Specialties

Seismic Autosound is a car audio shop in Concord that specializes in custom installations utilizing fiberglass and other composite materials.

We also do the basics like alarms, Bluetooth devices, iPod integration, speaker and cd player installation/​replacement.

Any project big or small is not a problem at Seismic. Whether you want to add some subs, a backup camera, GPS, Sirius, XM, HD radio, amplifiers or lighting. At our shop, installations are done properly: We solder and heat shrink all connections; Every amplifier is tuned using an oscilloscope; Every sub box is custom-​built to the Thiele/​Small parameters of the individual woofer. We also provide you with a performance printout of your box and amplifier tuning.

History

Established in 2010.

Seismic Autosound first opened its doors in May of 2010 in San Francisco. After garnering a great reputation for quality car audio installations (we had over 50 5-​star reviews on our old Yelp page), the team found a bigger space in Concord — just 40 minutes east of SF.

Bryon is awesome. I needed to replace a system that was driving me crazy that the SPA-​WHO-​SHALL-​NOT-​BE-​NAMED hacked in. The glasswork Bryon did to fix the dash and backmount the new Pioneer NEX looks better than factory. He far exceeded my expectations. Very happy customer! I’m now saving up for the amp & sub he recommended and could squeeze in the cab of my truck: D

I needed a car alarm and was dreading it but my experience here was great!
When I told Brian what I needed he recommended I get a glassbreak sensor too because I work in the city a lot and my car has already been broken into twice in the last month couple of months. He quoted me a decent price so I did it and it works like a dream!

I had another shop install an amp and sub in my car, but everything kept cutting out. I went back to the SHOP-​WHO-​SHALL-​NOT-​BE-​NAMED and while they claimed to fix it, it still sounded awful. I will never go back there.
Brian at Seismic Autosound rewired and reinstalled my system. It hasn’t cut out once since he fixed it. He even gave me a cool printout of how my sound is performing.

I was a customer of Seismic when it was in San Francisco and when I finally traded in my Civic for a Lexus, I brought it back to Bryon. And once again he did a great job!
The Lexus’s factory radio was very basic — it wouldn’t let me bluetooth in my phone so I couldn’t listen to my music or podcasts AND it didn’t have navigation.
Bryon told me that because of the model of my car, he would have to customize a one-​off dash kit for me in order to install a new radio and nav system. I was a little alarmed because that sounds expensive, right? But it wasn’t!
Seismic does great work (that actually works!) and charges a fair price. Highly recommended. A++++. Have recommended to all my family and friends and am now recommending it again to you Unilocalers!
