I placed a pick up order and arrived to the location 10 minutes later after the call. I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes now and I’ve seen orders placed after mine given out. What’s the deal?

Over priced for their quality meat. Food just okay. Lady who answers phone is very rude!!! I don’t come here much because I don’t like dealing with her and her bad attitude.

The food and the service was good. The place looked clean. I have no complaints. They even has grilled peppers and I enjoyed them. I was happy with the portion sizes and I actually had two meals from one bowl.

Great food but the cashier is very rude. So I can only provide the establishment with 3 stars. The chicken and rice was good with a reasonable price. Someone needs to discipline this cashier or maybe find another one.

I’ve eaten at many teriyaki joints and this has got to be one of the best tasting places. The sauces the meat everything was just perfect. Meat is not burnt. I think they read these reviews and make adjustments nicely. This is a sign of a good business and one that cares about their craft. Parking is not bad and the place is clean. I crave this stuff and when I lived closer to this place I would go 2 – 3 times a week. For the price and the taste can’t beat it.

Quick & Easy. Simple as that. Definitely phone in your orders if you’re trying to pick up lunch for your break or for the family, especially if you don’t like waiting. Whenever I do a walk-in, the cashier has to answer the phone and take the phone-in orders. So even if it was your turn next, they’ll place the phone-in before yours. NBD though, Thalia is very sweet and calm even during rush. I always get Thalia when I’m here. She’s so nice, doesn’t rush you when it’s your turn – she even compliments people. She’s your girl! As for the entrees, you cannot. I repeat, you cannot go wrong with chicken or beef teriyaki! They have 4 different sizes, I tend to go with the medium bowls since they’re a perfect size – one serving. Sometimes I’d do a plate size and share with someone, but it gets messy. During lunch time, a lot of men come in for pick-ups or walk-ins since there are a few auto repair shops in the area. Don’t be intimated, they’re a regular! Don’t hesitate to make conversations either, maybe you’ll get a hook up for your car! ;P –1 star for the super duper tight parking lot. There’s a 3o-minute limit and it’s a shared parking lot with FedEx Office.

Excellent chicken teriyaki in Carson. The portion is big and filling. Great bang for your buck. Can’t wait to go back!

***Got Food Poisoning same night*** My boyfriend and I went here on a Monday night around 7:30. Once upon arrival the young guy at the cash register said they were out of chicken 20 minutes ago and only had beef. So I got the beef plate and asked to add avocado. Once I got my plate my avocado wasn’t even in there! It’s one thing if you’re out of food… it’s another if you forget to listen and add the correct order. The cashier had terrible customer service and didn’t really care. It made my 1st eating experience unpleasant… Not only were they out of chicken, got my order incorrect… the tables were dirty, floors were sticky, the condiment section just didn’t seem sanitary. There’s hot sauce dripped and stained around the top of the bottle. Food was just ok. I thought the gyoza dumplings were the best part of the plate. Would I come back here? Heck No!!! Unilocalers beware! I rather spend my money somewhere else not to get sick, for better quality service, clean sanitary conditions, and bomb ass food.

Nice, small place in the back of a small eating/shopping complex. Service is just okay. Teriyaki bowls come in different sizes. Bowls come with meat and green onions so if you want veggies, ask. Or, if you’re a vegetarian, ask for a veggie(only) bowl. Teriyaki sauce is not too thick or sweet, which is good.

I came here to eat while I waited for my car to be finished at Just Tires. I ordered the beef bowl with veggies. After patiently waiting 28 mins for my order, I was more than a bit irritated when I started eating and realized that majority of the meat was burnt. I’m not talking well done, I’m talking char black and rock hard. I politely took it back to the counter and asked for a new bowl. The lady caught an attitude but said she would get another one made for me. It only took about 5 minutes for the new bowl but the meat and the veggies were cold. I’m mean, not even room temperature. After spending $ 10 for the bowl and a small drink I was really through at this point. Needless to say I will never eat here again…

This is one of my go to places for teriyaki chicken. The chicken is charbroiled a little longer than usual, but that’s how I like mine. The teriyaki sauce is not too sweet and not too thick like other places. Another reason I like coming here is because I prefer my dumplings lightly fried instead of steamed, and they do them perfectly here. They have a limited amount of seating and a television. The service is pretty basic, nothing stands out.

Food is great. Even the cook has great customer service but the lady that take your order acts like she is doing you a favor. Bad attitude.

Food is so good! I recommend the beef teriyaki and rice bowl with fresh avocado. But if you’re looking to get REALBADCUSTOMERSERVICECOMETOTHISPLACE! The slightly over weight Hispanic lady messed up my order and didn’t apologize. No smile. No feeling. Is she a rude robot? Lmao

Food is good but customer service is bad. Cashier texting and taking a order at the same time. Then when took my debit card she didn’t even hand it back to me. The cashier daughter running around the restaurant.

I went last Friday around 5:30 to 6p.m. 1. Cashier seemed rushed with me n not friendly. This was my 1st time going there. There wasn’t anyone behind me, so i didn’t understand the rush she was in. When i sat down to wait, a male customer came in and she was friendly. :| 2. 70% of my beef was burned. I found myself picking out the burn parts out of my meat and rice because it wasn’t edible! The flavor was good but they ruined my beef! I really hate it when I try new places n I get bad results!!! :/ 3. If you are looking for good crunchy dumplings .this is the place. Picture posted

My coworker picked up lunch from here once and it smelled really good so i decided to try it. I called ahead for pick up. Ordered a beef and chicken plate with avacado.(saw the pictures on Unilocal.). The plate comes with 2 pc gyoza and salad. I like the beef more than the chicken, but the beef is a little too sweet. The portion was huge. I got 3 meals out of the plate. The parking is a bit tricky for me, there is a section for the AT&T and Quizno, then another section for Tokyo Grill and FedEx. I would definately come back to this place

Chicken teriyaki is good. Beef teriyaki is ehhhh. won’t order again not tender enough. Teriyaki sauce is good not to thick and not overly sweetened. I had avacado on top of my teriyaki which is always a favorite of mine. The place is clean, but hidden behind another business when you walk up. My kids liked it and it works for me so we will be back.

GRILL up some food in TOKYO I thought I could get away without having breakfast and I did ONLY to be STARVING like a hostage with my stomach twisting around my spine at lunch time! Lucky for me the guys I work with are early eaters so as the clock strikes 11am they are ready to go grab some lunch! After I asked if I could join to party they mentioned they were going to the chicken bowl. I found out later it was actually called TOKYOGRILL! I quickly pulled it up on my Unilocal app to see what people were saying about it and I was a little afraid after reading some of the reviews! This place is like a Yoshinoya which used to be everywhere back in the day but have dwindled in numbers over the years! Peoples taste change or they changed the food. Either way I don’t see many of them around anymore at least I don’t think there is a single one in the OC! GOTEB1 and 2 from work ordered medium chicken bowls with avocado. I got a small chicken bowl and some gyoza and something to drink. I figured I would keep it simple! No one with remedial cooking skills should mess up chicken and rice with some teriyaki sauce on top! There is really no skill involved in making either item! Well I was right and it was RATHERGOOD! The chicken was tender and I didn’t get any gristle or fatty pieces! I HATETHAT! The rice was just enough and NOT over the top! It was COOKEDWELL and WASN’T CRUNCHY! I probably should have gotten the avocado like my two GOTEBS did! They give you a nice amount of avocado NOSKIMPINGHERE! The gyoza was REALLYGOOD! Probably one of most favorite things to eat as a snack and they pan/grill fry theirs so they are nice and CRUNCHY but NOTGREASY! That was AWESOME! The last thing I need is to taste my lunch for the remainder of the day because it won’t digest due to being over saturated with grease! HATETHAT! The service was GOOD! The young lady was pleasant, smiled and did her JOBADAQUATELY! They call your number loud enough for you to hear so you can walk up to the counter and pick up your lunch and they put all our lunches together on one try which was nice! We didn’t have to wait for each person to get there food! The food was nice and hot and they provide a fork and napkins without us having to ask plus there are extra napkins on the table! If you’re into chopsticks they have some here as well you just have to ask but I tend to be a bit of a chopstick snob and like using the REAL ones NOT the wooden kinds you get splinters from! I keep a few pair in my desk drawers for those sushi days! They also have extra teriyaki sauce if you want more on your food! They don’t overdo it but you can! And they keep a couple spicy sauces if that is your thing! It’s NOT mine so I can’t tell you the names! Overall I’d go back for a quick meal or lunch time! It was SATISFYING and GOOD for a laid back type lunch without the fuss!
