Description

History

Established in 1970.

The Thirsty Camel Supper Club was established in the 1970’s by Freddy & Norma Everett. Since it’s original opening the Camel has been ran by several different people over the years. In 2009 we had the opportunity to lease it until it burned down in November of that same year. We decided to purchase the land and rebuild on the original foundation, which is located in the middle of a corn field, and in September of 2010 we reopened the Thirsty Camel!

Business Owner

I have been a «Thirsty Camel Girl» for over 20 years and will always be a «Thirsty Camel Girl» is what I tell people. I worked here waiting tables for many years and loved the job and the people! My dream was to own the Camel and thanks to my husband (and our banker) I am able to live my dream. Along with owning and operating the Camel my husband, Reuben and I have 5 kids and 4 grandkids. We have a great crew of employees that work for us and for all of this I am grateful.
