History

Established in 1980.

Bev shares a studio/​dojo with Jon Rodriquez who runs the Contra Costa Budokan Martial Arts Academy. The studio is located in back of the Park & Shop Shopping Center in Concord and down the street from the Brenden Theaters. The studio is fully equipped with yoga props, changing room, and plenty of free parking.

Classes are small and students get personal attention.

Bev has taught yoga for many years; she is a State of California credentialed teacher; she is an Iyengar-​Certified teacher (certified in 1986); she continues her studies in India with the Iyengar family and Manouso Manos in San Francisco.
