I have two words to say…“Hire Rex” and you won’t be disappointed. Rex is the consumate professional who knows his work inside and out. He has years of experience so knows which materials are best to use, what colors go well together, how to save time and money with construction projects and how to make you feel as if your opinions and desires truly count. I hired Rex to remodel a bathroom for me and from start to finish I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Simply stated, he’s the best.

Rex and his tile guy were fantastic! I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Massier Construction.
My husband started installing a subway tile backsplash in our kitchen, but realized that the job would take too long for us to finish given our time constraints. Rex came over to take measurements and give us a quote within an hour after speaking to him on the phone. Within a week the Rex had his tile guy over to start the project. He was punctual both days that he came over to install the backsplash.
The final product looks fantastic! We will absolutely hire Massier Construction again.

If you are doing a remodel, call Rex. After two bathroom remodels with Rex, trust us when we say — do not bother with other quotes, just make the appointment, tell him what you would like, and let him do his thing.
Our master bath was torn out last year and nine months later, the contractor walked off with our money and left us with not only an incomplete job, but the work he had completed had to be ripped out. We were heartbroken but we had to get it fixed. More than a little gun shy, we started the grueling process of contacting contractors for estimates… again. One after another, the contractors we contacted either a) told us they would not work on the master bath because they did not want to step into someone else’s mess, or b) provided quotes that were so astronomical, we felt like we were penalized for having been had.
Then we called Rex. I had pulled his profile for the first go round of estimates on the master bath project, but since we received a referral from a friend, I never contacted him and went with the referral. I cannot tell you what a costly mistake that was. Not only did he provide us with a quote that was more than fair, but he was upset for us, not with us, at having been hosed. We were so thrilled with the work he completed on the master bath (in less than a week I might add) that we asked him to gut and remodel our main bath. Shortly thereafter, our second Rex bathroom was finished — like the first, it was done on time, in budget, and with amazing attention to detail.
We cannot recommend Rex enough (already have to our friends and anyone else that will listen); we have our contractor for all future projects. He was truly a joy to work with; so respectful of our home and our budget, and always willing to take the extra steps to ensure that we would be happy with the final product. We could not be happier! If you want it perfect, on time, and on budget — call Rex.

Rex Massier performed a bathroom remodel for me last month. From the first appointment, it was evident that he was a true professional who was fully committed towards helping me achieve the results I was looking for. He was always on time, he kept me updated throughout the project, and he met deadlines.
Like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, Rex’s tile work is fantastic. The floor and shower areas that he did were impeccable. His bid was also the most competitive one out of the several contractors we considered, yet the materials used were also top-​notch.
Overall, I highly recommend Rex if you are looking for a contractor.

I had Massier Construction do the plumbing for my hall bath remodel. I built a custom vanity where the sink trap was hidden in the vanity. Rex located the trap perfectly, allowing me to build identical drawers on both side of the trap as well as maximizing to drawer width. In the bath area I used 1″ x 1″ tiles, a lot of vertical and horizontal grout lines. Rex accurately stacked the values in precise alignment so they ran parallel with the grout lines. Very happy with the price and extremely satisfied with the workmanship.

Prompt, courteous service. We had a hot water tank leaking. Rex showed up within an hour of being called. He explained the issues and gave us options. He provided a fair and reasonable price and did the work immediately. He caused no damage in removing and replacing the unit and carefully cleaned up when he was finished. I would highly recommend him.

I am a Realtor and I found Rex here on Unilocal.I’ve used him for a number of repair jobs on bank owned properties. On each job, I’ve been completely satisfied with the work done by him and his sub-​contractors. I would get multiple bids for each job I needed done and Rex’s prices were always very reasonable compared to the other bids. Another nice thing about Rex — he always answers his phone or returns his calls promptly.
So, if you’re looking for a contractor who has good prices, good communication, is reliable and does good quality work, then Rex is your man!

I called Rex to give me an estimate on a bathroom remodel. In trying to schedule a time for him to come give me an estimate, he seemed completely put-​off that he had to come to my house to give me a bid. Multiple times, he mentioned that he wasn’t willing to drive over during rush hour to «bid against 5 or 6 guys on a job he probably won’t get anyway.» Reluctantly, I still scheduled an appointment for a time he felt was appropriate.
When he came, he immediately started berating my remodeling plans. During the consultation, he constantly interrupted me in the middle of my explanation of my vision of my bathroom. He scoffed at the fact that I wanted to purchase my own fixtures from a plumbing supply company owned by my family friends. Finally, he sarcastically asked «and you’re probably going to buy your own tile too, right?» When I answered that I was contemplating it, he told me he didn’t think bidding my job was even worth his time and he stormed out of my house.
Don’t give this company your business. He is rude, condescending, and not a person you want to invite into your house.

Rex did a bathroom remodel for me. He is always on time, did the work in a very expedient fashion, and his prices very reasonable. The bathroom remodel turned out absolutely perfect; every tile was installed with surgical precision.
