Midtown Obstetrics & Gynecology

Everyone there has been great and very helpful… Except the nurse that looks like a crackhead Barbie and brought me to tears today by refusing to give me more information about test results and treated me in the most condescending way, for simply worrying and having questions after I was not satisfied with simply being told I have «abnormal cells.» I don’t care if it’s common on not, I have an extensive medical history and don’t appreciate being talked to in a disrespectful manner, and was forced to storm out in tears after saying that out loud and still being treated like shit. One awful «nurse» is enough to ruin all other patient relations at that place. Such a shame!

This is a review that I’m hesitant about writing. It’s just a little uncomfortable reviewing a gynecologist. You won’t see any check-​ins from me when I have an appointment! LOL I’ll make this short and simple without too much TMI.
I’ve been a patient here for about 18 years. I’ve had two babies and been a patient of two doctors through this office. I started with Dr. Koerner, who left and I continued with Dr. Thompson. Both are excellent doctors — patient, knowledgable, and have great bedside manner.
The office is always clean and organized with convenient metered parking out front. The receptionists are top notch, always professional and friendly. For premium pregnancies they have a wonderful referral office they partner with. The office is very accommodating for emergency visits too.
Whether having a baby or just regular maintenance of the lady parts, I would strongly recommend Midtown, especially Dr. Thompson.

Pretty solid experience today. The doctor I saw was very professional and easy to talk to. They also give you a parking voucher for free parking in the Blue Garage on 6^th.

I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson for over 6 years and couldn’t be more pleased. This practice caters to all income levels and might not be the prettiest, but I like giving my insurance money to good physicians doing good work.
Dr. Thompson is young, professional and very easy to talk to. She asked me the first time we met if I preferred a Dr. that took awhile during your visit to talk and go through things or if I was more of a get-this-over-with-and-I’ll-see-you-next-year type of girl. I am the latter and she doesn’t disappoint. She makes sure to give you time to ask questions, otherwise she is capable and efficient and I’m rarely there longer than 30 minutes from paperwork to putting my shoes back on.
The staff are efficient (though can be slightly brisk), paperwork is easy and there is a solid system in place. If you want a spa experience during your annual visit, this ain’t it. But this is a once a year visit, I don’t put off– Midtown makes it pretty effortless.
