You know it’s homemade salsa when it’s a different(and delicious) every refill :-) seriously, addicted to the steak tacos($ 2/ea a la carte) and tostadas are great, too! And when in doubt, the buffet is great. Oh, and the guacamole and pico… I could go on for days… Just drive to CJ and enjoy the food!!! #addicted

Yasssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss This one was worth the little trip down rural Iowa to rural Iowa Asada-Delicious and tender. Pollo– Great seasoned flavor. Pastor-The right flavor and juicy. Enchilada-Cheesey and good sauce. Rice and Beans-They are better than most I’ve had. If you like good authentic Mexican food and need a new place I would travel here from the larger cities to try. They do have a few other places worth stopping in town and this is one of them.

When Las Palmas opened, the general consensus in town was, «Oh great, yet another Mexican restaurant! We don’t have aaaannnnyyy of these.» And then, slowly, people began to try it, and Las Palmas went from ‘just another Mexican restaurant,” to a place with great, cheap, authentic Mexican food. Their burritos are excellent, and cheap($ 5 or so), and most everything is good. Try the fried ice cream!
