Came here for dinner because I was traveling to Columbus for work. I got the chicken diavlo and it was at most mediocre. The pasta was too dry and the bread was too garlicy. Oh well. I won’t be back any time soon.

I frequent this Piada on the way home from work. Since it’s conveniently located off the highway, I come quite often to pick up dinner. I had previously been to the Bexley location and both my husband and I loved it. I’m glad we now have this location as an option as well. As far as this location is concerned, it is delicious! I always get the pasta. I especially like to load it up with extra sauce(Diablo and marina) with roasted red peppers and tomatoes. Everyday something different depending on my mood. They move quickly to complete the order. I can be in and out in five minutes if the line is short, and normally it is. The reason I wouldn’t give it five stars is because this location doesn’t have meatballs, which are awesome at the Bexley location. Also the staff can be a little flighty at the register chatting with friends. All in all, I love coming here even though I wish they had meatballs.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere! One of the first places we ever tried when we moved out here.

I have to say I was disappointed with the service on Saturday. I ordered and paid online, and when I went to pick it up, I was told by(I am assuming) the manager that they wait until the last minute to make it up so that the pasta isn’t sitting around. Um, I didn’t order pasta, I ordered a salad, but okay. Then, he said they didn’t have the Piada Sticks made and offered me 2 garlic breads instead. I agreed, but the bottom line is, they weren’t nearly as good and I didn’t want them. I will think twice before I order from this location again even though it’s the closest to me.

Staff was very accommodating and explained the menu and options very well to my friend who was new there. I got the calamari salad which is always a delight! I also was convicted of trying the peach Bellini which was so refreshing. A bit too sweet but I’d get it again if I were in the mood.

I myself have never been to one before, but have had many friends who have, so this was my first time. This is the Chipotle of Italian food. The concept works fairly well and wasn’t too confusing for me. From what I gathered, there’s about three main options, Salads, Pasta bowls, and Piadas(they look like an Italian burrito). They also offer several soups, some side breads and piada sticks(fancied up bread w/pepperoni or some cheese(they smell good, as I first have seen these while attending a concert at the LC Pavillion). Location is spacious and was very clean. Service went quickly and smooth.

We got to this Piada around 12:15, and it was not busy at all. No line. We got right up to the counter and decided. I still had my free-meal card I received from the Unilocal Elite event Bryant put on last year, so I was glad I could finally use it(there’s no Piada out east). Me? Chicken Carbonara with extra meat. Had all kinds of veggies added — yum! The dish had decent flavor. This time definitely hot with steam rolling off the top. Most noticeable negative? Quite salty. The Alfredo sauce? The few strips of bacon? Too much salt on the pasta(so it won’t stick)? Hmmm…

I’m pregnant and very picky. I wasn’t feeling well so I sent my husband out to get take-out(thanks to suggestions from the Hilliard Goods and Services Facebook group we picked Piada!). It was light enough for my pregnant belly but enough to fill me up– which is hard to do lately! Everything on the menu sounded good so we got a whole bunch of stuff and shared it. All of it was fabulous! We got the steak and chicken piada, the piada stick and the pasta carbonara street bowl(which was basically a spaghetti salad, yum!) My only regret was that I wasn’t feeling good enough to go out, my husband said the restaurant was beautiful and I would have loved it.

Tasty pasta bowls, the fiancé likes the rolls here. It is disappointing that they got rid of the fresh mozzarella balls, they were my favorite topping. I am happy to see some new things on the menu, and will give them a try soon.

The pepperoni stick– so good! Great snack to eat while driving home after picking up your piada to go. Cannoli chips– creepy good. Like… Really suspiciously good. Pasta bowl, still solid.

One of my favorite spots. A little on the pricey side for street food but very good overall. Make sure you get a pepperoni stick & creamy italian dressing!

Only OK. A sort of fast food. Similar style to panda express. Staff was friendly. I had the basalmic chicken salad. Good flavor but very little chicken. The pretzel sick was tasty.

This place was delicous. However, I couldn’t understand a word from the ladies serving my food. Also I was confused because I’ve never been there and they weren’t too nice in that department about explaining what was going on. It was a guessing game of what I was getting and what I could pick. I was rushed through the line and hurried. I felt like if the servers took there time and let me ask questions I would’ve picked a better meal. They made me feel pretty dumb. The food was okay, the pepperoni stick was the best. The chicken wrap was strange.

Pretty solid quick pasta option. Am more of a fan of the meatball + red sauce than the chicken and cream sauce. Also not too hype on the breadstick things but could see how some people are into them so think it’s more preference than quality . Overall can’t go too wrong, but was not passionately planning another visit either.

Although I’ve found this location to be a little hit or miss, most of the time I have great food here. Came here for lunch and they were very busy with a line of people. The service was fast and attentive and I got through pretty quickly. Ordered a Tuscan Chicken Salad and brought it home, it was fantastic! I love their chicken fritte piadas, but a word of advice: order extra chicken because their meat servings are pretty small.

My first impression walking in was positive. Clean and simple décor. There were two people in front of me and I noticed they had to ask the two girls making their dishes to repeat themselves repetitively because their accents made it challenging to understand what they were asking. When asked for my order, the girl immediately made a mistake and put a topping on that I didn’t order — no big deal. As I moved along I also found myself having to ask the girls to repeat themselves multiple times. I ordered a side salad and noticed that they had mixed a good deal of obviously old, shredded iceberg lettuce in with the spring mix. This place is similar to a Chipotle in the way you order and how it’s processed. One of the issues I had was the speed in which they try to run you through the line… as quickly as possible. You actually feel hurried, which I can appreciate when things are busy but it was 4:30 on Tuesday and there were only four of us in line. The steak in my Piada was chewy and I had several pieces left on the side of my plate because they were so grissely. I wanted to like this place but wasn’t impressed in the least.

Another Piada location to review, such fun! This location was not very busy when we went, and I feel like I was too rushed through the line. I know it is an assembly line operation, but some folks need a little time to ponder, especially since I was with two kids. The piada-makers weren’t very friendly, which overall lead this to be a bit of a turnoff. Other than that, everything was clean and neat and in order. If you haven’t been to Piada before, I suggest trying it at least twice. One time through will only leave you bewildered and wanting more. I would suggest ordering a «piada stick» as well since they taste delicious. «The Chipotle of Italian» has been said 100 times over and it still applies here. Order off the menu or create your own chipotle style italian burrito. Personally, I go for the salads with the wonderful creamy parm dressing. Every Piada I have been to in town has had fresh ingredients and now they serve massive meatballs! The meatballs were surprisingly good, and tasted almost of sitdown restaurant quality. I would order them again.

As I sit to write this review and think about Piada, I am already craving one of those dang pepperoni sticks! I’ve only been to Piada twice, and both times were at this location. I wish the staff had been a little more outgoing on my first visit in, as I was a noob and had only a vague understanding of how to build my piada(it’s similar to Chipotle). But, I made it through and picked just about every single roasted veggie on the bar, with a combo of pesto and diavolo sauce to finish(as suggested by my trusty food-builder). OMGYUM. I mean, it’s like a burrito made out of pita full of all of the italian/mediterranean flavors I love. Also, can we talk about the beverages? Wine on draft? Italian sodas? Heaven. If you’ve yet to visit, I would say it’s worth a stop in. It’s hard to find affordable food from a chain restaurant that’s this delicious!

Okay, I’m going to start this off by saying that my experience at Piada was NOT good. I’m still not sure what all the hype is about, because the food seriously was a major let down. We walked in right before dinner rush, which gave my husband and I a couple extra minutes to read over the menus. I get it’s the same ol’ rehashed Chipotle concept, but I wanted to see what featured Items they had to get me acquainted to this restaurant. I unfortunately picked very wrong. I felt like an old person having to ask«What?» About ten times to the lady working the Piada station. I don’t think I’ve ever had that much trouble even with the foreign workers at Chipotle and taco trucks. Speak up, Woman and ENUNCIATE! lol I ordered the Calamari Piada listed in their Chef Menu. Everything sounded great, the sauces, and other items listed, but again. huge let down. First let down was that they used fried calamari, and I get it. we’re in Ohio not on a coast, but I was still disappointed, and it really brought the food down a notch taste wise. I’m not crazy about deep fried anything anymore, so after I noticed that my heart sunk a little and my belly grumbled a little sadder. I took two bites of my food and decided no more. The husband ordered another feature. the Basil pesto pasta bowl, and the pasta was cold and HIGHLY inundated in basil. so much so that you were tasting it the next day. The chicken was tiny fragments of burned chicken. Again, MAJOR let down. He did not even finish his food, and I even attempted to try some of his to compensate that maybe I just made a bad choice, but even his was bad. We both left extremely hungry and disappointed having heard family and friends tout all about Piada’s greatness. It didn’t live up to the hype… nor expectations. I don’t know if I will be back anytime soon. Perhaps in the future. So why not one star? Well, I reached out to Piada to let them know about my experience, and not only did their home operations respond back, but I got an e-mail first from their store chef. Both were fairly generic responses, but at least they reached out. Some places can’t even do that. All around it was a big ol’ bowl(or Piada) of MEH and that’s my story.
