Mediocre af. Probably will not be coming back here — unless I’m really hard up for some boba and for some reason find myself stranded here. We came in to try some shaved snow. They were out of mochi which was unfortunate. And they were out of thai tea flavor, so they switched us to the green tea flavor. Overall consensus — the shave snow was lacking in flavor. The honey boba was lacking in texture and flavor — probably just water boiled, not with brown sugar and honey as it should be. When we asked for extra condensed milk, they did oblige which was nice. Total bill came out to $ 6. My brother and I were left unimpressed and didn’t even finish it off. Also, they shaved snow doesnt even come with the little cute eyes as advertised in the pictures.

Tried this boba spot for the first time on Monday. i was pretty pleased with my drink — I got a rose milk tea with honey boba(pearls). It’s one size for about $ 4.50. My drink tasted good, but noticed it had chunks in it, i felt as though it was chunks of paper towel or something, but to my surprise, it was rose chunks(i believe it was rose anyway). After investigating it, i decided i was okay with the rose petal chunks, as i’m assuming it gives it a bit more flavor. It was lightly sweet, and reminded me of rose ice cream — which is a favorite of mine. The women behind the counter were nice and friendly. I would give this place 5 stars, but noticed how she handled my cash with gloves, then proceeded to scoop ingredients and make my drink with the same gloves. I think they may need to be trained on when to change and actually use gloves. Overall, i really enjoyed my boba tea — i just wish hand washing/glove changing was involved a little more. I’ll most likely be going to my original spot — Popping Fresh down the street a bit.

tried the peach green tea w lychee jelly and I really enjoyed it. The service was nice but the place itself is messy and I noticed there was only one person sitting in there and they didnt even buy anything… I wonder why. only thing is that I checked in After I got my drink so I didnt get my lychee jelly for free ugh.

The tea is ok, but every time I come in I’m never able to get boba because they have run out of boba(this has happened at any time of the day usually around 2 – 4 pm!) I’m just tired of trying to enjoy my boba tea without the boba… They did offer a free topping instead of the boba after the guy noticed that it was not the first time they told me they didn’t any boba.

A place got boba? You bet your bottom that I’m up for trying it out. Sunvalley Mall resides in Concord. Ice N Tea resides in the mall beside Auntie Anne’s. Parking is no trouble here. There’s garages and street parking. On a weekday afternoon, there was hardly anyone there. There’s a huge sign calling out to the people: Ice N Tea. Who’s eye will it catch? It caught mine. I’m a boba fan, and I like milk tea so the only obvious conclusion is that I get to this little snack and dessert shop and try it out. It helped that this place isn’t another Sharetea or another Quickly. Those two are a tried and done type of boba shops. I yearn for something new and I found it at the mall. They don’t just provide the standard milk tea, they got regular tea, they got shaved ice with multiple flavors, and they even got some ice cream. Perhaps on another day I would have gone off the beaten path and chosen something that wasn’t with boba, but NOTTHISDAY. To my surprise, there wasn’t any Oreo drink to get. Odd since they did have Oreo ice cream. Anyways, I ordered the Taro Milk Green Tea with honey boba. As I was waiting(not that long though) I looked at the menu and at the seating area. I noted that the price was around $ 4 bucks and there was no choice in size. So it must be one size only or something. WHOA. Received a significantly generous sized cup. The drink was light purple and I could see the boab and ice down at the bottom. Now we get the option to downgrade the sweetness, but I asked to have it 100 percent. The first sip and the sips after I didn’t taste the sweetness that I was looking for. It was a bit bland in the sweet department. But it didn’t taste bad. It just tasted like the all the others boba places I’ve tried like ShareTea and Bobaloca. The best Taro being at Quickly’s. I’m critical with the amount of ice they put at the bottom. I feel they should put less ice at the bottom because it blocks access to the boba and it ends up watering down the milk tea. The boba, my goodness, the boba was flat out amazing. Now that’s sweet. That’s what I was looking for. It wasn’t too chewy or too sticky either. Nothing clung to my teeth or my cheeks either. It was definitely one of the best boba I’ve ever tasted. But it can’t be just boba. The drink in its entirety needs to be good. This wasn’t even a B. I’ll give it a C. To top it all off, the cost would be more expensive if I hadn’t checked on Unilocal. If you check in on Unilocal, you get a free topping. Remember, boba is a topping! There are better milk tea and boba places out there.

You can create your own or they have ones you can choose from. They have regular icecream and drinks too, that I’m not too fond of. But their shaved ice with condensed milk is everything. They decorate it with eyes too. Cute lil spot in the mall. Not much traffic because most people haven’t caught onto the trend just yet. They don’t speak much English. But I don’t mind. A nice treat during shopping during hot weather to cool down.

Stopped by the store today and the Asian female cashier took our order. We received the wrong drink and asked for the correct one. She complained that she HEARD differently and refused to make us the correct drink. After trying to ask to speak to a manager who wasn’t on duty we spoke to another employee(Asian guy) who fixed the problem. As we waited 10mins for our second drink I watched the cashier with her hands and one single glove touch many things– money, credit cards, scratch her head, and her cell phone(at least five times). She then took a block of red ice using her single gloved hand to shave the ice and poke it into a cup. Sanitation is an issue. Two stars for this location because the guy fixed things by re-making the drink correctly.

Ice N Tea has a good selection, boba, ice cream, and shaved iced. Nice to have a different option in the mall. I’ve tried the green tea shaved iced, which was better than I was expecting. Creamy, not super icy like some other shaved iced places, and not too sweet with a good green tea flavor. The green tea ice cream was average. I tried one of their drinks, but it wasn’t memorable. Except that there was so much ice! Didn’t notice until after I ordered that you can adjust the ice and sweetness level. :/ Average service. Both times that I’ve been here there were at least 2 – 3 people working.

We were driving back down from Napa on the way to Grizzly Peak when I was fiending for some boba. How good does that sound? Boba milk tea while enjoying a sweet view. Although it was a little late, we managed to find a place that was open. Ice N Tea is tucked into a small mall, which is mindblowing to me. Only in California would you find a boba place where there is normally an Orange Julius or Starbucks. Although it was near closing, the young employees took my order anyway, along with a few other last minute patrons. I ended up not even getting boba — got the earl grey milk tea with grass jelly less sweet… Surprisingly one of the best combinations I have had in a long while. They also give you a free topping with check in! I wouldn’t go out of my way for this place but if I was craving some earl grey milk tea and was in the area I would definitely stop by. TL;DR Average boba. It seems like every shopping mall is now getting in the boba game, and Sunvalley Mall is no different. This place has a nice atmosphere that allows you to temporarily escape the mediocrity that is Concord. Not only does this place sell boba, it also has ice cream and shaved ice. The prices for boba are a bit higher than average, which is apparently acceptable since it’s the only boba place in the mall. I got a brown sugar milk tea with boba. It took a while for them to make the drink which was strange because there was only one other order ahead of me. It turns out they make the tea fresh in little pots and hot plates(?) and mix the drinks right there. The tea was pretty good. The boba wasn’t that impressive. I like my pearls chewy and sweet but they were cold, firm, and plain tasting. I’d probably get boba somewhere else than spend my money here to be honest.

Overpriced for a very simple drink. We got brown sugar milk tea(totally butchered that name) and it was $ 4.09. No toppings, just the drink. It tasted alright although why I’m giving two stars is bc the worker had told us they ran out of boba and it would be an hour wait until they get more. As we were waiting for our drink, we saw her make a brand new drink for herself, and as she was drinking it, we noticed there was boba in it. So why would she tell me they ran out but she makes something for herself with boba ?? Doesn’t seem right. Sharetea needs to take over this place IMO.

I was hoping to try this place out before I left Concord, but alas, at 11am no one was manning the store. I yelled out a few times and no one was answering. It claims to have been opened since 10am. I was sad and thus I will never ever come here again… unless I am in the area and even then, I have so many other boba options that I’d rather give them my business. Perhaps have a bell at the cash register or a sign that says you’ll be back at a certain time. I would’ve been more appreciative of that than absolutely no response or signage.

Ice N Tea serves shaved ice and boba tea as it implies. not a fan of shaved ice, passed(nearly $ 5) drink: earl grey milk tea(3.35) –fabulous taste, not too sweet, tea flavor strong, not overwhelmed by milk –free topping(got grass jelly) with Unilocal check-in.(sign on counter). went well with the tea, not a boba fan. 4.5 stars drips: –surprising taste from a new place. –friendly, quick service –many people behind the barrier, not sure all are workers.

All I’m going to start off saying is… Egg Pudding! I been thinking about this creamy sweet stuff since my first taste of this custard in my milk tea last night. I must say. Ice and Tea or «Ice N Tea» has left the best Boba Milk Tea impression on me. Honestly as I type this… I am very much wanting to go there and get another delicious Milk Tea with Honey, Boba and Egg Pudding… EGGPUDDING! Man the atmosphere is very inviting and the menu is very inviting. Most boba places I’ve been too is either overly complicated or too simplistic. The menu here is pretty direct in a way that, «this is what we make and people seem to like it so. take it or leave it» no long list of milk teas, slashes, shaved ice ect that tends to sometimes leave me ordering just something familiar between different boba shops because thats what I know and it’s not me looking through the list of drinks and sizes and add ons. What drew me in was the top ten most ordered drinks list, everything on the menu sounded amazing and I plan to sample most of them too. But the prices were right, and the flavor combos were vastly different yet appealing to me. I usually stick to Honeydew Milk Teas, Thai Milk Teas, Tiger Milk Teas or similar flavored drinks. So I went here with the basic milk tea with the boba but… fresh honey and the egg pudding. The milk tea on it’s own was very good, not bland and not overly sweet, it was very well balanced and it seemed the flavor was right on without needed to have a «sweetness» level line some other similar establishments. The boba they used had a very nice chew to it, that’s a big issue I have at some places, either is too firm still and sticks to my teeth or it just seems to fall apart like a overly soaked glob. The boba here is just right. The honey added that sweetness that just made this milk tea over the top for me, can’t recall having fresh honey as my sweetener in a milk tea, but after having it here I’m a little spoiled. The egg pudding was different for me at first thinking about it being as I said before, I only ordered what seemed familiar to me. But now I’m a big fan, the egg pudding almost jello like in consistency, was sweet as well and added a different, yet nice texture. It complimented this drink very well. In conclusion, the Sunvalley Mall aka Concord Mall is coming up, they’ve always had a place that serves boba of some sort there, but this place is the best so far, I world go as fast as to say the better boba establishment in Concord. So if you’re in the mall and want boba tea, ice cream or shaved ice, drop in here and check it out. Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal for a free topping! As always rate your experience, let the Unilocaldom know how you feel about this place!

I’m excited about this place and it’s so conveniently located inside the concord mall. Boba tea: I was very impressed with their Thai tea. It was so good! Not too sweet and I actually was able to taste the tea! My husband got the taro tea and he was also very impressed with it! Shaved ice: My husband and I decided to share this treat and I’m glad we did cause it’s big! Now the consistency has some to be desired, the only comparison to this was when I tried vampire penguin and I felt that I like theirs better. But this one isn’t bad, I just have a different preference. But major props for having more flavors of shaved iced then vampire penguins! Service: Was decent, they were quick and they were friendly! Overall I’m glad they opened up inside the mall and I will come back for the tea!

So this week I tried an avocado shaved ice. I was skeptical at first but the guy helping me out recommended it to me and said they use real avocados. So I decided to give it a try! You would think that it would taste weird, but it is actually REALLY smooth textured and is sweet for an avocado flavor. Combined with the condensed milk it was the perfect combination. I got monster eyes this time with my shaved ice as well! The eyes look like marshmellow toppings, but it is actually fondant icing that they hand make in the store! They cut out two big white icing circles and top it off with two smaller black icing circles to make the monster eyes. Pretty cute presentation when it is all put together! I was also able to try their Mango Green Tea with jelly drink. Personally, I have a sweet tooth, so I love my bobo/tea’s sweetened. However, the green tea actually was not that sweet at all, and had the perfect balance of the tea and sweetness coupled with the jelly inside. The tea was strong enough to taste and not overpowered by the sweetness of the other ingredients. I have a couple more flavors to try here(shaved ice), so I will be back next week again!

It’s official, the boba trend is slowly creeping its way into the East Bay, and it’s definitely trying! I almost mention this in every review I write about boba chains in the East Bay, but: I often feel I’ve been spoiled with«good» boba having lived in Orange County for the past four years. So, when I see a new spot open up close to home, it’s hard NOT to compare, knowing that I’ve tasted some really good boba. This place is actually decent. It’s in the mall, on the 2nd floor, taking place of the old Haagen-Dazs that used to be here. And, I guess for the mall, a boba and milk tea spot is beneficial. There aren’t many snack and drink places in the mall, except for some smoothies and froyo, and with the growing bubble tea trend, this place fits right in. I came in on a late weeknight right before close. My brother and I decided to try our straight up regulars, nothing fancy: earl grey milk tea and jasmine green milk tea, nothing added. I usually like my milk teas on the less sweet side, so I appreciated how they allow you to adjust sweetness based on ice levels(I opted for half-sweet, much like what Concord’s Sharetea does). My brother’s earl grey milk tea tasted like the kind of fresh earl grey brews I taste down in SoCal. Albeit, sweetness level a bit much for me, but it was good. My jasmine green milk tea was a bit too floral and light for my liking, as I could taste too much of the milk and too much«water» that it was just okay… Just sugar and water. It seems they know how to brew their teas into their milk teas here. Sometimes too sugary or too watery, which covers the tea flavor up. BUT, I’m giving it 3-stars for the inattentive worker who obviously hated his life and wanted to leave as we walked in, and for milk tea that satisfied but didn’t change my life.

Pretty darn good. I ordered an Almond milk tea and it was delicious. Cons: they didn’t have any tea with strawberry and that’s my usual.
