was the service provider used by my warranty company. The first appointment the technician diagnosed the problem and said I needed new parts. It took 3 weeks to get them back onsite to do the work. The technicians that installed the parts were different from the initial technician.
After completing their work, I asked them did they complete everything and they claimed they did. My out of pocket was $ 1200.
The AC worked fine for a couple of weeks but then stopped working. Called warranty company and they sent out Omega again. A new technician arrived. I asked if everything was installed from the last visit. He said yes and that it was another part and made a minor fix but it should be ok.
Two weeks later, same issue!!! This time I asked for the original technician that diagnosed the issue. He quickly saw that one of the parts was never installed. He was furious and so was I.
This company does half the work, enough to get the AC working but charges you as if they do it completely, which is why they keep having to come back.
Stay AWAY!!!

Omega was the company my warranty company contracted to fix a problem with my AC unit. At first, I was skeptical because of the negative reviews. However, I could not have been happier with the results. The tech was a few hours later than I was originally told, but the office stayed in touch with me and informed me of the problem. The tech was professional and explained the problem I was having. Everything was running great within an hour.
Just speaking for my personal experience, no problems. Would use them and recommend them to friends.

Unfortunately this is who my home warranty company sent out. We are on the 3^rd visit and my ac is still not working. I called have called several times and each time I have been told someone will be out the next day but no one has called back to set anything up. Additionally, after the first visit I was told my evaporated cool was rusted due to a bad drain line. The cost to fix was $ 150. Upon the next visit all that was done blow the sediment out of the line. $ 150… Really? It’s in the mid to high 80s this week and a blast to sleep without ac.
**Update**
After 4 more visits (7 in total) my AC worked for a few hours then stopped. The issue here is the lack of knowledge of the technicians. I had at least 6 different techs come out and although they got it up and going it wasn’t fixed. I called my home warranty company and once again asked for a different company to come out and thankfully this time they granted my request. The issue, the wiring to my blower motor was connected wrong causing the motor to freeze up. You live and you learn, but our reviews and go with someone else.

My recent experience with Omega heating and air was horrendous. The entire process from start to finish could not have gone any worse.
My original repair was performed late June ’14 and 60 days later I experienced the same symptoms and failure from before. Omega showed little urgency in coming back out and did not show up on time. There was ZERO communication from their office in regards to an arrival time.
Technician arrived with no information about my previous repair and did not have access to the previous repair until I explained and provided a copy of my previous work order.
After diagnosing my concern, the tech assured me the parts would be ordered and dispatch would contact me the next day to set up a time to come back out.
I did not hear back from anyone in their office for over 3 days at which during that time I called the office several times to only get forwarded to the service manager on duty (Joseph) who assured me dispatch would reach out to me the very next day. No call, no email, nothing until I contacted them again. After speaking with the front office clerk that had no information about my claim I requested to speak with the manager on duty. I then spoke with CJ (operations manager) Who understood my concerns and assured me they would get right on it and advise the status that very evening.
CJ left me a message stating the tech was already at my house and fixing the A/​C while I was at work. Well the tech was NOT at my home and no one had come by. I left CJ a message stating this that evening.
No call back the next morning. I left CJ several msgs and finally received a call that afternoon. He assured me the repair was going to be fixed the next business day. The parts were never ordered and in fact were in stock this whole time.
Technician shows up the next day to repair. Completes repair in a little over an hour. Rushes off without testing unit and setting t-​stat. A/​C started blowing a small amount of air through vents and had a very foul burning/​plastic smell. This continued until the unit shut down and A/​C was completely inoperative.
I immediately called CJ to address my issue. He showed very little concern and stated he was in a meeting and he wasn’t the service manager and cant answer any questions I had. I requested the service manager call me. NOTHING and I still have yet to hear from him.
Tech came back out 4 hours later without me receiving a call from the service manager per my request with CJ. Found that he didn’t bolt down the blower motor securely and in turn the fan quit blowing etc…
Absolutely the worst experience, horrible customer service, poor communication, lack of urgency and horrible job by the management team in regards to assuring additional concerns wouldn’t happen after 3 failed attempts.
Shouldn’t all repair technicians verify their work is complete and performing as designed before leaving a client without an operable unit? Shouldn’t this be the case when providing any type of repair service.
Omega heating and air has a long way to go in order to build a respectful reputation. This is a mickey mouse company!
STAY AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS!

We had no heat on our less than 1 year old unit.
Tech showed me a very small hose that had holes chewed in it.
He also said a vale was bad, I thought also chewed.
Fixed heater and as he was about to leave I asked for old parts.
He started back peddling, I asked again for it. We went to truck and after 5 mins couldn’t find it. He said it must be under house and said «If you have any more problems call us» I said «I’m having a problem now» 2 mins later he came to the door and gave me a part. It had no chew marks at all. I tested vacuum switch with a meter by sucking on stem and switch made contact on my meter. Unit is less than 1 year old and as warranty that should cover broken parts and this part works and has no rodent damage. Watch these guys like a hawk, the pat they gave looked used. They may have changed a working unit to get this. Make them show you how they know its bad.
Better yet call an honest repairman if there is such a thing anymore.
