I ordered a couple of growlers for my boyfriend over the phone, as I live far away, and they were super helpful in assisting in picking good beers and having them ready for when my boyfriend went in to pick them up. Friendly and a great gift!

I am an avid beer drinker and I arrived at this place downtown when they first opened up and there is a ‘multitude’ of imported beer. Beer I have never heard of and lager. I paid for samples of beer and it was worth it. I bought a growler for the first time and it was worth the price! I filled the growler with the sweet tasting beer they just brewed and I was able to bring it back for more. I would definitely recommend this to my friends who love to drink beer and a variety of beer.

Truly a great example of creativity, passion and entrepreneurship. These gentlemen had the guts to start this place up and continue to set the standard for what a craft beer shop can be.

Love this place! I am addicted to their root beer. They fill growlers and have a huge selection of craft beer and soda.

Epic place! Not a bar, just a bunch of people who enjoy the hell out of beer! Great selection and superior knowledge from every member of the staff make this place an awesome experience. They took the time to answer my questions and guide me through my very paticular beer purchasing. Is now my standard for beer stores!

Had good service today. Very helpful setting me up in the rewards program. Glad i was able to come back on a good day. I’m a huge craft beer fan so I figured I would give them another shot.

I don’t drink much beer, and even I thought this place was impressive. I never knew so many different beers existed. The set up is really nice too, great curb appeal. That’s the reason we walked in, it looked really cool from the street.

Still love this place. Treat yourself to this unique store. If you love beer, this is the place for you. A great knowledge staff and awesome dog make this place a great shopping experience.
They also sell healthy meat and poultry products.
I can’t wait until they open another store. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a little more awesome in Columbus.

I’ve never ever seen this business model anywhere else. I found myself in Columbus for a wedding, exploring the Riverwalk (Verdict: Bee-​eh-​you-​tifull) and my hubs and I stumbled over this place.
They’re a beer store with a bar in the back. But the bar isn’t a bar. It’s a growler filling station. What? Kind of amazing, but my mind immediately boggles at the overhead. How do they make a profit?
It’s probably from a prodigious amount of tap take-​overs like the one we walked into. Wild Heaven from Decatur (say it right now, ya’ll – [DEE-​KAY-​TER]) had flooded those taps with, arguably, the best beer I’ve had from the South.
And the lovely folks at Maltitude hooked us up with a growler for… $ 5. Incredible! And the fill was only $ 16 (for a quad!).
My only complaint is they didn’t sell local wine, or group the locally made beer together. It makes it a little challenging for tourists looking to sample the local suds. But maybe this isn’t a place for tourists.
Because it was full of smiling, laughing locals.

One of the main things about beer I enjoy is the variety. This place has it. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about their selection. Also, any place that lets me bring my dog in is immediately one of my favorites!

This establishment is top-​notch! The first time I went in, I was greeted immediately by the staff. They are all very friendly, personable, and knowledgable. I know little-​to-​nothing about beer, but I know what I like. If you let them know what you’re in the mood for or what you like in a beer, they are able to provide several recommendations for you. They may even be «experts» in their field. The selection is very diverse, something for everyone. Definitely worth checking out!

Great knowledgable staff. Excellent selection. You like beer? Hit this place up. Best IPA selection I’ve seen in this area and most places on the east coast. You like ciders, they have Koppenberg which I’ve only seen in the UK. I’m excited about this place.
I’m adding on! They have a reward program. The more beer and cider I buy, I can earn points for a shirt or glass! Winning.

I have to give this place a 5-​star because I always get my two favorite things when I stop by, beer & punched in the dick. It doesn’t matter if I come in at 10am or 8pm, I’m getting some beer and I’m getting punched in the dick by that dog. Their beer is really good, but that dick punch is next level. No where else in Columbus comes close in beer or dick punches. Seriously.

Nice little specialty beer shop in downtown (uptown?) Columbus. We walked in on a rainy afternoon to a clean shop with a nice selection of unique brews. The guy behind the counter was helpful and friendly. They have two good sized coolers from which you can mix and match. This would be a fun shop to spend some time exploring. Could get dangerous (costly) though!

Awesome staff; awesome selection; feels like it should be in Atlanta but is in Columbus.
Had the 3 samplers special and the chick working there was super friendly and gave great recommendations.

Great beer. Staff has always been super friendly. Have the biggest selection of beer in Columbus. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get something other than domestic light beer. Ask the staff for help. They will pick something good.

They have a great selection of bottled beer. I really enjoy all the beer they have in a bottle. They rotate the draft selection frequently, although they carry a lot of stouts. They are a little overpriced, although you can figure that being downtown. I will pay the extra dollar or two for a good six pack.

I seriously love this place. We were looking for craft beer in Columbus and stumbled up Maltitude. They have lots of craft beer for purchase and a few pretty rare ones.
The owner (I forgot his name) and staff were super friendly and helpful. I had never owned a growler before so wanted to try that. You get to sample 3 — 1 oz samples for $ 3. The good thing is that its only $ 3, the bad thing is that you only get to try 3 because of some crazy Georgia law.
With that said, bring a friend so you can try more and be educated on your growler fill purchase. The prices are very reasonable, and will be back. This a great concept. I just wish that you could actually drink beer in there and have some food.

What a great place! Me and a friend are here from out of town and this is a craft brew fans paradise. Unfortunately, they don’t serve food and technically they’re a package store. But you can sample up to 3 of the. Fine beers they have on tap. Definitely worth checking out. Come get a growler!

It was great to come across the folks at Maltitude today, on their opening day.
The space is open and inviting, driving interactions between the patron and the staff. The staff, primarily the 3 co-​founders proved to be well versed in beers, both local selections and beyond. The organization of their offerings also speaks to their understanding of brewing styles and craftsmanship.
Highly recommend anyone with a remote interest in the craft beer scene stop into Maltitude. Give them a good home in downtown Columbus, an area that seems to be developing its palate quite well.
