Spawning from the popular women’s only gym Curves, Aspire is now a boutique fitness studio offering options for beginner to maintenance to elite fitness levels, specializing in providing a non-traditional, encouraging, and unintimidating experience in one’s pursuit of health and happiness.
Aspire offers signature classes like «Stretch_Flex», which focuses on flexibility and core strengthening, or «Be_Super», a muscle specific strength training class that utilizes non-traditional gym equipment. The focus of Aspire’s classes and personal training is empowerment.
In addition, Aspire provides personalized fitness programs (free for people over the age of 65), goal setting resources, and 10 and 30 day challenge resources.
History
Established in 2001.
The business started as a Curve’s. It was converted into Aspire by the members and the previous owner Master Matthew Mollica from the Business above it. The members formed a Co-op group to look over the place and keep it in tip top shape. They decorated for every holiday, and held monthly lunches at a nearby diner. It became more of a community than just a place where women worked out.
3 more years later, Master Matthew Mollica hired, personal trainer Jes Bodimer to add personal training to the services offered. Mollica later offered to sell the business to her. She ran an indigogo campaign to raise the money to buy /take over the community that is Aspire. She is the current owner of the business, and has added many more services and interior improvements while maintaining the nonintimidating, highly encouraging, community environment.

Upon earning her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Jes Bodimer made it her mission to help switch the focus of the fitness industry to a preventative health care approach. She stands on the health promotion side of the industry today, promoting balance of energy intake and output. Jes helps people achieve their full potential through movement, education, and patience. Besides reaching your personal health & fitness goals when working with Jes, expect to gain a better understanding of the human body, basic exercise programing, and disease prevention methods. Whatever your level of fitness, or state of health Jes directs people toward health and happiness.
