Hyatt Place Columbus North

I love all Hyatt Places. I’m able to bring my dog. This one’s next to a restaurant where my child can throw peanuts on the floor & at me, a short walk to a fast food chain with an epic looking outdoor playground. Refrigerator in the room, full breakfast, filtered water free in the gym, & a microwave downstairs available at all times.

IF I were able to give this hotel NO stars I would! During our stay my IPAD came up missing right off it’s charger in my room. Before we left we told the manager and to this date there has been no resolution. Her response was that they’re not responsible for anything while you’re there, really?! Not to mention the day we checked out, the cleaning lady knocked on our door before checkout to see if we were almost ready to leave so she could clean our room, never have I been rushed to checkout. Dealing with this hotel has been an unprofessional experience and I definitely don’t recommend this particular Hyatt to anyone!

The hotel was beautiful. Way too much chlorine in the but I understand being a hotel. This young lady at the front desk was simply amazing, her name is Ke, and made my stay so much better. Thank you:)

Close enough to the military base Fort Benning but only a few miles from downtown, Hyatt Place is a good choice if you ever happen to find yourself in Columbus, Georgia. That’s a big IF. There’s not too much happening here otherwise. I spent a few days here while my boyfriend was in his last week of training before deployment.
I was able to stay busy with the nice office area, giant L shaped couch, big screen TV, and super comfy king sized bed, I was completely content in the room. I worked out in the tiny 4 machine fitness center, but they also give you access to a full sized gym down the street! Towels at the pool made my 92 degree days a bit more bearable. I wouldn’t eat lunch or dinner here, but the complimentary breakfast is not to be missed. It’s no continental b-​fast, there’s a full spread of healthy food and breakfast sandwiches. Very kind service workers also!

Excellent hotel for business travel. King room had very nice desk and work area. The staff is very friendly and helpful to assist with local attractions and restuarants. I would have given this a 5 star however I was very disappointed in the free breakfast compared to other hotels which I stay at. They have a very limited free breakfast however you can pay an order a full hot breakfast.
