History

Established in 1981.

Master Mollica currently owns and operates the historic Ho-​I Kung-​Fu & Tai-​Chi Academy located in Columbus, OH. Ho-​I was the name given to the school by Grandmaster Ch’ang over twenty-​five years ago. It means to unite the families (styles) in harmony under one roof. Youth Kung Fu Class Inside Ho-​I

Master Mollica’s Kung-​Fu & Tai-​Chi Academy has 2,500 square feet of space, five skylights, eight hanging bags, full length mirrors, a full array of training equipment and a 7.5 ton heating and air conditioning unit.

Master Mollica studied directly from Grandmaster Chang Tung Sheng, Dr. Daniel Weng and Chang’s leading instructors including Gene Chicoine, Jeng Hsing Peng, John S. Wang, David Chi-​Kai Lin, and Jan Ming Wu in Shuai-​Chiao, and also with Grandmaster R.A. Greenlee in Shaolin Tiger Kung Fu. Master Mollica continues to study the Shuai-​Chiao Hidden Hands form with Master David Ch’ang, grandson of Grandmaster Ch’ang.

He has competed nationally and internationally in traditional Shuai-​Chiao and San Shou (full contact kung fu– including punching, kicking and throwing.)
