Hobby Lobby — a place that prevents boredom by supplying hobbies. I call this place heaven… but only when the pinterest obsessed girl comes out to play. The selection is AMAZING. The store is clean. The staff is helpful. They have anything and everything… is there anything left to say?

I really like Hobby Lobby. They have a better than average selection of craft supplies that are usually the cheapest in town. I do wish they had aisle markers. I almost always have to go down several aisles before I find what I’m looking for.

This Hobby Lobby is a danger zone for me. When I come in I want to buy a lot of things but then I remember I have groceries and bills to pay. I am not crafty in any sense and usually what I buy here are home décor items like wall hangings and lil figurines and picture frames. If you need seasonal decorations that are some what cheap you should come here. I would have given Hobby Lobby 4 stars but somethings are over priced. For example the furniture they sell is to me not for actual use and rather poorly made. Also because of the the constant weekly sales I know if I pay full price today, within 1 or 2 weeks the item will most likely be on sale at 30 or 50% off.

Love this place-they’ve got so much selection for scrapbooking and papercrafting, plus so much more. ove that they respect their employees enough to close on Sundays for family and worship.

I still visit on a regular basis to get my «discount craft» supplies. However the quality seems to have dropped considerably over the last few years. There is an abundance of «made in china» pre-finished household crap now, such as decorative pottery, candles, and such. And less of the supplies that artists need to create their own work. For me, as a woodburning artist, seeing the unfinished craft wood aisle sink from two solid aisles down to 2⁄3 of one aisle(for my usable pieces), is just bad. Also they don’t stock large quantities anymore, one or two of each thing, half of the time it’s broken. What happened guys?

I walk into a place like this and immediately shut down due to overstimulation. There is just way too much stuff that I want to buy!!! I can’t just come in here to get ideas. I have to be focused and know what I’m looking for and even at that, I’ve spent hours wandering the aisles looking for the perfect item. For example, I recently went in looking for gold paint. I probably had 20 of them to choose from and was able to find just the perfect one for my project. They have a large selection of canvases and the staff was kind enough to let me lay out several canvases in the aisles to see what worked well together. They also have ads in every Sunday’s paper(although don’t try to go on Sundays, they’re closed) with discounts on different items and the cashier made sure to check herself if anything I was buying was covered so I’d get a bit of money off! I always walk out of there with what I need(and a few more to spare) and a good deal. Just make sure you make a list before you go or you’ll be there all day!

Hobby Lobby is strange place. Despite the«hobby» in its name, the store isn’t a hobby shop at all. It falls loosely under the category of «craft store.» It’s much more than just that, though. The store is huge, and it’s a bit of a daunting task to walk in unprepared. The store does stock plenty of craft supplies — everything from fabric to scrap booking materials and empty frames to fake flowers. Jo Ann’s(and Michael’s, for that matter) has a better selection and offers coupons, so Hobby Lobby loses out there. In addition to all that, the store sells a sizable amount of furniture and home décor items. Most of it is pretty tacky, unfortunately. Does anyone really need a dozen different awful-looking gold pots? Someone, I guess.
