History

Established in 2005.

The owners of FrontRoom Furnishings have a long history of service to Ohio furniture shoppers. Townsend (Towny) Quinn formed Westgate Furniture in Columbus in 1959. He and his sons have been in the furniture business in Ohio over 45 years! In 1984, Towny, along with fellow FrontRoom owner, Ken Paul, transformed Westgate Furniture into The Living Room, «Central Ohio’s first and, at the time, only living room specialists.» Over the years, our company underwent many changes; first The Living Room, then Sofa Express, and finally selling the company to an outside investor. Our commitment to satisfying furniture shoppers has never changed. We’re back in business as FrontRoom Furnishings with better quality, a wider selection and improved services. Unlike many furniture stores doing business in Ohio, the owners of FrontRoom are from Ohio.
