Inspiring the Champion within everyone is our motto. We build confidence, teach respect and lead by example. We teach Self Defense for 12 years and up, as we are dedicated to keep our ladies safe. Learn quick and practical techniques, tips from local police officer, and practice what works for you.
Master Tomizaki’s 30 years of experience in teaching, coupled with his physical education background allows him to customize everyone’s training to the best of their abilities.
Benefits from our programs include cardio to trim tone and strengthen while doing a super workout to high energy music. You will also improve your concentration and focus.
Also, Grasshopper class starts at ages three and a half as well as junior, teen and adult classes.
History
Established in 2007.
Tomizaki’s Champions Kung Fu Institute was founded by Master Daniel Tomizaki and his wife Steffani, in 2007.
After more than 32 years training and over 30 years teaching, Master Tomizaki started his own school, where he is able to provide extensive and effective training for preschoolers, children, teens, adults, and seniors.

Business Owner
Master Tomizaki was born and raised in Brazil. He started practicing kung fu in 1980 under Sifu Dirceu Camargo and Master Li Wing Kay, studying Seven Star Praying Mantis & Eagle Claw. He was the 1st student in Brazil to earn a Black Belt in Seven Star Praying Mantis. In 1989, he relocated to the USA where he started leaning Choy Lay Fut under Master Tat-Mau Wong in San Francisco. He became a sifu in 1997. He is also a black belt in Shuai Chiao under Master Li Wing Kay. Master Tomizaki introduced Choy Lay Fut style to Brazil in 1992.
His dedication for kung fu becomes obvious when one looks at his list of accomplishments:
* 31 — 1st place in forms, weapons, sparring, Lion Dance, and full contact in competitions in the USA, Canada & Brazil
* 8 — Grand Championship awards
* 4 Star International Grand Champion
* Has performed in USA, Canada, Brazil & Singapore
* Has traveled & trained at the Shaolin Temple
* Has been teaching kung fu to kids, adults, seniors for over 30 yrs
