. 99 percent of the employees are trash and the food sucks, FYI they keep it on the floor in the walk in

Wanna know something strange? I go to the Casino some times, but I don’t even gamble. Sunday mornings there are SLOW. If you don’t like the craziness of Saturday nights, and detest walking –2 miles per hour behind Grandma and her Scooter, or just don’t like the high table min bets of prime time, then stop by on a Sunday Morning. I’ve been solely to Take 2 Grill for their breakfast. I couldn’t say I’d want to come here for lunch, or dinner. It just seems like boring and run of the mill food at that point, but I seriously liked my breakfast here. It’s not some laid out sprawl of greatness. If you’re still looking for fancy breakfast with large sides, then you may want to think about Bob Evan’s, or TeeJay’s, but for a step above fast food breakfast, I come here. The wait times here are unfortunately. well… Not quick. You’re looking about a ten minute wait time for food. This was explained, because there’s actually a cook in the back making everything and I guess you can tell, the food’s not too shabby. My número uno choice is the breakfast pizzas. Sausage gravy, and eggs on top of a biscuit crust then baked to perfection with a nice well done cheese crust on the top. It makes me happy. It’s cheap, processed goodness, and my breakfast guilty pleasure. Everyone else must like them, too, because I have stopped by on the weekend before and they were all sold out, which lead me to my next choice. The Breakfast burritos here are A-OK, too! Again, it’s everything breakfast plus a pepper blend, rolled up into a thick tortilla, then sliced in two and served with a cheap triangle hash brown and some orange slices. It’s filling. It’s enough to keep me full well beyond lunch time. Aside from breakfast, they serve Starbucks coffee, delicious looking desserts and pastries, and a few other items. If they really wanted to make a killing, then they’d lower their prices by at least a dollar, but other than that, it’s not too bad. Don’t know if I’d drive across town to come here, but if you’re in the hood and McDonald’s isn’t doing it for you, then stop by and drop a quarter, or two in the slot machines.

EW! I should have eaten before coming to the casino. We needed a quick bite to eat and this fast grab & go café situation inside Hollywood seemed optimal. My friend got the Chicken Fingers Basket with fries($ 9) and it looked pretty normal. I got the«Broiled Chicken Sandwich»($ 8) and OMG it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever ordered. For some reason they gave me 2 pieces of chicken and one of them had a disgusting 1/3″ thick flap of fat and skin still attached to it. Like, the size of the entire piece of chicken. I nearly gagged but just hid it under some napkins and ate a ketchup & relish sandwich. The fries were okay… I only ate anything because I didn’t want to drink on an empty stomach. Looking back, I wish I’d just pitched everything. If you do decide to eat here — DON’T get the chicken sandwich. Better idea, eat anywhere else.

Inside of Hollywood Casino. Good selection on menu. Cheeseburgers, Jumbo Hot Dogs, Chicken Sandwich, Pizza, Chicken Tenders, Fish & Chips, Grilled Ham & Cheese, several types of Salads a couple types of wraps. Starbucks coffee! Plenty of drinks and desserts. And homemade Fudge! Tip: if you just drink water or a soda, get it for free in the Casino and bring it with you. They charge for it in the deli.

Had planned to go here, but after seeing the limited menu I hit the buffet next door. Hot dogs, fries, etc., but not much more. Handy for a snack while you’re here. My interest was due to it being open 24 hours– I could stop in at any time of the night, so it’s handy for me and I still might do that. There’s an impressive dessert case, so I got a macaroon. Yes, not macaron, and I’m glad they spelled it that way because it was unlike any macaron I’ve had. It’s a pity they put so much energy into making it, because they could have just made a paste of sugar, flour, and water– that’s what it tasted like. Sad. Service was very friendly and efficient. The place is fairly small(at least relative to the casino) but clean and welcoming. I might be back for a late-night meal.
