Excited found a boba spot by my job! Nice clean place. They has old school games you cold play like chess, checkers and Simon on the tables too.

Terrible customer service. Extremely disappointed I’ve been coming here for a while and they couldn’t give me a crêpe because it was 5 minutes before close time. This asian dude was so rude and gave me the dirtiest look when I arrived. Will NEVER be coming here again.

Terrible customer service. Bought 6 milk tea, and can’t even have bag for customer. Cashier has bad attitude. Never come back!

Great place to hang out with plenty of room. They have games (connect four, Jenga, Uno), that you can use.
Their list of boba ice team is long and really good. I’ve had the white chocolate, taro, avocado all of which I liked. I’ve also tasted the crepes which I also enjoyed.
Their workers see friendly which is a bonus.
Definitely recommend this place over the over boba places in the area.

Stopped in Concord to see friends & saw shaved ice & crepes. It was 10:30pm and I wanted a crêpe but didn’t know what kind just a crêpe with strawberries. This amazing crêpe maker made the most delicious crêpe I have ever tasted! Strawberries, chocolate and whipped cream = heaven! Hubby & kids got a shaved ice the size of a small bucket for $ 5 and it fed 3 people. Good prices and amazing food! The place was very clean and there were board games on the tables.

Used to be our favorite place to come for boba-​bubble-​tapioca drinks. Great when they first opened. Not sure if business isn’t going so well or what, since Sharetea opened up a couple of blocks away. Half the time this place doesn’t even have half the toppings available. Also, AC is non-​existent here.
At least customer service has stayed pretty much the same. Friendly high school-​college kids.

I was pleasantly surprised by Bobaloca’s bubble tea! I stopped by after grocery shopping at 99 Ranch and was craving for some Asian dessert. I saw they have some interesting fruit smoothie as well as Frapuccino. I ended up getting a Macha Frap no bubble and my hubby got a Red Bean and Coconut Smoothie Bubble Tea. We both love it!
We will be sure to return for their bubble tea in the near future!

Within the Park N Shop area, their are many places that sells boba. Catching my eye, I noticed it was a new joint, so why not check it out? Upon walking in I see board games, dessert display, and menu on the wall.
I fairly can’t judge the boba because I do not drink it, but I have taken my daughter to many places in her lifetime LOL but she gives it 4stars! So I am speaking for her, plus the fact we got to hang out and play connect 4. Clean setting and friendly service.

A fine huge boba place, nondescript but tasty. Very empty on a Sunday night. Not much to say, other than, fine if you feel like Boba and you’re in the neighborhood.

The Park and Shop complex already had a bunch of different eateries and business’ in general. The youngest of the shops is Bobaloca. It has come up with the recent rise and popularity of bubble tea, boba, etc.
It’s right next to this falafel shop and a few stories from McDonald’s. It’s easy access from all sides whether you’re walking from say Mount Diablo High School, taking transportation on the bus, or driving yourself here.
Parking isn’t difficult here. The options are numerous. Park in Park n Shop itself, park in the garages near Todos Santos, etc,
This place is pretty cute with how each table inside had a game on it. One table had chess, another checkers, another Connect 4, another Jenga, etc. To me, this really shows that this place is welcoming to all and they expect you to come by and hang out here.
Let’s go with their menu. They have the standard milk teas with the option of boba. Flavors go from taro to strawberry to mango. They got shakes as well like
Oreo vanilla, or Oreo chocolate. They got sodas and waters too. They interesting thing to is that they even got crepes!
Now I normally go for anything with Oreos. But I wasn’t in the mood for that, so I opted to go with what was almost always second option: taro.
Regular sized taro milk drink with boba cost $ 3.75. Fairly cheaper than the likes of Quickly and ShareTea.
Their regular is maybe a bit smaller than a regular from Quickly’s and is definitely smaller than the regular from ShareTea.
There was a lot of ice in my drink. The boba was at the bottom. The drink didn’t look mixed that much so I had to shake it a bit.
Taste wise taro in itself is a bit bland in my opinion. But the right amount of milk and sugar can make taro taste like the best thing in the world. On a scale of 1 – 10, the taste of this drink in a right mixture of the three things I previously named was a 4. It didn’t help that I could hardly grab the boba. I had to shake my drink, put my straw at an angle just to get the boba that was covered by the crushed ice.
I don’t believe I would come here for the milk tea or for the boba. It was a let down. Perhaps, the crepes are better?
The only thing good about this place was the good service, the quickness that I got my drink, wifi, and the games on the table.

It’s a cute, quaint spot to hang out or grab desert. They have tables with board games or tables for study sessions. Servers are nice, & they really do make the drinks fresh to order. The green tea matcha milk tea is my #1 recommendation. They know how to make ya green tea sugar craving palate happy! Lol. Took my friend here for the first time & she absolutely loved her matcha green tea drink. Have yet to try their waffles and crepes. We’ll be back!

Thought I would try another Boba place even though I didn’t add Boba in my tea.
Ordered a Taro milk tea. The Taro one is extra money but the flavor is only slightly better than Quickly. Hmm. Still not finding a decent taro flavor milk tea in the East Bay.
Service: speedy
Ambiance: they do have games on all the tables which makes it fun.

It’s a nice hangout place, with a big dining area and they have games for the kids, but their crêpe can use improvement (or maybe I’m used to the Snowflake kind); the batter was sub par, or the griddle wasn’t hot enough and the crêpe’s we got both was soggy and chewy. One thing I like is their filing are all a la carte and they’re pretty generous about it.
They had macaroons in their display case, but it didn’t seem inviting as some were cracked.

Me and bubble tea just ain’t friends, so when a friend took me here promising a sweet treat, I was a bit skeptical. And then to my delight he ordered us both the Dirty Affogato, which comes with the macaron of your choice! Now THAT is a treat I can sink my teeth into!
This location is quite spacious, filled with low tables topped with board games, so it makes for a fun environment. But the longer we sat there enjoying our treats, it became obvious the low tables topped with games make the joint more family friendly, which made it quite noisy. Fair warning.
But the dirty affogato is a worthy treat. Priced a litte steep at $ 4.99 for a small portion, but at least it is piled up with goodies — a scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with an espresso shot, whipped cream, hot fudge and caramel with about six flavors of macarons to choose from. I opted for hazelnut to pair up with the coffee, and it was fresh and sweet! Overall it was really a sundae that had coffee spilled on it, but if you enjoy the bitter snap espresso can lend to a dessert, it’s a fun twist on the Italian classic.
I won’t make Bobaloca a habit but if I was nearby, I’m glad to know they can supply a quality sugar fix!

I have been coming here for years! Countless years. Have always enjoyed the random drawings bulletin boards. The helpings are generous and there is a great variety. Try taro milk tea with the pudding. Sesame milk tea and rose milk tea are also great. Dodo yogurt ice tea is also good.
Would love to see them bring lavender back! And maybe add popping boba.
But this is my go-​to place for boba.

Man, me and my Boba spree continues. I sware in the last few days I’ve visited almost every boba place in my path. Quickly, Sharetea, Ice N Tea, with few exceptions. I’ve visited Boba Loca before, but that before my Unilocaling days. Now I have even more reason to go, I now get to tell about my experience: D cool right? Well anyway here is my review about Bobaloca.
I’m Loco for Bobaloca! Honestly I might have to step out on the limb and say that Bobaloca may be my go to Boba Tea joint. although Ice N Tea does have that bomb «EGG PUDDING» Bobaloca has something of its own that is… Honey Flavor Black Tapioca Balls or.Boba. Here honestly they know how to prepare their tapioca correct. Like hands down… the best I’ve had in my flavored tea’s now. there! Most boba to me just taste like flavorless teddy bears, some would say they have a flavor and I never notice it, with popping boba being an exception.
What makes Bobaloca unique compared to other similar establishements is they have board games and such here. Battleship, Connect Four and JINGA! Each table has a game placed on them if you plan to stay in with the homeboys and homegirls and chat for a bit while enjoying a drink, shaved ice creation or partaking in one of the delicious French Macarons they have here. Yes, I said it right, «French Macarons» and having them here was my first experience with them and I have to say… they were the «BOMB» BoooooM! They have assorted flavors, I choose Green Tea, Vanilla, Mango, Pistachio for my flavors but they have more.
For my boba tea selection, I usually go for Milk Tea’s. I like the creamy flavors. Thai Tea, Tiger Milk Tea, Honey Milk Tea, Honeydew Tea ect. Creamy flavors, upon scanning the menu I seen they have a Banana Milk Tea. That totally was intriguing to my taste buds. I love bananas, and seeing them prepare this milk tea was the best part. They actually put real banana purée in the product… Yes, Yes, Yes! And that made this experience all worth it. Every sip you had that banana hit and tea hit and it all just came together nicely. My large Banana Milk Tea was $ 4.00 bucks, along with my Macarons, which was $ 9.00 bucks so $ 13.00 bucks on this trip. It was totally worth the splurge.
In conclusion, Bobaloca I feel is trying to set themselves apart from what the «Typical» boba tea experience is. They have brought something to the table that I’m not use too, they have made it hip and fun. I can see why they stay consistent. The quality and the value is all worth it. Bobaloca is located off Willow Pass Rd in Concord. I the Park and Shop strip mall. Roberto’s Mexican Grill, Mickey D’s, 99 Ranch Market are some notible landmarks to mention. I say try this place out and Unilocal your own experience. If you like boba tea then you should agree with me.

Ok seriously, what the hell was that?
Those were the exact words that I said to myself (in my head) after taking 1 sip of the watermelon drink I ordered at Bobaloca last weekend. We shop at the 99 Ranch Market down the way and we decided it was a nice day and we should treat ourselves to a little drink.
As others have said, the place is «cute». They have board games, a very frustrating Simon game (with batteries; we beat that thing to death I might add), cars, and an incomplete set of chess (hey assholes who stole those missing pieces, return them!). The staff was very professional. But the drink I had was so watered down and lacking any flavor… I began to wonder if a teeeeeny slice of watermelon was blended with a ton of ice and they called it a day. A plate of run off watermelon juice on a plate was more flavorful. It rode next to me back to my home untouched for half the freeway drive back. I took another sip and cursed at it while my fiancé laughed.
Why 2 stars? The staff was nice, the interior/​atmosphere was conducive to having a chill afternoon, and the boba in my fiancé’s drink was properly prepared. But her milk tea drink was not nearly as bad, but bad.
Not returning.

I can definitely see this place being busier after school. There’s tables and even board games for customers to enjoy.
Selection of drinks are versatile. They have your typical milk teas but they also have coffee drinks, slushed, and milkshakes. They also have some dessert items like crepes and macaroons.
I order my typical drink which is a Thai milk tea. The drink was decent, definitely on the sweet side but not to the point where quicklys make their version horribly so I was ok with it. I do wanna try other drinks though

Finally, a decent boba place. I think this is one of the few places where they don’t overdo it on the ice. Ordered the almond milk tea. The boba’s smaller than normal, but other than that, texture is chewy and not too sweet. Boba is included in the drinks unless otherwise requested. In addition to the milk teas, they also serve slushies, smoothies, Hawaiian shaved ice, and customizable crepes and waffles. They have the classic mainstream games (Jenga, checkers, chess, Connect 4, Uno).
Located in the same plaza as Ranch 99 and Kevin’s Noodle House. Great place to grab some boba and play some games.

I used to live in this area during a time when there were barely any Asian people around and my family would have to drive to Oakland or San Jose on weekends for our grocery shopping. There were maybe four Asian kids in my class. Color me surprised then to return to Concord years later to find a phở restaurant and boba place in a strip mall I used to frequent as a kid.
I popped in here after grabbing phở for dinner. I didn’t expect much and I left pleasantly surprised. Even holding this place to the standards of Asian enclaves like San Jose, I’d say this place measures up just fine. I ordered a lychee green tea with boba and strawberry popping boba. It was a bit too sweet, but overall it was fine. I could taste the artificial flavoring, but in a pinch, this place if fine.
