Established in 2010.

Executive producer/​director, Lauren Lawson has been planning weddings/​events for over 20 years for friends and family. After interning for a well known Columbus area planner for over 2 years VIP was established and is now planning over 15 weddings a year and looking to grow!

Born and raised in Ohio, Lauren is a true Buckeye at heart and brings her passion for event planning in Columbus to a new level. For the past decade Lauren has been involved in the coordination of many events for family and friends. Her enthusiasm grew stronger and she knew this was more than just a hobby and she began her career.

She married Ruston in 2010 thanks to EHarmony and together they have an adorable little Yorkipoo, Camden!

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are of the utmost importance to her when planning any event! Her ability to bring each couple’s unique story to their event has won the affection of numerous brides and grooms. Lauren takes great pride in pleasing her clients and her willingness to go above and beyond makes her a favorite among local clients.
