History
Established in 1969.
The Jazzercise program was founded in 1969 by Jazzercise CEO Judi Sheppard Missett, a native of Red Oak, Iowa. Today, Jazzercise involves 7,800 instructors teaching more than 32,000 classes weekly in all 50 states and 32 countries.

Business Owner
Krista was someone who never enjoyed working out or exercising, going to gym was intimidating, both because of the people and she simply had no idea what she was doing, it was so boring! While out of town visiting a friend she was dragged to a Jazzercise class and from that moment on her whole life changed. She realized that exercise could be FUN. She returned home to find the closest Jazzercise location and signed up immediately. After two years of being a customer she jumped on stage and became an instructor, nothing better than getting paid to work out. She was then presented the opportunity to purchase the Pickerington and Gahanna Jazzercise locations, which she did on January 1, 2014. Being a business owner has it’s ups and downs but there is nothing else she would rather be doing and nothing else that she is just quite as passionate about!
