First time coming here, first impression was good the place is in a industrial area so lots of traffic and the parking was a bit small. Inside its pretty spacious they do have seating outside. I had the Popcorn Lobster Roll which is highly recommended based on the reviews and they did not let down, it was delicious lots of flavor and big portions highly recommended.

Great place. Have been here a few times, staff is always very friendly. i have tried both sushi and teriyaki chicken both great. They typically do not take a long time however, when they do take a couple minutes i enjoy their magazine collections. Their magazines are typically up to date so they are very enjoyable while you wait. The owner is beyond amazing always greeting and saying goodbye once you leave which I find awesome!

I work nearby and was craving sushi one day. I was very skeptical about«burrito rolls».just sounds awful. But I tried Fire Crunchy burrito roll and was amazed. It was fresh, delicious, and plenty of food. I I would recommend to come here for your sushi cravings!

Best sushi ever and way bigger then any place you’ll go!!! 8 sushi will fill you up. I bought some California rolls and California tampura roll they were so good. I spend around $ 9 to $ 10 for 16 roll that’s the best deal I even had, normally $ 10 get me around 8 to 10 rolls in some places. One bad thing about this place is there is no pick up line. second time I went, I order over the phone and they said 20mins I waited 30min before going and still waited another 30min in line there was so many people undecided. my lunch time was up and got to work 15mins late. They really need a line for phone orders to pick up. Beside that one bad thing I still highly recommend it!

I can’t say enough about how good this place is. I’ve been twice now and I am officially hooked. I’ve had four rolls and all were so delicious! I’m so sad they aren’t open today(Sunday) because I am craving the Carson roll so bad! Popcorn lobster roll– HUGE! And amazing! It was two meals for me alone, and they are very generous with the crab and lobster. Carson roll– deep fried and perfect in every way. This is my favorite. I could it everyday. Mexican roll– amazinnnnng. A little spicy but so worth it! Philadelphia roll– fresh salmon. Amazing! It’s safe to say I’ll be coming here once a week.

4.5 Rating Based on Lunch experience. I can finally mark this off on my bookmark. First impression walking in very small but a clean environment. Just like«Panera» you order then have a seat with your number. Ordered: Lunch Uni 2 pc $ 7 Lunch Salmon special $ 8 Popcorn lobster roll $ 13 Very fair on pricing. Let’s begin! Uni — I personally loved it but it’s not for everyone. It has a delicacy about it. If you don’t like soft/mushy texture this might be for you. It’s hard to describe. Lunch special — comes with miso soup and salad. Wish the salmon was grilled a little more but the flavor a for all three was very good. Popcorn Lobster — Bomb!!! The portion is huge, nice sauce, and great flavor. Only complaint wish had more of a «lobster bang in your face taste» but overall definitely the star of the lunch today. Nice service, clean, and food is very good.

It’s been a while since I’d been here. Rolls are much smaller and cut poor. Falls apart easily. Watch out for the low sodium soy sauce tastes like regular.

Enjoyed this place a couple times for lunch. Reasonable prices for very generous portions. My California rolls were the diameter of my Coke can! Interior is a bit to be desired, folding chairs and tables cover half the eating area. No soda fountain, only cans and bottles but if that helps keep costs down, that’s fine by me. Asian couple run the place. She runs the counter and he is the sushi chef. Very nice man who genuinely asked how I enjoyed the food. Fish quality is above average for the cost. This place is on my short list of local lunch spots.

Came at lunch with our 2 little ones, hubby, & I. We ordered beef teriyaki & California roll combo, Udon & California roll combo, crunch roll, &4 pc California roll Good size rolls, tasty, & filling — we shared everything & had leftover rolls(Daddy finished them later) Service was friendly & fast. Only negative was that parking was a bit challenging since it is in a food court in industrial area. Had to drive around for 15 mins til a spot opened up.

This place gives you massive portions. The sushi takes pretty decent and the portion is worth the price. I bought a popcorn lobster roll for $ 14 something(tax included). The workers were nice and the place was clean

One word: delicious! It’s a must try if you’re in the area. Only downside is the surroundings, it’s an industrial area so that might discourage people from eating here. But it’s a must try!

Wow!!! The rolls were absolutely delicious! Not only were they delicious the rolls are very big and well worth every penny. The prices are not bad but you do get what you pay for and you definitely get delicious food here. I had the Mexican and pop corn lobster rolls and I will definitely be getting them again. And please do not let the scenery make you think about it because I’ve made that mistake before. And the food turned out to be so good just like this place. MUSTTRY!

Don’t let the looks of this place fool you. Restaurant set up is order/pay at the counter, and the food is delivered to your table. Quality of the food is relatively good, and the portions are really big. I love this spot for lunch. Check it out! ENJOY!

Love this place for lunch! Very good sushi, quality food, huge portions. The lunch combo prices are reasonable. Service is quick, the staff are polite. I like to call in my order so it’s ready for pick up so I don’t waste my lunch break waiting. It can get busy during typical lunch hours, but luckily for me, they open early!

I waited for thirty minutes, then finally got up to check on my order. Someone else was digging into my bento box. I confronted the staff about it and they tried to deny. She grabbed the dish back from the other guy and I replied, «I’m not going to eat that…» I asked for a refund on my meal, to which they only returned the amount for Ehr bento box, not the 2pc sushi I ordered too(which they didn’t screw up). For the inconvenience, they should have returned the full amount. The atmosphere was dark and dirty. The bathroom was filthy. The music was some annoying techno remix of «take me to church»… 90% terrible experience. The only salvation was the little snack of salmon I had for lunch before having to race back to work for a meeting… Don’t mother with this place. There are better experiences nearby.

J roll is amazeballs & their spicy tuna bowl hits the spot! The rolls are big & they are not skimpy w/the meat, it has a great amount. Worth every penny. Always fresh, so this place is a true gem.

Was I in heaven or what?! The popcorn lobster rolls are amazing, the crisp on the lobster is so good, combined with the ginger. The dragon rolls are incredible, that eel is yummy. Ummm. The shrimp tempura is so good as well. It’s a bit pricy but the quality you get is amazing. There are about 8 rolls for each order, which the rolls are huge. It’s always better to order by phone. At lunch time the hold is about 20mins per order.

Sushi in Compton. I might be wrong, but to my knowledge this is the only one I know off in the city of Compton. It’s a fast food sushi place. You go to the counter and order your food, you get a number and they bring it out to your table. The menu consist of sushi rolls, nigiri sushi, sashimi, tempura & teriyaki dishes. I believe most of their business is take out orders. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The place is clean. Service is friendly and fast. I’ve been here a couple of times and had the following dishes: Spicy Tuna Bowl — it was a good sized bowl. Lots of spicy tuna in it, very tasty and not too spicy. I like this dish. Salmon Teriyaki lunch special — salmon was cooked perfectly. The teriyaki sauce is not too sweet, just the way I like it. The lunch special includes one scoop of rice, miso soup & salad. The downside, it was a small piece of salmon. It tasted good, just not a lot of it. I was still hungry after this meal. I’ll pass on this dish next time. Pricing is okay. Lunch specials are under $ 10. Sushi rolls average out to $ 10. Its a good place to get Japanese food including sushi, a solid 3 Star place.
