I have avoided Mark Pi’s for awhile due to so many better options for Chinese. However i wasnt in the mood for Piada or any other place on this strip so i stopped in. I liked that you could try everything so i was able to get what i wanted — peppercorn and walnut shrimp and beijing beef with veggies instead of rice. Everyrhing tasted great esp the veggies — large crunchy broccoli and asparagus! Glad i stopped in will return soon, I really like how they’ve redone everything and they kept refreshing all the entrees while I was there.

Many many years ago I liked this place alot! The food was pretty darn awesome. I went there recently and all I can say is… What happened?
The food is, at best, mediocre. The inside of the place could stand a little redecorating. Service is OK. cant complain much there… but then again. how DO you mess up serving someone at a buffet where they serve themselves… all you gotta do is refill the drinks and show em their seats. So although not BAD service… doesnt necessarily shine either. You go to a restaraunt for the food… and weighing on that… there are better places out there.

Yeah, this place hasnt changed in years. I hate to say that I ate here not too long ago and it wasnt all that good. I’ve had MUCH better chinese food too. The décor of the place has been the same for ages, so it hasnt been redecorated or anything. Simple. We sat at a table along the windows and noticed huge stains (which I am assuming) are from drinks on the floor. (You couldnt miss that!) Dont tell me the owner is that much of a tight-​wad to not have the floors cleaned at the restaurant.
Can you imagine if the dining room is like that … what is the kitchen like? Ew!!! I dont recommend this place unless you’re going for your last meal.
