I specialize in providing a consistent look for your small business. I design your logo, business cards, stationary, etc. Anything that is needed. Then add signage, car decals, web site. You choose what you need, I design it. My background is in fine art, and I come from the direction of an artist. I do not use cookie cutter designs. I design on a mac, and use adobe and Quark products.

I like to work with new businesses as well as small business and non profits.

History

Established in 1993.

I studied fine art at Clackamas College and Portland State University in Oregon with an emphasis on design and sculpture. When we moved to California, it was suggested to me to study graphic design. After graduating from Las Medanos College with a degree in graphics and a certificate in desktop publishing, I began my own business. Since then, I have returned to school from time to time, to learn html and web design. I have also studied photography briefly, and now that we have digital technology, I enjoy photography as a hobby. I particularly enjoy altering photos with photoshop.

My other hobbies include painting, sculpture and other types of design.

I belong to the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, and Referral Pros in Walnut Creek, CA.

Art is my passion. You have read about my education in a previous section of this page.

I started my career as a child playing in the mud. Since then I have explored almost every form of expression, from designing and sewing to creating on the potter’s wheel, painting in oil and water color, photography, welded sculpture, cast sculpture, lost wax bronze, and even jewelry making.

I am married and have 2 daughters. For their weddings, I made their dresses, I designed all the collateral, organized the caterers and facilitators, and arranged the flowers for the church. I now have two wonderful sons (in law).

I have compiled a collection of family recipes as well as write my own. It is available on my web site.

I also sing soprano in the church choir and solo when I can. I have even done the lead in a musical.

I do not dance.
