A Salon Beyond

Saw Nicole today. At first I was scared to make the jump to a new stylist since I’ve been with mine for over 10 years, but it was time to find someone closer. I found her through Unilocal and then also heard about her from my waxer. So glad I booked an appointment with her. She was able to get me an appointment that worked well with my schedule, reasonable prices, and she really listened to what I wanted done to my hair. The color looks great, especially having to work around what someone else has been doing for 10 years. Looking forward to having a great stylist so close to home!
The salon is located at the Clayton Bowling alley, which is odd. If you’re looking for fabulous service and no drama you’ve found your place. If you want the fancy Walnut Creek atmosphere go elsewhere.

Person for the past 20 years I was SO nervous to try someone new. I have to say I was a little taken back by the location as it’s literally in front of a bowling alley. Honestly the location doesn’t matter as long as the person doing your hair is awesome! And that’s Nicole. I am so happy I was referred to her and is now my hairstylist.
The moment I walked in for my first appointment she made me feel right at home! I loved the color and her trim was perfect. Today was my second appointment with her and again I couldn’t be happier. My hair is growing healthy and looking so pretty thanks to Nicole!

i love this place! I always have a hard time finding a hair stylist who will cut my hair the way i want it cut but I found it at a Salon Beyond. It is located in a the parking lot near the bowling Alley in Clayton. very small but don’t let that deter you from the quality.
I had not cut my hair in almost 3 years (yes i know that is gross) and was so scared that they were going to cut off a ton of my hair. I just needed a trim and wanted some layering around my face. I went to Nicole who completely got what i was going for and did the most amazing job! She got off all the split ends and gave me some cut long layers around my face. I absolutely love it as well as Nicole! she is so great and I would highly recommend making an appointment with her. She gives great haircuts and amazing color. My friend went from brunette to blond and looks amazing! It is so natural looking and almost made me want to go blond.
There is tons of parking and location is easy to find. Right off of Ygnacio Valley Road as you head to Clayton.
Prices are great! Can’t beat the quality and customer service
I have already gone back to get my bangs trimmed and will be back again soon

Back in 2004 Jamie from A Salon Beyond styled my hair for my wedding, & I could not have been happier with the way it turned out. Jamie is very friendly, & listens to what you want, & delivers. I have been to her salon since for haircuts, as well as highlights. When I first went to get my highlights done, I wanted something different but was scared of what colors to go with. Jamie knew exactly what colors would look great. This past year I decided to let go of the long hair & get it cut short. I showed her a picture of what I was thinking, & she explained why she agreed that this would be a complementary cut for me. I couldn’t have been happier with the cut that she gave me. It was exactly what I was looking for, & every time I go in to get it redone she double checks to see if I want the same, & asks how I’m liking the cut. Her Salon is very clean & everyone their is very friendly. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I trust her with my hair & cannot imagine what i’d do without her as my stylist!
