We had the big stink two early mornings in a row. Left voicemail for two companies on a Sunday. The other company never called back. Mark came out, identified the probable hole, and set the first trap Monday. Two skunks were trapped by Thursday. Mark answered our questions and kept in touch by text and phone. Phew — we needed to be rid of those skunks and Mark did the job. We appreciate the professional and courteous service.

I am so glad I found these guys! As much as I am an animal/​bird lover — poop on my car, house, windows, children toyes, dog food doesn’t get me excited. Unfortunately Danville has a huge pigeon problem — they are calling my home theirs and making me pack my bags. I called around a couple bird control/​removal companies and settled with my neighbors recommendation on the bird and bat removal company — (they treat the whole complex and gave reasonable rates). Anyway — the good thing is that you don’t have to take a whole day off to wait for him to show up — (I hate cable companies) He asked for the detailed instructions and what the problem is and he took care of it while i was at work! (the pigeons are outside of the house after all so its not like i have to let him in or wait for him the whole day). Anyway — no more birds and my back yard is clean.

We have pigeons roosting on the roof of our new home and they’re crapping everywhere. It’s pretty terrible.
I called this guy on a Saturday and scheduled an appointment for 11:30 a.m. on the following Wednesday. He said he would give me a courtesy reminder call on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. At 10:45 on Wednesday morning, I still had not received a call so I called him to confirm he was till coming. I got no answer and left a message. At 11:15, I got a call from him and he said that there was some raccoon disaster that was apparently more important than my pigeon crap disaster and he wouldn’t be able to make it out to my house until Friday at noon. Because I’m desperate, I agreed to the new appointment time.
On Thursday, I got a text from him confirming that he would be there for our appointment on Friday.
I am writing this review at 3:20 p.m. on Friday. This dude never showed up. I called him and left a message. I texted him. He has not replied. At this point, the only excuse I can imagine for unprofessional behavior of this magnitude is that the raccoons have won.
What a waste of my time.

I called and Joe proceeded to kill several rats for us and reclaimed our laundry room; and also got our house protected. Felt really good about this service — only issue was initially scheduling — but i suspect because this is not for lack of effort — but because he is so busy. Thanks!

After asking another pest control company to help but failed to complete the job we called Advanced Animal Wildlife Control and man they saved the day. They removed some sloppy material installed by old company and set up a few traps in a fashion where they couldnt leave again from the attic unless its into the traps. By that evening we had four squirrels in the trap!!! I wasted some good money and a total of two weeks with previous company. AAWC got it done in one evening. No more noise! Very professional and prompt. They wrapped everything up to be certain I dont have this issue again in the future. If you need squirrel control these are your guys.
My only complaint is they didn’t clean out all of the rubble left behind but other than that service was amazing.
Oh and they work well with your schedule if you’re there or not. Great price and responsive. I’d recommend their grade A service.

It took a bit for them to initially come after a few calls. They came out to set trap and removed the skunk under my house. They left the trap to make sure all animals were out. I called several times to tell them to pick their trap up and finally got a call 6 weeks later. I now have new activity and called 2 weeks ago for them to set trap again and finally got a call back after calling several times more. They were suppose to show last week and never called or showed up. I reluctantly gave my neighbor their phone number. They actually called her and not me and said they would be here today to set our traps. No show and no call again! I don’t get it. They obviously don’t want to take care of my problem. Why not just call and say so instead of wasting my time. So rude and the worst customer service. I spent a total of 400 and never received full inspection under house like I was suppose to get. I now have to deal with new activity that wouldn’t have happened if they would have picked up their unset trap and we were able to properly fill the hole up. Now I have to pay more money to a new company

Great service and friendly. On last Sunday night I opened a seldom used downstairs bedroom’s door and was greeted with a stench of something dead probably under the house. Monday morning I called and left a message for Joe at 9am. He called back in about five minutes and said he could be at the house between 12 and 12:30 THAT DAY. He arrived on time and was very friendly. He checked out the room and the adjacent bathroom and determined it was indeed something dead hopefully under the house not in the heating vent. He donned his equipment, went under the house and a few minutes later came out with a very large decomposing rat. Fortunately he couldn’t find any evidence of another rat or entry into the walls or heating duct work. He helped me check for points of entry and we found the likely spot. Since he didn’t have the material to close the entry point he gave me the option of having him come back or offered to show me the simple fix required and I did it myself. He did explain there was a 30 warranty if there was another animal. I was more than happy to spend the money and the smell was completely gone in a day as he predicted. I definitely recommend him.

We were lucky to have Joe work on our bird removal issue and was it a Godsend. Over the years we were pestered by pigeons on top of our roof. Joe was kind enough to provide a free estimate and a clear-​cut removal/​prevention plan of attack. He was very sincere and thoughtful in his approach. Joe ended up netting off two eaves and removed all nests. After, he did a clean up job that turned our bird area spotless!
I would definitely use his services again. Super professional and the work done is super clean! So thankful for his great work ethics and thorough presentation.

I had the pleasure to meet Joe after calling his cmpany to help with our bat issue. He was very prompt and knew his stuff. We discovered bat guano on the group but could not figure out where it was coming from. Joe said he would not charge anything if we did not have bats. He was patient and when he arrived at our place and examined, he told us that the rats are most likely behind the gutter. It turns out that they were behind the gutter. It was hard for us to tell.
I thought about hiring a contractor to replace the gutter, but Joe suggested that he can use expanding foam to fill in the void behind the gutter. We ended up doing that and saved lots of money.
Overall experience was great. Highly recommended!

I would give this negative stars if I could. I call to get a pricing and the rude guy on the phone tells me the price, I hung up, and then he TEXTED ME, saying «that was rude, people charge more» LIKE WHAT IN THE WORLD? WHO TEXTS PEOPLE FOR REFUSING THEIR SERVICE? Pathetic, and obviously isn’t a good business if they’re going out of their way to text people who don’t want to use them.

I recently moved into my boyfriend’s house in the Lafayette hills– woodsy area. So you can imagine all of the wildlife here. We’ve been hearing scratching and flapping in our vaulted ceilings, plus chirping. We called joe for bird removal and he came out to do the surveying. He discovered vents broken open under our eaves. He removed the birds that were living in our attic first and then screened off the holes. There were other holes he noticed were open. He sealed all of them up too!
We haven’t heard anything since then. Very thorough animal removal service. He went the extra mile to survey all vents 2 stories high. Now I’m thinking about seeing about his raccoon removal services because they go through our flower beds and tomatoes!!!

So I’m visiting my in-​laws for the holidays and hear they’ve been struggling with skunks for quite some time. It sux because I’m here now wreaking of skunk! I called around looking for a skunk removal service. I found this company who had good reviews. He came out and said there’s a dead skunk under the home! It stank… Bad! Lucky for us he does do dead animal removal.

As soon as my husband and I opened the door to our home after a 4 day trip, it hit us. A pretty strong, unbearable foul smell. It was definitely something dead. I called AAR in the evening, left a message and got a call back first thing in the morning setting up an appointment for that same day. Joe seemed to know what he was doing. Checked out the attic (I was convinced that’s where the smell was coming from through the ventilation) and when he found nothing there Joe began a meticulous detective work. The dead rat had somehow gotten in a closed part in the back of the oven, getting electrocuted by two wires. Joe had the instrument to unscrew the metal sheet covering the back part of the oven, remove the dead animal and maggots, spray, clean. The whole ordeal took about an hour. I am glad I called a professional, inside my almost brand new oven is the last place I would have guessed to be the source of the problem. The service fee was flat and of the same amount that I was told over the phone, no surprises there. Thank you Joe!

I had a really bad odor coming from my bedroom underneath the house. We didn’t know who to call but I found AAWC’s website and even though it was after hours he answered and responded quickly. He thoroughly searched the crawlspace and came back out with a dead animal!!! A huge dead opossum. Joe even sprayed some germicidal thing that kills the bacteria of the dead animal.
I was very happy he came out the same night I called because the smell was horrendous. It was unbearable. I would definitely rcommend this company to others!

Only reason I called him is he picked up the phone on odd time. But, it was bad experience.
After he set up trap, I did not see one baby raccoon for many days. I asked him to check crawlspace day after day, but he did not go.
In the end baby raccoon died and smell came from there. I had to call Critters Humane Animal Control from Emeriville to get dead animal.
Things I find bad:
1) This chap is arrogant and unprofessional. He shows up 4 – 8 hours after promised. He does not apologize.
2) He does not return calls or emails in timely fashion.
3) He is more expensive than some others.

I’ve used Advanced twice now and feel they needed a detailed and honest review. I dealt with Joe and he was awesome. Very professional and responsive.
We had a mice problem and we set up some glue traps that I purchased from the market. I caught 5 of them within 2 days. I knew I had to get a professional. I called several places but Joe quoted me a fair price and was able to come the next morning. He set up traps and sealed holes that I never even noticed! He came back twice, once a week, before our mice problem was finally gone. I’m so happy I found them!
If you are having any rodent or pesky mice problems — like I did, I highly suggest Advanced Animal Removal. Ask for Joe and you won’t be sorry!
