Muy mala experiensa la verdad ordenamos straberry margarita y la margarita en primer lugar servida en un vaso regular como si fuera agua y sin sabor segundo no chips ni salsa tercero la botana de camarones sin sabor ni sal ni salsa picante la verdad en mi opinion las montañas estaba mejor mil veses asta la soledad esta mejor la comida y eao k no es un restaurant lujoso como este pero roberto tiene k probar mas constante las bebidas y la comida

We had Robert and his staff cater our Ribbon Cutting event last night and it was fabulous. Robert is very professional, prompt and the food was impeccable. The servers were friendly, outgoing and very helpful. We will definitely be using Robertos Bar and Grill for future catering needs. Thank you Robert for helping to make our event such a huge success!

The best thing about this experience was Dinora’s service. Many of the special items we expect were no longer served but were still listed on the menu. The chili verde was good but a bit too fatty. The special house shrimp was nicely spiced but over cooked to the point of being tough.

Poor service. Waited nearly 30 minutes for food when we were the only customers in the restaurant. The staff were happy to chat amongst each other, but, apparently, we’re not interested in seeing how we were doing or cooking our food.
On the food aspect — it was mediocre. We ordered the guacamole, pork shank, and chicken burrito. The guacamole was cold (refrigerated) and lacked flavor, particularly lime. The pork shank was a mediocre pork chop — as we discovered, they served us the wrong dish. Burrito was nothing to write home about. Many places in the immediate area to get a better burrito.
[Update] I originally posted mid meal. At the end, the manager came out and apologized for the wait and gave us their dessert churro on the house. Churro was tasty.

Oscar takes such great care of us when we come into the bar. He always remembers our drinks, very personal and always has a smile and gives the best service. He is quite the mixologist in fact. Clamato Bloody’s Mary’s and the Palomo’s are our favorite. Service is always quick too! Oscar will always come highly recommended in my opinion

Best Mexican Restaurant in contra costa county!!! I’ve never had a better tasting margarita — and they are strong! They make them with real agave nectar. We sat at the bar tables with Oscar the bartender who waited on us and who is the best! Friendly, attentive and makes a mean pitcher of margaritas! Make sure to order the combination fajitas… So much food! I recommend the chorizo appetizer too!

Went here with some friends to check out the tequila bar. They have so many options and their margaritas are absolutely delicious! We asked Oscar what he recommended for food and drinks and he didn’t miss a beat! The chorizo dip was great, margaritas were great and the combo fajitas were bomb! Everything tasted so fresh and we even got to chat with the owner for a bit. Loved this place and will definitely tell all of my friends to come here with me because you better believe I’m coming back.

We always come here for happy hour and we are always welcomed when we come in from Oscar. Oscar is a great bartender and always has a smile on his face. If you’re ever in town and in the Park & Shop Center stop by Robertos Grill.

Good drinks, great bartender, band plays on Sundays! They have a large selection of tequila which is very awesome. I usually stick to the shrimp because they pan fry it in a well seasoned iron cast skillet, delicious. Great place to grab a drink and watch the game.

My dad and I stepped in for the lunch buffet. We were greeted by warm, welcoming staff and a lovely ambiance; but the food was 2 stars at most. Lunch buffet is under $ 10, so I guess you get what you pay for.
I could give this place another chance. Buffets are usually not a good representation of a restaurant’s regular menu.

I didn’t have the typical expectations coming to this place because I only went for a visit to watch the Warriors playoff game. It’s one of the only places in Concord that plays the game with…(insert drum roll here)…SOUND. Yes, SOUND! It’s not a sports bar, but I would definitely come back here to watch a game as there’s three TVs at the bar with a great view from one of the many seats available.
It was a weekday and a slow night, and service was great. Someone immediately greeted us and took our order. In fact she was so patient with group when we weren’t ready and even suggested menu items as we were looking over the menu.
The game went into overtime and it was already past closing time, but the manager allowed us to sit and watch the rest of the game.
The service alone will keep me as a returning customer.

Our server was great! She actually couldn’t have been any better! Happy Hour drink menu was decent. The Happy Hour food options were okay! Nothing to phone home about.
Their prices are really reasonable and the ambience was nice. There was very very light music on and no sound from the games playing. It was way to quiet.
It is a newer place and all I decided on because I wasn’t too hungry was a bean and cheese burrito with enchilada sauce and sourcream, with a Happy Hour Margarita. Both were fine. We were disappointment in the salsa. Nothing special, nothing memorable. One of the things I look forward to is CHIPS and SALSA!
I will be back and give them another shot. Get a real entrée. I have heard great things about their happy hour. I just haven’t experienced that yet.

This review is for the LUNCH BUFFET. The three or four times that I’ve been here for their lunch buffet, I’ve been pretty impressed. The menu was different each time I’ve gone. There were quite a bit of options to choose from. Two full plates each time. Complete with soup salad and some dessert items. All less than $ 10. It’s definitely in my list of go-​to places for lunch.

My daughter was in town and wanted the some Shawarma but we had her Chow Chow puppy with us. She ordered and I checked out where we could eat on an outside patio with the puppy. Roberto’s who took over the space of Las Montanas has a patio. I checked with the bartender about the sitting on the patio with the puppy if we ordered food & drinks and had food from next door. He was very accommodating plus stars ! We wound up ordering a couple margaritas and mochicatas each. For food we ordered the steak nachos. I must say the nachos were not good. There was a mariachi band roaming the restaurant looking for people who might tip them. They were very loud and detracted from the people trying to eat and watching the Giants game or Soccer. Drinks were good, extra stars for accommodating us. Don’t order the Nachos.

We just came here for the first time since it became «Roberto’s,» and we are not super excited about the change.
It was a Saturday night at there were not many people there other than the 4 of us, but the service was still pretty slow. Three of the meals came out about 5 minutes or so ahead of the fourth.
I had the chicken enchiladas mole, which was a normal portion but didn’t seem to have a real «mole» taste. Kind of bland
The house margarita I ordered tasted sour and like they forgot the tequila. The strawberry margarita my gf ordered was almost entirely syrup and way to sweet.
It will not continue to be one of «our spots» anymore.

Had extra time to burn me and my friends decided to enjoy a bite to eat on the patio at Roberto’s and we were glad we did excellent service and food was ready before we finished chips and dip.
Dont be fooled by the previous reviews this place is a perfect place to relax eat and get some fresh air

Robert E. inboxed me to «come back and let me show you what Robert’s is capable of…» i usually don’t redo reviews (time constraints…) during my lst visit, service was very good but food was lacking. i decided to accept Robert’s invitation.
when I arrived, i noticed a buffet setup. I was greeted by an employee almost immediately, met Robert who presented me with a elegant new menu. since camarones alcapulco was no longer offered –too time consuming, i asked for a recommedation.
eats: Chamorro (Pork Shank, 11.99)
–Jalisco dish slow cooked for hours wrapped in plaintain leaf, topped with Burria? sauce.
fresh tasting and mild flavored, looked like turkey drumstick,
–menudo soup (from buffet)
very tender pieces of tripe, tasty.
drinks: horchata, jaimaica.
natural tasting, no powder tasted, definitely homemade.
probably best ever tasted

Horrible wait staff. Three hostesses took 2 minutes to acknowledge we were there. No one else was waiting to be seated.
Once seated, the staff spoke in Spanish as they figured out who was waiting our table. Felt awkward.
Had to wait to get water, chips etc.
Once our meal arrived, I came across a chicken bone in my flauta. The staff did nothing expect say sorry.
The rice had obviously been sitting out, crisp on top. Smaller portions.
We won’t be back. Sorry.
