Mothers Day, 3pm, place is practically empty, about 6 – 8 servers, manager and cook staff on duty.
We tell them we have a party of 8, takes a few minutes to seat us, we order drinks … The waitress can’t get any of them right. Mixes up tea and water and coke …
5 of us showed up first the other 3 about 15 minutes later…
We place our orders, she starts on one side of the table, takes 4 and goes to the other side and takes those … We ask for more drinks …
She brings out the biscuits and rolls … She Brings 6 plates, after we asked for something to put the biscuits on… I had to go ask about some more plates so we could all have a plate .
Finally our food arrives, she starts asking us, who had what … We all got our food … Mine was wrong … They gave me chicken fried steak, with broccoli only … I ordered the angus steak, smothered in sautéed onions and mushrooms and gravy, with broccoli and carrots …
I told her it was wrong, she took it back … Brings me back a plain angus steak … I’m like … This is wrong …
She says … I will get the manager …
He comes over, says what’s wrong? I told him what I was supposed to have gotten, he says I will take care of it. 20 minutes later I get my food. Every one else is almost done. The waitress hadn’t even come back to check on us.
No offer of restitution or anything … Don’t go here … The tab was $ 100.00 with a party of 8 … I only left a $ 10 tip
The food is good, we eat at the one in Lancaster all the time. This place was terrible, the server was the worst. The manager couldn’t have cared less.

This is not the best location by far. It’s takes much longer for the staff to take your oder because of new technology (pen and pad was faster and just as effiecient). Food takes a long time and my turkey club sandwhich was soggy on the bottom. Also, don’t plan on getting refills even if you ask for them (twice). Tables are clean enough. But customer service isn’t going to happen at this location. It even took forever to get the bill.

I waited for over 5 minutes at the hostess stand at the west broad street location Columbus Ohio while employees were standing behind the counter talking amongst themselves. Finally since I didn’t leave (but know now I should have) one woman came over and rudely asked if I want to dine in???
Standing there waiting to be seated should have been a hint.
It only got worse. The server eventually showed up to take my order (took forever., even though there were only several other tables with diners (and plenty of servers) I ordered a salad with no tomatoes but asked if I could have diced red onions added to my salad and an unsweet tea and some sweeteners (the container at table was empty)
I received my unsweet tea and 2 packets of sweetener (indication of trouble… there was not going to be a refill…)a server dropped the salad in front of me (with tomatoes…(wasted)…with no onions) while running by… My server did check back with me when salad ¼ eaten and I asked about the onions. She laughed and went to get them .
And now comes the part I actually couldn’t believe. She brought two dishes with onions. Diced white onions. (Wasted)And red onion sliced.
And she said «we don’t have diced red onion. Only white“I said nothing. Not sure what could be said?
got no refill on my drink. Fortunately because I was out for the day I had a Diet Coke in my purse. I actually drank it.
Bill came… I put my credit card with bill.
Nothing.I got up to find someone. Anyone. To take my money. And was chased down by server (who had other diners food in her hands) she sat the food down right in front of me. Rang up my bill. And then picked up the food that had sat right there by my purse. And served it…
I love bob Evans food but my last several experiences at 3 different locations (all Columbus area) were all bad because of the service. Horrible.
Food good but just not worth the grief trying to get it!!!

There are to many other places to eat. With managers that make sure good service provided.,
Skip this place.

I did not like the service i was there 2:45. i had to wait 36 just for the server to come and check what we wanted to drink… the food took long time and the server was very slow at everything. the worse.

We ordered take out, they forgot a sandwich, when we went back in the cashier got attitude. They found they had not given us the sandwich and made no effort to make amends. We got out food back to it location and began to eat, the food tasted funny to us. We discovered the omelette we had ordered was made with molded cheese. When we tried to call back to complain, no amends was given and the woman who answered the phone claimed that they do not use moldy cheese and that my taste buds are off. I laughed because I told her I was able to eat some of the other food and the only 2 things we had that had cheese had 2 different kinds of cheese. One tasted bad, one didn’t. And still no amends have been made. We had been ordering to go twice a week from here, we will not any longer.

Hi, i love bob evans and their food. Its yummy. I order for take out and they make it just right everytime.

Stopped here on a trip out to Kansas, with my wife and 2 children. The parking lot was completely empty, that should have been our first sign. My children ordered the chicken and corn, wife ordered a side salad with broccoli soup and I ordered the wildfire salad. Once our food arrived my daughter found a hair in her corn, I pushed it aside and told her to just eat her chicken. Then about 2 bites into her soup my wife found a hair in hers as well. I immediately stopped eating my salad and we all pushed our food aside. The waitress asked if everything was ok and we told her about the hairs, she apologized and got the manager. The manager took $ 8 off our bill, we literally ate 2 – 5 bites of our food. The manager was rude and seems like she didn’t care that we had a bad experience. We left, checked out Unilocal reviews and got dinner else where (after spending $ 20 for a meal we never ate) Very disappointed! We have always enjoyed going to Bob Evans until now.

Went here again and sat for 10 minutes never got greeted so left. I need to stop going to this place.
