Sad to make this review, it use to be a 4⁄5 star place. We were regulars the first couple years they were open. At one time it was a fun, clean place to go with great food and service. We took out of state friends for the first time in a few years this summer and both the food and service were terrible. Hoping it was just a bad night, we went back for dinner tonight and it was even worse. The weather is bad so it wasn’t crowded, the 3 girls chatting at the hostess stand ignored us, acted like couldn’t figure out why we were standing in front of them. You are hit with a stench of old fryer grease when you walk in, the place is filthy! Cobwebs, fingerprint, grease everywhere. Our server was terrible. The food was just as bad, the«loaded» fries came with about a tablespoon of what tasted like fake bacon on top. I can’t imagine them staying open much longer unless they close down for a couple weeks, deep clean and retrain the staff!

Tuesday all-you-can-eat wing night here are packed for a reason, it’s worth it. I vote this pace as #1 for wing sauce selection, Arizona ranch and Louisiana Lickers are my favorites(both are sold in bottles at the store and Giant Eagle). I’ve been told their ribs are awesome but I’ve never had them. The only reason this isn’t a five star is their pricing on wings on a normal basis. They neither price by the wing or the pound, they only tell you how many wings you get at least. Even with the«free celery or carrots and ranch or bleu cheese dressing» the price is over a buck a wing! 7 $ for 5 wings? 33 $ for 30? No way. I bought a fryer and a few bottles of their wing sauce and I’m all set. 24 – 30 wings might cost 9 $ for the wings and a 6 $ bottle of sauce will cover several batches of wings. Plus, I get them extra crispy the way I like them without having to wonder if that request is honored.

Im a huge fan of QS&L. Chicken wings are my absolute favorite food in the world so I consider myself a wing snab of sorts. The big hit here is the sauce selections, so many of them are deicious. The ones i have to mostly recommend are arizona ranch, golden garlic, thai r cracker and buckeye bbq. All are quite delicious. Im trying to get the courage up to try the triple atomic challenge! Dont forget to pair those wings with a lube tube!

Lunch buffet on the weekdays is a quick and easy stop! And if they don’t have the wings you want on the buffet they will special make them for you!

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere! The lube has a fantastic staff who is warm and welcoming. Not only does it have fantastic wing flavors and great food but it is a great place for kids, parties of any sort, and travelers. The artifacts and history of the place is amazing and there’s always something exciting happening at Quaker. Go get saucy my friends.

This place is gross! I haven’t been to this location for awhile and will never venture to it again. The last time I dinned here I ordered carry out and decided to have a drink at the bar. The bartender rude. But, there has to be more for the two star review? The smell of this place was comparable to a bar yard. The place was extremely filthy. After getting my food and seeing the environment, I didn’t even want to eat it. However, I did and the wings were excellent. But man… this place needs a face lift. My advice to management is close the place for 3 or 4 days and do a serious cleaning. Maybe they will have more people dine here besides the bikers on bike night. If they don’t make the changes I can see this place losing business to the new tenets that are now occupying the Polaris area.

Don’t bother coming here… Takes 40 minutes plus to get chicken wings and a salad on a Sunday afternoon at 2PM? Unacceptable.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Quaker Steak, and that’s only partly by choice. If this place wasn’t all the way up at Polaris, I’d probably be here more often for wing night than BW3’s. Is either one my favorite in the wing department? No, but they offer a whole lot of sauces and rubs and pretty cheap pricing just about as great as anyone. Not to mention, they are great places to catch a game. So what do I like better about Quaker Steak? Their wing night on Tuesdays offer s unlimited wings and fries for $ 12.99. Considering how much BW3’s has been raising their wing prices, and the fact that I usually get an extra side their, this is the better deal for me. If you’re not into eating a ton of wings, I don’t recommend Quaker Steak wing night, because you probably won’t get your money’s worth. However, the seasoning on the fries is down right addictive. The second thing that Quaker Steak has is an incredible lunch buffet for $ 9.99. Check the website for what’s on the menu each day, because it changes, but they always have wings! Not only do they have the two flavors out on the buffet, but if you want a different flavor, you can ask your server for it, and they’ll bring it out to you as part of the buffet. So, yes, it’s all-you-can-eat wings for a cheaper price, plus you get all the additional items on the buffet! Also, our bartender told us the wings are a bit fresher as well. The lunch buffet runs Mon-Fri from 11 – 2 pm, so I can’t usually get over here for it even though I’ve had it in the past. If you’re near Polaris though and don’t mind feeling like a whale for the rest of the afternoon, then this is a great option. Overall, when it comes to wings in Columbus, I’ll stick to places like Smokehouse Brewing and a few others closer to my place, but if I’m trying to indulge and get the best bang for my buck, I’d head up to Quaker Steak. It’s fun trying all the different sauces even if the wings aren’t the very best, but if you know what you’re getting into, then you’ll most likely enjoy yourself!

My husband and I used to visit this place pretty often. On Tuesday nights, they do all you can eat wings for about $ 15 a person. that was a little steep for us to do on a weekly basis, so we reined it in and only go a few times a year. We recently visited with a bunch of our friends who have never been just for all you can eat wings. the wings were pretty good, and everyone really liked the fries. What made this experience worthwhile was the waitress. I wish I would have gotten her name. She was FANTASTIC! She was funny and had a great sense of humor. She made us laugh. One of my friends ordered the Triple Atomic wings as a reorder, and she’s like«Are you sure you want that?» And he’s like«Absolutely!» She ended up bringing out pitchers of water for our table like 5 times. our friends had to ask for milk and she just laughed and was like«I told you so!» It was great!

This was my first time ever eating here and I had high expectations, especially since they claim their wings are the best. I was not impressed whatsoever. My wings were so greasy I was nauseas before the check even came. The race car décor is a little to redneckish for me, too. I probably won’t be back. I’d rather get Rooster’s wings or Jet’s.

Absolutely terrible service. Expensive. After years of hype about their wings i finally went. Nasty bar food is what i got. The kind you order at a hole in the wall bar that smells of pee and cigs. The wings were soggy. The salad didn’t have half of the ingredients that were listed. Over all extremely disapointed. I would never return.

This place needs to be EXPUNGED immediately. I arrived there the other day and was absolutely astounded by the low quality food. If I recall, the wings, priced at $ 1.50 per, were the worst I’ve ever tasted. They were reminiscent of a waterfall – they were the runniest, wateriest creation ever produced. I still beat myself up about wasting $ 16 for the wateriest wings that mankind has ever seen. I highly recommend NOT going here.

Overall the experience was average. The service was not anything exceptional. I felt it could have been better considering it was past 8PM and didn’t appear to be very busy in the section we were sitting. We got the pretzels and cheese sauce to start. They were decent. Nothing spectacular. It seemed that they were frozen and just reheated. I would not recommend ordering these. As for the wings, they were cooked well! I got the Louisiana Lickers sauce on regular bone-in wings. It was coated with the right amount of sauce and had great flavor. In addition, I got the loaded fries. Those were very good as well! If you aren’t familiar with the Polaris area. Make sure you pay close attention to where you are driving as the building can be hard to find. It is on the left hand side of Polaris Parkway if you are headed west by the Wendy’s.

Great wings and ice cold beer! Two things that just go hand in hand! This place does them both well. My first visit just happened to be on their AYCE wings on Tuesday. I was really happy because it gave me the chance to sample a few of their sauces. They were all very good. I did find that they wasn’t much heat unless you selected on of the top 3 sauces on their heat scale. The bartender did a great job and handled a full bar extremely well. I will definitely be back to check this out again! I highly recommend the wings with the Thai Cracker sauce!

You know, I’ve been meaning to try this place out but just didn’t have a reason to. It’s not in my neck of the woods, and always seems busy. But I love wings, and heard they were good here. Since I had some time to kill in the area, I headed in. And: lunch buffet! $ 10 for wings, sides, dessert salad. A nice spread, fresh and well-kept. I knew I wanted wings, and there were three on the buffet: dry rub chipotle, garlic, and«haute parm.» All were good– meaty, interesting flavors. I had some salad to be healthy, and of course pierogi(meh) and corn nuggets(mmm.) I think there was spaghetti, mac and cheese, etc. I read the reviews and saw the Arizona Ranch was a fave, but it wasn’t on the buffet. My server said if I wanted to try a flavor they’d make some, so I said sure, thinking it would be next in the buffet rotation. Nope– he brought a tray of 10 or so to my table. No charge, and if I’d wanted more I could have had them. The ranch was indeed very good– creamy, a little spicy, very flavorful. Hm. For big chain wings, I’d compare them to Roosters: good, not great. My own chain wing ranking would be: Harry Buffalo on top, Roosters and Quaker Steak tied in the middle, BW3 on the bottom(not that they’re awful, just not that great anymore.) Service was good, the place has interesting décor, and I will definitely keep them in mind now.

I’ve never been to a Quakers before but whenever friends and I would discuss where to find the best wings, Quakers frequently came up. So I decided to finally check out the hype, and happy to say, they lived up to it. This location is sort of hidden and easy to pass if you’re just coming off the freeway. It’s pretty huge once you step inside, nice diverse atmosphere, you got families, groups of friends and couples on dates. As for the food, we ordered the 15 jumbo wings and the Tex Mex burger. I had half my wings dry seasoned with dusted mango habanero and the other half the lubes siracha. You can taste a hint of the mango in the dry seasoning which is great since I love anything mango related. The siracha sauce was delicious as well. When they say jumbo wings, they really do mean they’re jumbo. Biggest wings I’ve had. Waitress was lovely, nice and eager to help us out with choosing from the menu since it was our first time. The Tex Mex burger was cooked well and the toppings complimented it well. It was a huge burger. Regardless of what you get you’re most likely going to go home stuffed. Enjoy your time here!

I didn’t even want to come here and I ended up loving it. And yes my 5 star rating is based solely on a burger. The Tex-Mex burger was everything I could ever ask for in a burger. I will dream of that burger. It’s the kind of meal you are sad to finish because it’s just that good that you never want it to end. Did I just fall in love with a burger? What is happening Anyways, moral of the story here, don’t judge a book by its cover. The name and exterior of this place make it seem like an auto shop, but don’t let that discourage you. Wonderful things await you inside.

These are my favorite wings in the world. First off their Medium or Hot, Buffalo sauce is the standard by which I judge all other«traditional» wing sauces. In addition, their golden garlic, Louisiana lickers and honey mustard sauces are all great. When I write my wing list, this will be #1. Fries, Salads and onion rings are fresh and good compliments to the wings. However, as a an overall experience, the restaurant is often very loud. The service is often slow, which causes beer to be warm after ordering it. I have had my bill come with incorrect charges. Yes it is a hectic environment, but they just need to dot«i’s» and cross«t’s».

This Quaker Steak & Lube is pretty much just like all the other one’s I’ve been too. The food is the same. I love the fried pickles and onion rings. I really feel like the quality of wings has went down the last few times I’ve been. I used to love wings and the sauces, but just find them so-so now. Last time I was here I tried the Nacho Momma’s Taco Salad and was impressed. I would definitely get it again, but without chicken instead. I found the beef to be a bit dry, but with the salad dressing it was fine. Overall, nice location, right off the highway, good atmosphere, and good food. We will be back again.
