History

Established in 1924.

Started in 1924 by our grandfather William R Werkhaven, a jeweler and watchrepair man. He kept the business alive through the depreciation in part by making his own watch repair oil «Werco Oil «.

After returning from WWII our father, Dick Werkhaven, joined the business and eventually took over after grandpa’s early passing. Our mother is still a large part of the businees, answering the phones and helping with orders and shipping.

We are now a third generation business run by Bill Werkhaven, Gloria W. Schreiner and Lynn Werkhaven. Our goldsmith, Bonnie Moseley, is a great help and is available for any techincal questions.

2012 marks our 88th year in the jewelry & tool supply business.
