Hi — I just got my quote from Richard. He was very patient in answering all my questions. I liked they warranty they give on the job; 25 yrs on the door and I think it was 5 or 10 yrs on the labor. They sound like a solid company to work with. I have a few more questions that I needs answers before I make my final decision but they are definitely the top two given my experience with them so far. I like that Richard was able to give a quote in one day and the responsiveness of the company. If they are the one to install my door, I will come back and update this review. If you are shopping around, I would definitely give them a call and include them as one of your bids.
Update: just finished my door installation– awesome job and the installers Nick and Mitch were great. They were clean and efficient. They did not waste time and worked well together in getting the door installed. The painter that came was awesome. Don’t bother looking for your own, just use the one they partner up with — you will not be sorry.
If I need to update any doors inside or my windows I will be calling them.

Rich came and carefully gave us an estimate to replace our home windows and front door. He gave us some great advise and we selected Anlin windows.
They are awesome and so easy to use and clean. They are rated so high in efficiency that we recieved an extra rebate for our whole home upgrade via pge. They also helped us resolve and correct another issue which they did not cause. They know all the great bay area contactors and left me with references for other work we needed. It’s been a year now and our windows and door are still fabulous. Thank you so much for all your warm, well informed, friendly customer service and on time, seamless installation of your products. I fully recommend this company. You have found your contractor here, look no further.

West Coast Windows and Doors replaced all our windows, sliders, and entry doors this month and we are very happy with the results. The products were custom-​built for our oversized frames and the quality is outstanding.
This is a small, family-​owned (and operated) business and they delivered an outstanding customer service experience thought the process. The installation team was also great to work with and took extra care removing a sentimental piece of window glass that we wanted to preserve.
When it’s time to do our interior doors we be calling them again.

So far so good! We have been in the market for a new front door and checked out the options at West Coast Windows and Doors. The quality and diversity of the products that they carry is amazing. While there is not a lot of product that is offered in the show room floor, there are catalogs showing and describing the options.
The service that we have received from Kelly was the best. She was very accommodating and even took the time to make sure that my 5 year old was comfortable.
Richard came out to give us the estimate and walk through the next steps. We are making a decision and will update my reviews after installation.
What did I learn today? The local wild turkey prefers cat food to organic nuts.

Recently had new interior doors installed by West Coast Windows and Doors. They have a great showroom and spent so much time with us picking out the perfect doors. Installation went smooth and the doors look fantastic. Very happy with the service and product.

We’d like to thank everyone at West Coast Window & Doors for such great service. My husband & I had been in the need of a new slider for sometime. However, after going to West Coast Windows & Doors personally & seeing all the choices we had we decided to purchase a french door, which looks absolutely beautiful. Our whole experience from the time we ordered our new door to the end has been superb. Thank you Richard, Kelly, Amanda, Karen & can not leave out the installation crew who truly worked as a team and left everything nice & clean after the installation.

We were referred to West Coast Windows and Doors and are so happy we were! We need to replace all of our windows and doors but don’t have the finances to do all yet. We went to them because our sliding door broke and needed a new one. Not only were they $ 800 cheaper than other places we priced out but they also had it installed within one week of initially seeing them. Their work crew were very respectful of my home and made sure everything was left spotless before they left. I can’t wait to afford to replace the other windows in our home, we will always only use West Coast!

Our experience with Richard and team at West Coast Windows was excellent. My wife and I rent a townhouse, and it needed the two bedroom windows replaced. Very few window companies in the area will do a job that small (most companies wouldn’t even talk to me once they found out I only needed two windows), but it wasn’t a problem with these guys.
Richard was prompt on the day of the estimate, and thorough in his explanations and recommendations. WCW worked between us, our HOA, and our landlords, who don’t live in the area, to get the job estimated, approved, and done. They finished the job in less than a day and left the apartment in good, clean shape.
No complaints, and I would happily hire them again.

We selected West Coast Windows and Doors not only because of their pricing (very competitive) but because of their knowledge with windows and their knowledge and track record of working with Walnut Creek and Rossmoor. When it came to replacing the 50 year old windows in our home, West Coast made the entire process run smoothly with little effort on our part. Once we selected West Coast, they took the ball and ran with it, keeping within the set timeframes, giving us a very professional installation team who were focused on doing an exceptional job, and selecting the best people to complete the project. I highly recommend West Coast and I’ll be using them again in the future.

We are very pleased with the whole process from bid to installation. The installers were very professional, and completed the work on time, and cleaned up the work area too. The installers made all the finishing work look awesome.

West Coast Windows just completed a front door install at my home in Peacock Creek in Clayton today. Highly recommend this very organized and professional company. Their painter, Randy, did an exceptional and meticulous job in finishing off the project. Very happy to recommend from start to finish!

I had a few window companies come in and provide a whole house estimate. I decided to go with West Coast Windows because I enjoyed how Richard completely explained the product in great detail. He did not deploy any high pressure sales tactics. He helped me decide on the Bickmold style trim which totally made the windows look so much better over the plan flat vinyl trim. The West Coast crew arrived right on time and completed the work to a high degree of professionalism that resulted in a pleasant install experience. I had several office correspondences with Kelly and Mallory. They were both very attentive and responsive to any of my requests. I can with complete confidence recommend the West Coast & Doors company.
My only comment (not a complaint) is that if you decided to do a window retrofit with any company to factor in window covering brackets and the fact that some may not fit back in after the new windows are installed. Personally, the new windows look so damn good I really hate to cover them anyways.

One of the most professional contractors that I have ever dealt with. Showed up on time, and provided immediate proposal. They also possess one of the best showrooms compared to other local contractors.

I have never written a Unilocal review before, but our experience with West Coast Windows and Doors was so bad that consumers in this area need to beware. We are a very reasonable couple that always looks for the positive. We gave this company several opportunities to right their wrong to only be frustrated and amazed at their total lack of customer service.
We had 3 sets of Anderson double french doors replaced in our home by this company. We were very patient in the beginning as it took two separate times, and several months, to get the right door for our dinning room.
To make a long story short, they installed them and two of the door sets would not lock. I had to tie bungee cords around the handles because not only would they not lock, but would just pop open involuntary. I was told the house had settled and that’s the best they could do, which was totally unacceptable, duh !!! Who in their right mind would accept that the doors to their house just won’t lock. The doors that we replaced had issues with the exterior peeling off, but all 3 sets of previou doors locked.
They wanted to charge us a minimum $ 175 to come out again and I even agreed to that, unwillingly, just to get them to come and see how bizarre and unreasonable it was to install doors and leave a client with no locks, duh again! However, after dealing with Amanda, the person who schedule’s was so rude and unreasonable to us that I really didn’t want to deal with them anymore and she was actually upsetting and insulting to me.
The Anderson representative came out to our house. And he recommended another company called, THE HOME DOCTORS, in Novato, come out and look at these doors. A man named Mike came out and fixed the two doors that we were told could never lock because of settling, within 1 hour that same day. How crazy is that? Wow, someone who knew his craft fixed the unfixable in 1 hour.
While West Coast Doors was here we also had them replace a simple pocket sliding door to the bathroom, which also broke off the slider again and they would not come out to fix that either.
I have never dealt with a company that had such poor follow up or customer service. And we deal with many contractors, as we have built our own home and have many rental units that we have restored.
I don’t even want my money back that we paid them. I just don’t want for myself or anyone else to go through the frustrations again that we experienced.

I went to West Coast Windows and Doors to find some replacement parts for our Anlin screen doors. Kelly and the staff were very helpful and courteous! I also asked about a problem I am having with one of windows, and Kelly said that she would help me with the warranty coverage for the repair/​replacement of the window. (We moved into the house 10 years ago, and the previous owners had the windows installed.)
I will definitely recommend West Coast Windows and Doors for all your window and door needs.

Maybe they have a lot of business so can be selective — no response to an email sent two days ago requesting estimate for 2 exterior doors. Not a huge project but significant just the same. I’ll move on to others who may need the work.
