some of the best tacos in c-bus — not much more to say! the rating is actually 4.5 stars… lose the half-pt for being closed on sun when I usually need some recovery tacos ;)

Cheap, always pretty quick(even when the lines are long, and they do get long on nice days around lunchtime) and delicious food. My favorites are the al pastor and hot salsa. They’re located right outside Las Maravillas Mexican Market, which sells cold drinks and allows you to pay for your food with a credit card if you don’t have cash for the truck.

This place is a gem. I usually go to juniors across the street, but haven’t really been thrilled with it in a while. I was passin through and saw this truck was open so I figured I might as well give it go — am I glad I did. I got the pastor and the chicken, with some guacamole to take home. Steal was good but the pastor blows Juniors out of the water! The guac was also *excellent*. I’ll be back!

Just ate the best chicken and green chili tamales in Columbus! So good I ordered 8 to take home Masa is thin, green Chile sauce has the perfect kick, and the chicken is not dry Planning to become a familiar face at this truck!

Los Primos is a hot spot for me and my co-workers to get amazing Hispanic food. I first came here with a friend a couple of years back and after recently relocating employment nearby, I frequent this location a couple of times per month. The food here is the real deal. Great tacos and enchiladas. They take a bit long to fix your food but it is ALWAYS fresh.

I was all set to hit up Junior’s last night, which used to be one of my favorite trucks in the city. I’ve seen the quality decline in the year and a half I’ve lived here, so now I just get it when I’m in a taco pinch and can’t get up to Taquequin. But something told me to go across the street to the other truck that doesn’t seem to get much attention. Los Primos is a gem. We got steak tacos and an al pastor torta. Honestly, I think I’ve found yet another taco truck that I’d call the best in the city. The tacos were perfect. For $ 1.50 they were served on perfectly warmed double corn tortillas with the perfect amount of perfectly chopped cilantro and onion. Yes, that’s a lot of perfect going on. The meat was hot, juicy and tender, even after I brought it home. Perfectly seasoned, it didn’t really need anything else, but I decided to throw on a pinch of lime and try the sauces. The green sauce is great. It’s not too tangy, too salty, or too watered down as they tend to be. The red sauce is spicy and medium-smoky. Probably a good amount of adobo based on the color and consistency. Any combination of green, red, lime, or no sauce at all was just right for these tacos. I couldn’t find a losing combo! The torta was insanely good. The bread was chewy in the inside with the right amount of flaky/crunchiness on the outside. The al pastor was marinated in a rich and tangy sauce, cooked until tender. Probably not done on a spit, but it didn’t matter: this was some of the best al pastor I’ve ever had.

This is the same place as Taqueria Davanne. The owners of TD decided to move back to Mexico, so several family members now own the truck under the name«Taqueria Los Primos». I got the enchilada dinner(two chicken enchiladas with green sauce, rice, and beans) for $ 6. It’s a ton of food, and it was pretty tasty. The truck takes Visa and cash.
